Catherine, Katherine, Katharine or Kathryn?

I only like a handful of K names but [name]Katharine[/name] is one I do love. It has a strength of character to it, and doesn’t look like it was just spelt that way to be kreative. It’s also quite an old spelling - older than [name]Catherine[/name].

C has a lot of nice names, [name]Catherine[/name] is nice enough but not one of my Top Five.

I’ll keep C for [name]Caitlin[/name] - not a fan of [name]Katelynn[/name], [name]Kaitlyn[/name] etc. at all.

My favorite is [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]. It’s the way one of my all-time favorite literary characters spells her name. I don’t know if this is just me, but sometimes the spelling makes all the difference - when I see [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], I think of an old lady. But [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] makes me think of a spunky teenage girl. Does that make any sense? Haha!

I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks the prettiest, but i also love [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] since the nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] makes more sense with the k-spelling

i love the way [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] looks!!!

I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to the K versions by far. It’s one of my favourite names for a girl. My least favourite is [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]. I’m just not a fan of modernizations, and even though [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] has been around for quite a while, it just doesn’t seem as classic or substantial as the other versions do, if that makes sense.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] by far. In fact, I only like this spelling.

Have to be traditional here: [name]Catherine[/name]

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f], no clue why, if there was [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] I’d probably have picked that. The K feels spunky to me.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]! [name_f]Cate[/name_f] or [name_f]Cat[/name_f] for a nn.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] but I tolerate [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] as it’s closer to the original Greek. When you start fiddling about and adding 'y’s is when I start huffing, lol.
