Zongying (Zee) Genevieve Chen is another one of Ami and Izumi’s roommates. She always makes time for her friends and is incredibly thoughtful and perceptive and is able to pick up on people’s unspoken emotions, particularly Izumi’s. Zee helps her establish harmony and minimise conflict with Daisuke, and genuinely loves the fact that she can make a difference in her friend’s life. As much as she loves taking care of her friends, Zee needs to be alone to recharge and connect with herself.

Zee is always open to new things and approaches new experiences eagerly. However, Zee’s parents had their sights set on Zee becoming a businesswoman. For Zee, creative freedom was more important to her than wealth and success. Zee is a recording artist, and has worked alongside Kaikeyi briefly when Kaikeyi was still incorporating existing songs and fusing them with influences from her culture. Since Ami decided to make merchandise for Keikeyi, Zee has gotten back in touch with her. Zee has a fascinating array of interests- along with music she also enjoys making ephemeral art out of nature and learning about Izumi and Ami’s Japanese cultural backgrounds- she plans to make a visit to Nara with both her roommates to visit their families. Although Zee currently lives in Japan she has lived in China for the majority of her lifetime. Zee is an only child which means that her parents hopes and dreams were always pinned on her. She feels slightly guilty for not meeting their expectations but knows she is happiest doing what she does now- making music and art. But just because her parents have a very ideal version of everything, unlike Zee does, doesn’t mean she thinks they’re bad people. She loves them, but doesn’t like to admit that her need to always be fiercely independent has pushed them away.

Many people bother getting to know Zee. Beneath her shy exterior, she is an extremely artistic and creative person. She loves dying her hair, experimenting with new makeup looks and accessorizing. As she is so free-spirited, it would be easy to assume that she didn’t care about others and their opinions, but this is anything further from the truth. Zee has deep emotional awareness and perception. Her spontaneous and go-with-the-flow nature means that she is terrible at setting and sticking with goals. She believes that setting a goal for the future is pointless, because the future version of herself would be so different from who she is today.

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] “ [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] “ [name_u]Lowell[/name_u] (23) is a good friend of [name_f]Zee[/name_f] [name_m]Chen[/name_m], who used to be her roommate, but moved to Tokyo for a job opportunity. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] works for a big animation company based out of Tokyo, and she’s a character designer and animator who makes a generous salary. She’s been recently promoted to a higher position so she had to move away, though she’s still in frequent contact with [name_f]Zee[/name_f]. [name_f]Zee[/name_f] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] have a lot in common. Like [name_f]Zee[/name_f], [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is an immigrant- [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] grew up in [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs, a suburb of [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m], to two strict parents with high expectations for her. Her parents previously struggled with infertility, so when they had her they were ecstatic- after five long, tiring and exhausting miscarriages, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was their daughter. They had very high expectations for her- she’d make their family proud and continue a long line of lawyers. But [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was never interested in law- like [name_f]Zee[/name_f], she loved art from an early age. It began with doodling small stick figures and labeling them “mommy” and “daddy”, and blossomed into a real talent. The only person who showed any support was her older cousin, who’s three years older than her and is now 26 years old with her own family- she’s living in [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m], and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] often comes to visit her.

Maddie’s parents tried to steer her away from art, but nothing could steer her away from doing what she loved. In fourth or fifth grade, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] began to draw detailed anime characters- she took a liking to the art style and then she started watching real animes. Her parents tried to restrict her from all forms of cartoons- in middle school, she even started getting bullied for it. But [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] didn’t care- she just kept cosplaying like nobody was watching. As a result of this, Maddie’s parents got some backhanded comments from other parents- “oh, it’s so brave to let your daughter dress like that” or “I’m so glad your daughter has found…interests.” Her parents sat her down for a talk, but [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] said it was ridiculous- she said she’d follow her passions no matter what, and that her parents were being selfish and pushing her into being a lawyer, which wasn’t what she wanted.

Through high school, [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] tried to compromise with her parents- she took one art elective and a human body class on the side but eventually it became too much to balance, and she dropped the human bodily functions class. Her parents were disgusted and disappointed in her but eventually they came to accept it- and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] has never had a better relationship with them. When she told them she was going to Japan for college, they were definitely shocked- but they loved and supported her, and tried to understand her decision. This is where she met [name_f]Zee[/name_f] and all the others- [name_f]Zee[/name_f] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] clicked instantly, coming from such similar backgrounds, yet such different ones. When [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] told [name_f]Zee[/name_f] that she had to move to Tokyo for the job opportunity, [name_f]Zee[/name_f] was shocked- but she accepted it quickly. Now [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and her girlfriend are happier than ever- [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] met her girlfriend in Tokyo, and she’s lived there all her life- but she’s still intrigued by Maddie’s life in [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs and they sometimes visit.

Emmeliese [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (23) is Maddie’s pen pal. Emmeliese was born in [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs and has lived there all her life. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] was her best friend all throughout primary and high school and Emmeliese was devastated when she left [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m] to go live in Tokyo- but tried to be supportive. Now they communicate via text and hand-written letters. Maddie’s are always embellished with doodles of hearts and eyes. Emmeliese misses [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] and not seeing her everyday is still hard. However, it encouraged Emmeliese to make new friends outside of her bubble and try new things.

Her main love is horseriding. You wouldn’t typically expect a tough girl like Emmeliese to like animals as much as she does, but horseriding is in her blood. Her grandparents used to own a farm which Emmeliese used to visit every year. She would spend her entire summer around horses. The farm has now been sold off due to drought and financial problems. Now, Emmeliese is a member of an equestrian riding centre, along with others her age. Aside from horseriding, one thing she’s really gotten into since [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] left for Tokyo is cooking, especially Japanese food.

Clover Cressida Knowles (22) (her horse is named Cinnabon) is a friend of Emmeliese who like her lives in Caroline Springs. She’s very active at the equestrian center- Clover formally joined the equestrian center when she was only nine but has been hanging out there forever, as her two moms run it together. Clover’s moms love horses and it’s their passion to keep the family business running, so when she was growing up Clover would pass the time by by washing the horses, braiding their hair, riding them out in the pasture, or simply talking to them- Clover was and is a severe introvert and her horses have comforted her, especially sweet Cinnabon.

Clover has met Maddie Lowell before and she’s really happy for her that she got to pursue her dreams in Japan. The two weren’t the best of friends but they knew each other well and didn’t really get to pursue their friendship further considering Maddie went to Japan shortly after Emmeliese introduced the two of them- they met through Emmeliese who was very happy to introduce them. Clover went to a different primary school than Emmeliese and Maddie, but they all went to the same high school- Maddie and Clover just ran with different crowds, and only knew of each other through their mutual friend Emmeliese. But Clover loves Maddie’s drawings and finds them so adorable every time she sees one of them. Clover is no stranger to penpalling- she has many of them.

Clover also has a boyfriend- the two met in high school, after Clover accidentally bumped into him- it was love at first sight. The awkward encounter ended in Clover asking for his number, and, well…the rest is history. The two aren’t living together- he’s living in his own little lofty apartment, and Clover is still living on the ranch with her moms and her little brother. But the moment she can move out, she’s planning on it!

Pennylane " Pen " Winslow (21) is Emmeliese’s younger sister and friendly acquaintance of Clover, although they don’t know each other well enough to be called friends. This mostly stems from the fact horses have never been a particular passion for Pen - instead what she always loved most about their grandparents farm were the goats, who’s personalities she still remembers perfectly. She was always more openly upset by this turn of events, admittedly being a very sentimental person who has an especial soft spot for her family, but the fact Emmeliese has been able to continue her passion is a consolation for Pen. They share a close bond, in spite of having largely belonged to very different social groups throughout school: usually you’d find Pen being more laissez-faire about everything and she sometimes skipped class with her friends if it meant going for an adventure somewhere more scenic and peaceful. This confused some of her teachers as she took her exams seriously and studied hard, being a dedicated sciences student who always engaged happily in lessons - and spared her from being penalised more.

Currently, Pen’s studying to become a vet, with hopes on specifying for the agricultural sector. She considers farm animals to be somewhat overlooked and feels a real calling to caring for them, having rescue chickens of her own: Ludmila and Queenie. Pen’s remained at home while attending university because of how her intensive course doesn’t allow much time for working a proper job - a little frustrating for Pen as she loves going on day trips with her friends, but she does captioning work online when needing extra cash as it can be done at her convenience. Her sister is someone she visits frequently though, and Pen’s been helping Emmeliese with decorating her place in exchange for how often she’s around. While she doesn’t consider herself the greatest artist in the world, she has been working on a mural for her sister with some help from a good friend - an arts student - although never ask Pen for help with anything minimalist as she loves all her trinkets and keepsakes.

Growing up, Pen wasn’t a massive fan of her full name - she found it a bit over the top - but now she does have a soft spot for its uniqueness and how it fits her generally laidback vibe. She loves going swimming outdoors, free climbing or just hanging out somewhere picturesque with her friends. Environmentalism is unsurprisingly an issue Pen’s strongly invested in and she’s involved with a nonprofit that goes litter picking in local parks to protect the wildlife, but tends to not mention this much as she cannot stand sounding preachy or like she’s just in it to look better.

Doris Heliotrope Winslow (Dinosaur Doris) is the grandmother of Pennylane and Emmeliese. She is 92 years old and she started the family’d obsession with horses after taking riding lesson with Queen Elizabeth as a youngster. She aspired to be a cross-country rider when she took a dreadful tumble of her horse at the age of 19 and instead married Patrick Winslow for that sweet money. Doris gave birth to three girls and two boys and to fit all of them, she and Patrick moved to the country.
After Doris became a grandmother, she and Patrick moved to the city where she could be closer to Emmeliese and Pen. Doris called Pen “Penitina” and Emmeliese “Annabell” because she can never remember their real names even though she named them.
When the girls where just children, Patrick sadly passed away and guess who inherited the country mansion and most of the money? Thats right, our friend Dinosaur Doris! Using that money, Doris bought 5 more penthouses and is currently paying for Emmeliese’s and Pen’s uni fees.
Sadly Doris passed away after breaking her back when polka dancing but she will always be sorely missed by her family and the rest of the people on this CAF, assuming they are connected to her.

They have three sisters. [name_m]Mitchel[/name_m] is [name_u]Pen[/name_u] and Emmeliese’s father while [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] is a father to fraternal twins of his own and their younger sibling, who also does horseback riding. All of Jeffrey’s children are close with their cousins and his youngest child is aware of [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and her boyfriend and supports them together. [name_m]Mitchel[/name_m] is a world history teacher at university and [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] is a horseback riding trainer of his own. [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] credits his love for horseback riding from his goofy and lovable late mother and loves how she’s implemented it into the family although he’s fine if relatives don’t follow into the equestrian lifestyle, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] wouldn’t want to force that on anyone. [name_m]Mitchel[/name_m] is a polka dancer and feels awful for Doris’s dreadful accident but respects that she died doing what she loved. Both are fortunate to have inherited a penthouse and lots of money but live easy and causal lives. From their eldest sister, the twins are the great-uncle to a little girl who also loves dinosaurs and while they wish she had more time to interact with [name_f]Doris[/name_f] before she died, they admire that she did have some great memories with her and their mutual shared dinosaur love.

Bernadette Rose “ Bindi “ [left] and Tessadora Rae “ Tess “ [right] Winslow (both 19) are the fraternal twin daughters of Jeffrey Winslow, and the cousins of Emmeliese and Pen. Both of them were very close with their grandmother, Dinosaur Doris, and miss her dearly but like their father respect that she died doing what she loved and know she’d be proud of them now. Like Emmeliese and Pen, they were both named by her but were given middle names by their mother. This caused a bit of envy when they were little as Emmeliese and Pen didn’t have middle names and were extremely jealous of them for having them, and later the girls made up their own middle names- Emmeliese chose “ Luna “ because she saw a cartoon character who had the name and wanted to be like her, and Pen picked “ Harriett “ because she thought it sounded cool, but in a couple months the girls forgot about their fake middle names and went back to normal.

Bindi and Tess tried horse riding when they were little, but Bindi fell and hit her head causing a minor concussion and Tess was too traumatized to ride a horse again, causing her a lifelong fear of horses. Bindi and Tess have always been known to do the same things- wear them same clothes and have the same hairstyle. Tess has been dying her hair a lighter shade of blonde though lately and the two have began trying out their new aesthetics and figuring themselves out a little more without being “Tess and Bindi,” but being their own people. Bindi has always felt like the inferior twin whenever she’s compared to Tess though she does love Tess- the only person who made her feel differently was Dinosaur Doris, her beloved grandmother. She misses her terribly and sometimes feels like Tess doesn’t miss her as much as she does, which hurts. What hurt Bindi the most was when Tess got a boyfriend- the two were around 14 and Tess started dating a boy. They broke it off literally three days later but Bindi felt a bit hurt by it as Tess was “the first one.” Tess was also more mature as a teen too- when Tess was focused on boys and crop tops, Bindi still wanted to play games like four square and Tetris- all she wanted was to savor her childhood.

Of course, Bindi has dated tons of people- she came out as pan at 17, and Tess was the first person to know- she was super supportive and told her sister she’d adore her no matter what. Tess is a very naturally supportive person, to the point that Bindi suggested Tess study psychology- but Tess has always been set on becoming a marine biologist, which Bindi is also in full support of. Both twins decided not to go straight to college after graduation as the pressure felt like too much, but they both scored high marks on their SATs and Tess applied to The institute for Marine and Arctic Studies, in Hobart, Tasmania, and Bindi was furious- even more so when Tess got a letter of acceptance. Bindi has no ideas what she wants to do but knows she wants to stay in Caroline Springs as her family and girlfriend lives there. Both twins are in relationships, one being healthier than the other. Tess is dating Bindi’s high school crush, who’s actually an a-hole and is emotionally manipulative. Bindi is warning Tess to stay away but she just lashes out at her well meaning sister, telling her that “she’s just jealous.”

Bindi met her girlfriend through a side job at an art gallery- Bindi loves art and feels like it’s the only thing she can beat her twin sister at. Her girlfriend is also an artist, and she has a son who Bindi loves. Bindi wants to propose to her girlfriend one day but is too scared as she doesn’t want to be rejected or told “you’re not even in college yet.” Bindi is planning to apply to colleges but is held back by her own insecurity and fear that her sister Tess will always be better than her. However, their youngest sibling is encouraging Bindi to go for it- and Bindi’s feeling more determined than ever. Meanwhile, Tess is being pressured to drop out by her manipulative bf, and is considering it- the truth is, Tess always hated being the so called perfect one and wishes she could take Bindi’s spot, as Tess has an equally hard life and her boyfriend isn’t making it any easier. However, despite all the differences between Tess and Bindi, they’ll still always be best friends, no matter what.

[name_m]Falco[/name_m] has been horseback riding forever and considers himself a friend and ally to the horses he rides. He’s always been low-key jealous of the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] women for having such whimsical names while the men’s names were more normal so he took his nickname from the first three letters of his first name and first two letters of his middle name. That being said, he loved Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and thinks she wanted to give the males more unique names but [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] didn’t want it. [name_m]Falco[/name_m] always liked that his nickname was related to falcons as well due to the brave, vigilant, and fast nature of falcons.

[name_m]Falco[/name_m] isn’t in a relationship and is often busy starting university but he supports [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] and her girlfriend alongside [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and her boyfriend. [name_m]Falco[/name_m] doesn’t care if [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] proposes to her girlfriend or not as its her business but he admits he felt bad for [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] that he started university before her, even though he is younger. [name_m]Falco[/name_m] knows [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] isn’t throwing away her life and would never act like that, he just doesn’t want her to lose self-confidence especially since she’s at such a good spot with her girlfriend. [name_m]Falco[/name_m] has been quite mature and helped [name_f]Tess[/name_f] as much as he could against her controlling boyfriend and [name_m]Falco[/name_m] definitely wants them to split because he’s taking over how she lives her life. [name_m]Falco[/name_m] is also close with Bindi’s girlfriend and son, befriending her girlfriend and babysitting her girlfriend‘s son.

[name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (26) is the cousin of [name_m]Falco[/name_m], Emmeliese, [name_f]Pennylane[/name_f], [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u], the daughter of [name_m]Mitchel[/name_m] and [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] Winslow’s oldest sister and the mom of a little girl who loves dinosaurs. [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] indirectly named her daughter after [name_f]Doris[/name_f] [name_f]Heliotrope[/name_f], because she wanted to honor her grandmother who impacted her life in so many wonderful ways. She is the oldest [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] cousin, so all her female cousins would always look up to her and ask her for advice, along with [name_f]Tess[/name_f] who was always the more mature of the bunch. To this day members of the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family ask [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] for advice and consolation whenever they’re feeling down- she’s heard of Bindi’s messy situation and has tried to console and comfort her but knows it’s hard for [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] to not compare herself to her twin sister. [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] were very close as children and would always tell people they were sisters, which hurt [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] a lot. [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] assured [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] that there was nothing to worry about and that she was still wanted, and even tried to include her in situations, but [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] refused.

Contrary to what some family members believe, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] didn’t completely name [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f]- her bookworm mother helped out with it, but the two compromised on [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f]. Avonlea’s mother is an astute writer, who, like the rest of her family lives in [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs. Her wife lives with her- [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] is the biological child of her [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] mother and her other mom’s brother but despite this she always saw both of them as her moms. All her cousins envied her for being the only child at some point in their lives, but [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] assured them it was boring and lonely. The truth was, [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] was never bored- she had the horses to comfort her, including her own horse- a gelding who she’s named [name_m]Herb[/name_m]. She thought it was a funny name for a horse, and she spends all her spare time with [name_m]Herb[/name_m] whenever she can visit [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs.

Unlike her family, [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] doesn’t live in [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Springs- she lives in [name_f]Sunshine[/name_f] [name_u]West[/name_u], which is pretty close. (Both of these towns are real, and I picked them because I thought they had pretty names ) Her boyfriend is from there- the two met at a fair at the ages of 16 and 17 and have been inseparable ever since. [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and her boyfriend haven’t married because they want to take it slow and don’t want to rush anything, but they have a young daughter who loves dinosaurs which they think is adorable- [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] wishes she could’ve spent more time with her eccentric grandmother, as she was an amazing person. [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] has more cousins from her mother’s two sisters and loves them all dearly, and even invites them to babysit her daughter and her two cats- a white Scottish Fold named Marshmallow and a fat orange tabby named [name_u]George[/name_u]. Once again, [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] thought [name_u]George[/name_u] was a very funny name for an animal.

Atiana "Ti-ti Trixabelle’ [name_f]Doris[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] is the child of [name_f]Annette[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u], who is [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f], [name_m]Falco[/name_m], [name_f]Bindi[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_u]Pen[/name_u] and Emmeliese’s cousin. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] had Atiana when she was only 20 so Atiana stays with [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] while [name_f]Annette[/name_f] goes to uni. Although she has to look after another child, [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] is honoured to help with Atiana. Avonlea’s daughter insists that Atiana is her little sister and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] doesn’t have the heart to say no. Atiana actually starred in a reality tv show called ‘pregnancy and polka’ when [name_f]Annette[/name_f] was pregnant with her to keep the family tradition of polka dancing going.
Atiana spends her days pulling George’s tail, which makes Marshmellow jealous, vomiting up her baby formula and crying. Atiana is notorious for her loud crying and at family get-together’s, everyone brings a pair of ear plugs just incase.

He is the second-oldest grandchild of the late great Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and son of Doris’s youngest daughter. He’s also been close with Atiana as another guardian figure and likes to goof with her. Sometimes when family is around, [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] adores telling the family jokes and fun little stories until they forget why they even came to him. [name_u]Truth[/name_u] is, despite his humourous nature, he does have an unfortunate experience — his girlfriend of 3 years died in a skiing accident not too long before [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] last year. [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] was the nickname she gave him because his humour was a beacon of light in her life. Originally she was the only one to call him that but after she died, [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] wanted everyone to call him that from now on because he too needed a beacon of light within the darkness. Both [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] and his late girlfriend were the funny and goofy type and Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] loved her like a granddaughter before she too died tragically. [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] will always keep his lighthearted funny side but admits he had his best jokes when his girlfriend was still alive.

Humour has also helped [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] guide Atiana through infancy and be a good brother to [name_f]Annette[/name_f] during this time. [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] made a horrible error when he accidentally said the s-word in front of Atiana. He felt so bad and realised he needed a code word for the s-word so he’d never say it around the baby again and he saw some blueberries and BOOM! “Blueberry” was the code word for the s-word. Atiana made a blueberry in her diaper!” Everyone looked confused and [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] facepalmed. Now everyone knows what the code is and [name_u]Beacon[/name_u] doesn’t use it anymore out of embarrassment. “You’re never going to eat a blueberry again are you, Beacon?” [name_f]Annette[/name_f] asked. Unfortunately that scene was on the reality show “Pregnancy and Polka” so anyone who watches it knows the cringy slang.

Orenthia Carolina Winslow (50) is Dodie’s great-aunt, Avonlea’s aunt, Atiana’s mother, and Beacon and Annette’s mother. She is the youngest child of Dinosaur Doris. She absolutely adores her great-niece Dodie and likes that Avonlea paid tribute to the late tragicomic Dinosaur Doris. Orenthia is into horses as well, specifically ponies and is also into dinosaurs, specifically the spinosaurus. Orenthia is an archaeologist and is very pro-science. She is close with all her siblings but is closest with Avonlea’s mother although she doesn’t like to play favourites. Deep down, she is hoping Dodie one day gets a sibling but obviously doesn’t rush anyone on that decision. Orenthia is also head-over-heels for her granddaughter Atiana and her cute and funny moments.

She was given her unusual name by both [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], who decided to indirectly name her after Dinosaurs [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and the moon, because [name_f]Doris[/name_f] always found the moon so mysterious and beautiful- and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was born under a full moon. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] grew up the oldest and loved bossing her siblings around- she lived for all the attention they’d give her and Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] found this quite cute and endearing. From the moment she was born, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] loved books- she learned to read at the tender age of eighteen months, much to both her parents’ shock. As a result, they’d always take her to the library in a little red wagon, something [name_f]Adora[/name_f] treasures to this day and still cherishes. It is currently sitting in her garage. She’d consume books at the speed of light, and by the time she was in kindergarten, little [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was reading at a fifth grade level- something which caused her to be bumped up not one but two grades. She also was moved ahead for math, which was fine, because [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was great at math. But what she was not good at? Socialization.

[name_f]Adora[/name_f] hated socializing and the fact that all the current second graders had already made friends and nobody wanted to befriend her. She started middle school at 9 years old, and the only thing she was good at was reading- she would eat lunch every day in a little nook in the school library- she loved the quiet and peaceful energy, and could’ve probably stayed there forever. She entered high school much too young as well, and it caused her a great deal of pain to be constantly left out- but high school was a bit more fun. [name_f]Doris[/name_f] hated seeing her daughter struggle with life and decided to have her transfer to another school- a school for gifted children in the city of [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m], which was pretty close. Sure, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] would have to deal with the bus fares, but [name_f]Doris[/name_f] was prepared to pay. She had more than enough money for [name_f]Adora[/name_f], who was very thankful.

[name_f]Adora[/name_f] was ecstatic when she first entered the corridors of the school. The uniforms she didn’t mind- they were a collared white shirt and a green plaid skirt, with some knee high white socks and black loafers. The uniforms were a price [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was willing to pay for some quality interaction with peers her age who shared her experiences- there were so many more clubs and opportunities for her, and the school had her in the right grade for her age and ability. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] joined a writing club to fine she was really interested in it- and another girl in the club. She was kind, sweet and paid attention to her. When [name_f]Adora[/name_f] told [name_f]Doris[/name_f] about this, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] encouraged and fully supported her- “go get your girl!” [name_f]Doris[/name_f] cheered her daughter on. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] asked her out and she said yes- they’re still together today!!

[name_f]Adora[/name_f] decided to go to college for writing and all her siblings and family were very supportive. She published a coming of age book about a middle school girl, who had a childhood similar to her, and it blew up- The Tales of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Winterfield became a hit. She loved all the attention- she even went undercover online on forums to see what others thought of her book and some suggested that [name_f]Ada[/name_f], the protagonist, may have had mild ASD- because this character was completely based on [name_f]Adora[/name_f], she decided to go get an eval and check it out. Turns out, the forum was entirely correct and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] had it. When [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and her wife decided to have children, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was worried she’d pass it on- she did not, but she would’ve loved her beautiful daughter either way. [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] is actually having some symptoms of ASD and while [name_f]Adora[/name_f] knows she’s still young and shouldn’t come to conclusions, she knows [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] will love her daughter no matter what, forever. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was devastated when Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] died, and has even published a few books in the [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Chronicles with [name_f]Doris[/name_f] as the name on the dedication page. For now, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] is looking to help out any people who may be struggling the way she did, and enjoying the golden years- she’s thrilled to be a grandmother and couldn’t be happier with her wife.

He had always motivated his daughter to go after who she loved and was nothing but supportive of her and [name_f]Adora[/name_f]. He would be very happy to know they are still together. He and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] were the ones who motivated Adora’s now-wife to help [name_f]Adora[/name_f] break out of her shell. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] was a retired firefighter and was very quick-witted in his career and Avonlea’s boyfriend is pursuing firefighting as well. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] also had a large bookshelf full of books in his home, having The Tales of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Winterfield as a favourite. Alongside his daughter, he was also close with his beloved black cat [name_f]Kez[/name_f]. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] knew he was dying and the family was preparing for his ultimate demise, and [name_f]Kez[/name_f] was a great support animal both for him and for them. After his death from old age and multiple organ failure at 92; [name_f]Adora[/name_f], her wife, and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] took in his kitty, where [name_f]Kez[/name_f] spent the rest of her life. Since his death, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] would also have passed, although much more shockingly. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] are memorialised by both women, alongside [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f], her boyfriend, and [name_f]Dodie[/name_f].

She was considered the ‘black sheep’ of the family after she ran off with and then married [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_m]Little[/name_m] the day she graduated highschool. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though she had been outcast from her family for years, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] decided to support her younger sister when she had [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f]. While [name_f]Edna[/name_f] was a nice person at heart, she could be bossy and annoying. She argued frequently with her 3 children but mostly with her sister. [name_f]Edna[/name_f] disapproved of how her sister raised [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and her sister found Edna’s approach to children way too strict and bossy. Eventually, after a falling out with her sister, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] became a teacher at a local private school but she found the brats there annoying, needy and whingey so she quit and taught at a public school. Unbeknown to [name_f]Edna[/name_f], she was known as ‘Mrs [name_m]Little[/name_m] Brain’ by her students until she retired. [name_f]Edna[/name_f] now has a viral video of her shouting at a macdonald’s employee and demanding for the manager on tiktok and is actually proud of it. After she retired, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] reunited with her sister, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and was surprised to meet [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]. Despite her rugged, tattooed appearance, [name_f]Millie[/name_f] loves books and is actually a quiet and sensitive soul. She fell in love with [name_f]Adora[/name_f] for her intelligence first, before everything. When she was younger, [name_f]Annette[/name_f] was always at her grandparents farm, helping to milk the cows and goats and watching with interest as her older cousins rode horses and helped assist sheering the sheep. She wanted to be a zoologist or a veterinarian, but by the time she got older she decided to study journalism instead. Her career as a journalist had been going fantastically- she was a well-known writer who worked on stories for big blogs and magazines.

Her sudden pregnancy threw her off track and she took ten months off work looking after her daughter, Atiana. Atiana’s father had long gone and wouldn’t pick up Annette’s calls. Atiana never met her father and [name_f]Annette[/name_f] isn’t too bothered about that. She thinks they’re much better off without him. The [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family helped raise her baby, particularly [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f], who was around Annette’s age when she gave birth to her own daughter [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] grew closer with [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] during her pregnancy and Atiana and [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] make quite the pair and are inseparable. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] wishes that Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] was still around to watch Atiana grow up, she knows she would have loved her great-granddaughter and her cute and naughty tendencies. She also wishes Atiana could have had the experience of growing up on a farm just like [name_f]Annette[/name_f] and her cousins did. Sadly as her grandparents farm has been sold, there is no chance of that happening, but [name_f]Annette[/name_f] is a member of the same equestrian riding centre that Emmeliese is a part of, and Atiana loves it there!
