I’m seriously over-thinking all name options for Baby Girl, due on July 13.
I originally posted Aria vs Ariyah and the love poured in for Aria Claire, which was so helpful! Aria is lovely and a) popular b) the name of a car?! (and so is Atlas, who is big brother; sigh).
Here’s a longer list of names; choose your faves!
Alina Claire
Aria Claire
Ayla Claire (ay-la)
Reina Claire
Rhya Claire
Sienna Claire (also a car…wth)
Soraya Claire
Any other suggestions are welcome!

Definitely love the sound of [name_u]Aria[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]!
Too bad about the car names (I wish car manufacturers wouldn’t steal the good ones!), but personally, I would not associate [name_u]Aria[/name_u] or [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] (or Atlas) with a car. They conjure up very positive imagery: my first association with [name_u]Aria[/name_u] would be music / opera, and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] makes me think of a warm amber colour.
All the options on your list are lovely! Here’s my order of preference (fave to least fave):
[name_u]Aria[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] / [name_f]Alina[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (tied for first, as they’re both so pretty!)
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (lovely & summery name)
[name_f]Reina[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (potential pronunciation issues - RAIN-a vs. REEN-a - but love the meaning)
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (I always find it tricky to remember the pronunciation: AY-la vs. EYE-la)
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (really want to like this one, but also can’t help hearing “sore eye”, but I think that’s just me!)
[name_f]Rhya[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (this one confuses me a bit - maybe [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] or [name_f]Ria[/name_f] instead?)

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]. I’m [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u], wayyy before [name_f]Claire[/name_f] became popular. Still gets a lot of compliments!
[name_u]Aria[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is sing-songy and matchy. I’m an [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] fan but sorry to see it taking off. I don’t usually favor matching first initials for sibs (maybe you do). [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] is a strong and statement-y name, so I like an equally noticeable fn for this child.
With big brother [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]-
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is PERFECT from your list!
Looking at your list/vein, I’d add:
[name_u]Atlas[/name_u] &
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
I guess I’m kinda stuck on 5 letters for both as a subtler way to match. Our kids have 8-letter fn.
A- names- [name_f]Amity[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Arlet[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Aleah[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
Others:
[name_u]Ivah[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
and one that seems to really suit your taste- [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (5 letters too)
Good luck,
[name_f]Ginger[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u]

Our kids have matching mn and ln initials with 8-letter fn so there’s still a lot of symmetry without sounding cutesy. Grantson Metz M. and Wellsley Michae (mckay) M.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is fab with [name_u]Atlas[/name_u], but rhymes with Lia…hmm. [name_f]Lia[/name_f] is a GREAT name.
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f], I’ll add.

It was on/off my long list.
Good creative work with your kiddos!

Dang car companies
I’m extra glad those names don’t immediately make you associate then with vehicles.
