She knows that someday they’ll grow up to be like her and her female cousins- closer than ever. Orenthia Carolina Winslow (50) is Dodie’s great-aunt, Avonlea’s aunt, Atiana’s mother, and Beacon and Annette’s mother. She is the youngest child of Dinosaur Doris. She absolutely adores her great-niece Dodie and likes that Avonlea paid tribute to the late tragicomic Dinosaur Doris. Orenthia is into horses as well, specifically ponies and is also into dinosaurs, specifically the spinosaurus. Orenthia is an archaeologist and is very pro-science. She is close with all her siblings but is closest with Avonlea’s mother although she doesn’t like to play favourites. Deep down, she is hoping Dodie one day gets a sibling but obviously doesn’t rush anyone on that decision. Orenthia is also head-over-heels for her granddaughter Atiana and her cute and funny moments.

She was given her unusual name by both [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], who decided to indirectly name her after Dinosaurs [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and the moon, because [name_f]Doris[/name_f] always found the moon so mysterious and beautiful- and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was born under a full moon. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] grew up the oldest and loved bossing her siblings around- she lived for all the attention they’d give her and Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] found this quite cute and endearing. From the moment she was born, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] loved books- she learned to read at the tender age of eighteen months, much to both her parents’ shock. As a result, they’d always take her to the library in a little red wagon, something [name_f]Adora[/name_f] treasures to this day and still cherishes. It is currently sitting in her garage. She’d consume books at the speed of light, and by the time she was in kindergarten, little [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was reading at a fifth grade level- something which caused her to be bumped up not one but two grades. She also was moved ahead for math, which was fine, because [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was great at math. But what she was not good at? Socialization.
[name_f]Adora[/name_f] hated socializing and the fact that all the current second graders had already made friends and nobody wanted to befriend her. She started middle school at 9 years old, and the only thing she was good at was reading- she would eat lunch every day in a little nook in the school library- she loved the quiet and peaceful energy, and could’ve probably stayed there forever. She entered high school much too young as well, and it caused her a great deal of pain to be constantly left out- but high school was a bit more fun. [name_f]Doris[/name_f] hated seeing her daughter struggle with life and decided to have her transfer to another school- a school for gifted children in the city of [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m], which was pretty close. Sure, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] would have to deal with the bus fares, but [name_f]Doris[/name_f] was prepared to pay. She had more than enough money for [name_f]Adora[/name_f], who was very thankful.
[name_f]Adora[/name_f] was ecstatic when she first entered the corridors of the school. The uniforms she didn’t mind- they were a collared white shirt and a green plaid skirt, with some knee high white socks and black loafers. The uniforms were a price [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was willing to pay for some quality interaction with peers her age who shared her experiences- there were so many more clubs and opportunities for her, and the school had her in the right grade for her age and ability. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] joined a writing club to fine she was really interested in it- and another girl in the club. She was kind, sweet and paid attention to her. When [name_f]Adora[/name_f] told [name_f]Doris[/name_f] about this, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] encouraged and fully supported her- “go get your girl!” [name_f]Doris[/name_f] cheered her daughter on. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] asked her out and she said yes- they’re still together today!!
[name_f]Adora[/name_f] decided to go to college for writing and all her siblings and family were very supportive. She published a coming of age book about a middle school girl, who had a childhood similar to her, and it blew up- The Tales of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Winterfield became a hit. She loved all the attention- she even went undercover online on forums to see what others thought of her book and some suggested that [name_f]Ada[/name_f], the protagonist, may have had mild ASD- because this character was completely based on [name_f]Adora[/name_f], she decided to go get an eval and check it out. Turns out, the forum was entirely correct and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] had it. When [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and her wife decided to have children, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was worried she’d pass it on- she did not, but she would’ve loved her beautiful daughter either way. [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] is actually having some symptoms of ASD and while [name_f]Adora[/name_f] knows she’s still young and shouldn’t come to conclusions, she knows [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] will love her daughter no matter what, forever. [name_f]Adora[/name_f] was devastated when Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] died, and has even published a few books in the [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Chronicles with [name_f]Doris[/name_f] as the name on the dedication page. For now, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] is looking to help out any people who may be struggling the way she did, and enjoying the golden years- she’s thrilled to be a grandmother and couldn’t be happier with her wife.
[name_m]Garrison[/name_m] [name_u]Dale[/name_u] [name_m]Hurley[/name_m] (28 [name_u]November[/name_u] 1928 — 7 [name_u]March[/name_u] 2011, aged 82) was the father-in-law of [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and the father of Adora’s wife. He had always motivated his daughter to go after who she loved and was nothing but supportive of her and [name_f]Adora[/name_f]. He would be very happy to know they are still together. He and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] were the ones who motivated Adora’s now-wife to help [name_f]Adora[/name_f] break out of her shell. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] was a retired firefighter and was very quick-witted in his career and Avonlea’s boyfriend is pursuing firefighting as well. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] also had a large bookshelf full of books in his home, having The Tales of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Winterfield as a favourite. Alongside his daughter, he was also close with his beloved black cat [name_f]Kez[/name_f]. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] knew he was dying and the family was preparing for his ultimate demise, and [name_f]Kez[/name_f] was a great support animal both for him and for them. After his death from old age and multiple organ failure at 92; [name_f]Adora[/name_f], her wife, and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] took in his kitty, where [name_f]Kez[/name_f] spent the rest of her life. Since his death, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] would also have passed, although much more shockingly. [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] are memorialised by both women, alongside [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f], her boyfriend, and [name_f]Dodie[/name_f].
[name_f]Edna[/name_f] [name_f]Karen[/name_f] [name_m]Little[/name_m] (55) is the daughter of [name_m]Garrison[/name_m] [name_m]Hurley[/name_m] and the sister of [name_f]Adora[/name_f] Winslow’s wife. She was considered the ‘black sheep’ of the family after she ran off with and then married [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_m]Little[/name_m] the day she graduated highschool. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though she had been outcast from her family for years, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] decided to support her younger sister when she had [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f]. While [name_f]Edna[/name_f] was a nice person at heart, she could be bossy and annoying. She argued frequently with her 3 children but mostly with her sister. [name_f]Edna[/name_f] disapproved of how her sister raised [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and her sister found Edna’s approach to children way too strict and bossy. Eventually, after a falling out with her sister, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] became a teacher at a local private school but she found the brats there annoying, needy and whingey so she quit and taught at a public school. Unbeknown to [name_f]Edna[/name_f], she was known as ‘Mrs [name_m]Little[/name_m] Brain’ by her students until she retired. [name_f]Edna[/name_f] now has a viral video of her shouting at a macdonald’s employee and demanding for the manager on tiktok and is actually proud of it. After she retired, [name_f]Edna[/name_f] reunited with her sister, [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] and was surprised to meet [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]. She has a dog called [name_f]Biddy[/name_f] and a bird called ‘Shut-up’
[name_f]Mildred[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] “ [name_f]Millie[/name_f] “ Hurley-Winslow (57) is the wife of [name_f]Adora[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] and the sister of [name_f]Edna[/name_f] [name_m]Little[/name_m], who’s semi famous online due to her interesting TikTok video- [name_f]Millie[/name_f] knows she’d be ashamed if she were her sister, and is actually sort of proud of her for being so unapologetically herself. Despite all the baggage their relationship has carried, [name_f]Millie[/name_f] loves [name_f]Edna[/name_f] and would take a bullet for her- she loves all three of [name_f]Edna[/name_f] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] Little’s children, and is glad [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] has cousins on the [name_m]Hurley[/name_m] side of her family. Despite her rugged, tattooed appearance, [name_f]Millie[/name_f] loves books and is actually a quiet and sensitive soul. She fell in love with [name_f]Adora[/name_f] for her intelligence first, before everything. [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is very intelligent but in the end, she decided to follow her artistic calling and open a tattoo shop downtown. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (22) is Adora’s niece, Atiana’s mother and one of the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] cousins. When she was younger, [name_f]Annette[/name_f] was always at her grandparents farm, helping to milk the cows and goats and watching with interest as her older cousins rode horses and helped assist sheering the sheep. She wanted to be a zoologist or a veterinarian, but by the time she got older she decided to study journalism instead. Her career as a journalist had been going fantastically- she was a well-known writer who worked on stories for big blogs and magazines.
Her sudden pregnancy threw her off track and she took ten months off work looking after her daughter, Atiana. Atiana’s father had long gone and wouldn’t pick up Annette’s calls. Atiana never met her father and [name_f]Annette[/name_f] isn’t too bothered about that. She thinks they’re much better off without him. The [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family helped raise her baby, particularly [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f], who was around Annette’s age when she gave birth to her own daughter [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] grew closer with [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] during her pregnancy and Atiana and [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] make quite the pair and are inseparable. [name_f]Annette[/name_f] wishes that Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] was still around to watch Atiana grow up, she knows she would have loved her great-granddaughter and her cute and naughty tendencies. She also wishes Atiana could have had the experience of growing up on a farm just like [name_f]Annette[/name_f] and her cousins did. Sadly as her grandparents farm has been sold, there is no chance of that happening, but [name_f]Annette[/name_f] is a member of the same equestrian riding centre that Emmeliese is a part of, and Atiana loves it there!
[name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [né Little] (36) is Annette‘s journalism co-worker and the eldest sibling of [name_f]Edna[/name_f] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_m]Little[/name_m]. He’s somewhat out-of-place with his siblings due to age difference; [name_u]Christian[/name_u] was born when [name_f]Edna[/name_f] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] were 19, a year after they graduated high school and married. Meanwhile his other siblings are teenagers, one of them being 21 years younger than him and dating a fellow 15-year-old who is a child of Adora’s park ranger sister. [name_u]Christian[/name_u] knows it’s because his parents wanted to wait until they were older to have more children since they married at 18 and had their first child at 19 and felt they needed to “simmer down” and not rush through every aspect of marriage so young. [name_u]Christian[/name_u] does feel awkward being in his 30s and having siblings around half his age, but he doesn’t feel any hard feelings and tries his best to bond with them. He relates to [name_f]Annette[/name_f] and [name_f]Avonlea[/name_f] since he was around children when he was in his 20s although these children were his siblings, not his own children. He is married and changed his surname to his wife’s surname since he didn’t like how the [name_m]Little[/name_m] family outcasted his mother and felt closer with his wife’s side of the family. His wife also works as a journalist and believes she is pregnant, but isn’t sure yet.

(19) is the middle sibling, sandwiched between [name_u]Christian[/name_u] and her fifteen year old sibling, who’s got a penpalling relationship that Edie’s only seldom heard about, but barely at all because she knows her youngest sibling doesn’t like opening up about things. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] hates the name [name_f]Edna[/name_f] because she thinks it’s frumpy and old ladyish, and because she associates it with her mother, who she knows is a compassionate person at heart but has so many toxic characteristics [name_f]Edie[/name_f] wants to distance herself from. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] has heard of the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family through [name_f]Millie[/name_f] and [name_f]Adora[/name_f], and her sibling’s not-so-secret penpal, and loves the idea of being connected to such a huge family- Edna’s behaviours have caused her to be distanced from her own family at times, by choice and not by choice depending on the situation. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] does wish sometimes that she wasn’t given her mother’s name but doesn’t want to change it, as she doesn’t want to hurt her mother’s feelings or cause another temper tantrum, which [name_f]Edna[/name_f] has become quite notorious for.
[name_f]Edie[/name_f], like [name_f]Bindi[/name_f], hasn’t quite gone off to college yet as she’s still trying to figure herself out and there are so many options that [name_f]Edie[/name_f] thinks would be interesting and fun to pursue, but everytime [name_f]Edie[/name_f] sits down at her family’s computer and plans to type out an application letter, she’s stumped- she just doesn’t know what to write and how to write it as she doesn’t even know what her passions are. Which can be pretty tough, if you’re at Edie’s age. However, her mother has tried her best to give encouragement, and her siblings have told her that she can do it- and deep down, [name_f]Edie[/name_f] knows she can, but what if she can’t?
[name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] ‘Givenchi’ [name_m]Little[/name_m] is the little brother of [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_m]Little[/name_m] and [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]. He is very invested in his social media platforms, which he posts thirst traps on that everyone find cringey except him. His mother would ban him from social media except that she can’t get over how she blew up on tiktok after the infamous macca’s incident so I suppose it runs in the family. Givenchi hates his given name, which his mother chose, so consequently, he has some mommy issues. Givenchi is sort of connected to the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family through Evie’s connection to them but he doesn’t really care for them.
Givenchi likes to make a point that he is quirky, unlike other boys. He has tried to hit on his crush, [name_f]Stella[/name_f], multiple times but unfortunately, his thirst traps have disrupted that. His vampire-inspired video earned him a bit of hate and being relentlessly teased by [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. The only person who has accepted his interesting choice of career is his father [name_m]Richard[/name_m], who support his son even if he is the laughing stock of the town. Givenchi’s relationship with [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] deteriorated when [name_u]Christian[/name_u] got married and now the brothers are not on speaking terms.
[name_f]Stellaluna[/name_f] “ [name_f]Stella[/name_f] “ [name_f]Regina[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (15) is Givenchi’s teen crush. She’s into vampires but not [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] or Vampire Diaries, she prefers historical vampires and doesn’t want them hot, she wants them spooky. If vampires were real, she wouldn’t date one, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] loves the sun and garlic bread and it would just never work. Plus she knows vampires aren’t meant to date humans. That being said, she does like walks at night, befriending Gothic people, drinking red beverages, and making her skin paler, but isn’t flashy about it. She dresses as a vampire every Halloween and loves that she can freely talk about vampires then with people who aren’t interested.
But even though [name_f]Stella[/name_f] isn’t into vampire thirst traps and doesn’t find them authentic vampire culture, she wants to know more about Givenchi. She wants to see him for who he is. She wants to talk to him about what vampires are really like but also wants to see what he’s like behind the thirst traps because she knows the way people present themselves on the internet is always more exaggerated than in real life. Like Givenchi, she’s also the youngest child of the final [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] sibling. Stella’s mother is a park ranger and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] loves to take pictures of herself at the park. She’s admitted when she was younger that she liked to pretend it was a “spooky forest” and laughs it off now but still takes “spooky forest” pictures in [name_u]October[/name_u].
[name_f]Belladonna[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_m]Flint[/name_m] “Bella” (20) is a journalist that works alongside [name_f]Annette[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] and [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]. She is the girlfriend of [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] and is completely oblivious to the fact that [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] wants to propose to her. If she did know, her reaction would probably be mixed- [name_f]Bella[/name_f] loves [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] but doesn’t know if she is ready to marry. With [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] only being 19, she’d probably want to wait a while. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] met from both having side-jobs at an art gallery. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] instantly wanted to know more about [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] and asked her colleague and good friend [name_f]Annette[/name_f], who is Bindi’s cousin, if she could help to get them together, and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] has a feeling that [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] asked [name_f]Annette[/name_f] the exact same thing.
[name_f]Bella[/name_f] used to be a successful artist, hence her job at the art gallery, but had to quit when her parents claimed it wasn’t a “suitable” job, and so she picked up journalism instead. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] doesn’t mind journalism, in fact she likes it a lot, but she still wishes that she could be an artist. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] has painted portraits of all members of the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] family. She is intrigued by the Winslow’s and loves being a part of their circle. She gets along with all [name_f]Annette[/name_f] and Bindi’s cousins, particularly Emmeliese. Since meeting her, [name_f]Bella[/name_f] has become a member of the same riding stables that Emmeliese goes to. Her horse, [name_u]Domino[/name_u], is a black and white piebald.

When she and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] were children, the 5-year-age difference felt much bigger and [name_f]Odele[/name_f] always felt so little compared to [name_f]Bella[/name_f] but now [name_f]Odele[/name_f] feels like she can have real conversations with her sister even if [name_f]Odele[/name_f] is still a secondary school student. Despite growing up near Wyperfeld national park to support her mother’s park ranger occupation, she spent a lot of time with Emmeliese and [name_f]Pennylane[/name_f]- they’d visit a lot and [name_f]Callie[/name_f] even penpalled with the two of them for a short time- Callie’s pen pal letters consisted of acid-bright sparkly stickers and colored papers- she’d even send flowers from the national park (or at least she’d try to, they would all wilt once they reached her cousins’ house.) [name_f]Callie[/name_f] and Emmeliese migrated to phone calls and texts, as they were less messy and more efficient. Callie’s always been a spontaneous person, so it’s not unusual for her to send about ten heart emojis after a random text. Her old horse was a shade of chestnut brown, and she named him T-Rex to honor her grandmother. She’d constantly talk to her grandma for hours on end, and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] didn’t ever seem to mind.
Today, Callie’s an interior designer for a major company- she travels all over for work but lives in [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], in a small apartment with her steady boyfriend who she’s been dating for three years, their sweet daughter, who’s turning two in a week, and their pet budgie named Boop. But she’ll still visit her friends and family any day of the week, especially her mom and dad- [name_f]Callie[/name_f] is very close with her mom, and her dad (who took the [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] surname as a way to disassociate with his own). [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] died, [name_f]Callie[/name_f] has been heartbroken, but she’s trying to move past it. [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] and Callie’s daughter have the sweetest sisterly relationship, and [name_f]Callie[/name_f] absolutely adores it.
Arte “ Aero “ Wesley [Parsons] Winslow (49) is Callie’s father. He somewhat inspired the trend of men having unique nicknames for their typical names and Aero can’t be happier to be a Winslow. He’s not discussed to anyone other than his wife or children why he chose to change his original surname. He doesn’t think it’s anyone’s business why people choose to keep or change their surnames and believes people should have the right to their identities. Aero believes everyone should have an identity to be proud of. He also knows about the Winslow family friends and that Clover’s boyfriend is transgender and uses a different identity than the one he was born with and Aero supports him completely and will not stand for deadnaming.
Aero admits he misses Callie when she’s in Adelaide but visits her a lot and is more than overjoyed to become a grandfather. He’s always supported Callie’s boyfriend and their amazing daughter and says the best feeling he can feel is seeing his children be happy. Aero is a troubled teens mentor and has helped get teens back on the right track so he loves nothing more than redemption. He wishes he had grandparents like the late Dinosaur Doris but is inspired by how much she’s changed the lives of her family and the legacy she leaves. He will never try to replace her but ever since Aero became a grandfather, he wants to bring some light and joy in the life of Callie’s daughter.

Olivet Nora Ramsdale (19) is Aero’s niece, born to his younger brother, who also chose to drop the surname they were born with. Unlike her cousins, Olivet’s last name is the maiden name of her paternal grandmother, someone she’s maintained a close bond with in spite of living overseas right now - having chosen to pursue her English Lit degree as an international student. Olivet’s grandfather - Aero and his brothers’ dad - was a prolific car thief who was constantly in-and-out of prison throughout their lives; making dozens of empty promises about learning to be a better person which inevitably rang hollow every time. This isn’t discussed much outside of the family - it caused enough pain for the brother’s before they had children of their own - but it’s surprised no-one that all contact between Donald Parsons and them is non-existent. Once Olivet and her siblings received a letter from him, postmarked Tanzania, but they never replied to it, as the contents unsurprisingly rang as the same hollow declarations repeated over and over about him changing.
Having always been a shy person prone to drawing into herself, Olivet hated being asked about her grandfather whenever a classmate learned the truth, and she was more confident making new friends online by the time of her pre-teens. This is how Olivet and her now-roommate, Mara DeCody, met, and it would be Olivet who provided her new friend support during the saga regarding her own mother. Some people questioned their bond because the two met in person infrequently - although they did spend some summers hanging out (Olivet’s parents have both travelled extensively and were never against her spreading her wings) - but this has always been dismissed by both parties; and the unique insight Olivet possesses is what led to Mara asking about them living together once the Australian girl had settled into her course. The arrangement has turned out fantastic - excluding generosity given the formerly deteriorating environment Mara lived in - and somehow it’s made them even closer than before.
Alongside writing short stories - almost always containing a fantasy element, magic gripped Olivet’s interest when she was only a toddler - she plays the guitar and has been learning how to do nail art, practising on anyone who’ll give her a shot. She also owns a bearded dragon - Lars - who was an impulse buy while visiting a nearby exotic animal adoption centre. Throughout her studies and the move, she’s maintained a close bond with her parents, brother and sister, as well as her cousins; although Olivet never felt quite as close to the Winslow’s, and did sometimes shied away at larger gatherings because she never felt as involved. This hasn’t stopped her from ensuring the invite to visit her is completely open and anyone can take her up on it. Unsurprisingly, her younger sister wants to come whenever possible - as independence is something Olivet teases her for being so obsessed with - but if Callie also wants to come on a guided tour offered by her and Mara, she’ll absolutely be up for it.

He’s very close with his cousin [name_m]Falco[/name_m], and his cousin [name_f]Olivet[/name_f]- he’d always talk with her when he was bored. But really, he’s close to all his cousins and relatives. He’s planning on going to university soon, but like [name_f]Bindi[/name_f] he just can’t make a choice. There’s so many things he wants to do, and he’s happy working as a retailer for now- he is trying to get enough money to move out and go to college, much to his mother’s chagrin. [name_m]Spyro[/name_m] is also good friends and penpals with [name_f]Clover[/name_f] Knowles’ boyfriend from time to time, and thinks he might be in love with Clover’s bf’s sister…

[name_f]Meryl[/name_f] [name_f]Zoie[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] (age 54) is the final child of Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f], sandwiched in between the twins and her younger sister [name_f]Orenthia[/name_f]. [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] is the wife of [name_m]Aero[/name_m] and is the mother to three children. [name_f]Callie[/name_f], her oldest child, actually had a twin, but her twin was born stillborn. [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] hates talking about this and even [name_f]Callie[/name_f] doesn’t know about her stillborn twin. [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] would hate to upset her so she doesn’t plan on ever telling [name_f]Callie[/name_f]. Her decision to not tell [name_f]Callie[/name_f] led to an argument with her mother, who didn’t see why [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] would want to hide the fact that [name_f]Callie[/name_f] had a twin. [name_f]Doris[/name_f] threatened her daughter by saying that if [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] didn’t tell [name_f]Callie[/name_f], she would. [name_f]Doris[/name_f] wouldn’t listen to the countless times that [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] told her it was not Doris’s decision. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though Dinosaur [name_f]Doris[/name_f] was easy-going most of the time, she could also be extremely stubborn and strong-willed. Luckily, [name_f]Doris[/name_f] didn’t go through with telling [name_f]Callie[/name_f], but [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] wishes she got more time with her mother because she regrets the fact that they were on cool terms up to Doris’s tragic death.
[name_f]Meryl[/name_f] loved growing up on the family farm with her siblings. She was heartbroken when the farm was sold almost at the same time of Doris’s death. She is also very much devastated that she cannot give her children the same experience, which is why she now works at at Wyperfield National [name_u]Park[/name_u] as a park ranger and encourages her children to spend time there, sketching plants and animals and going on walks amongst the nature.
Murphy ’ Murph ’ Alec Kinnison (19) is Meryl’s godson and the best friend of her son Spyro, whose mother is one of the few people who knows about her stillborn child. The Kinnison’s are also farm owners, who focus on agriculture and don’t use any of their livestock for meat - ushered in by Murph’s grandma, who’s a vegetarian like him - however he isn’t planning on staying on at the business. In part it’s because Murph’s older sister is clearly going to be taking over, as she’s just the best management skills wise out of the four siblings, but he has his own aspirations of becoming an illustrator, ideally in the comic book and graphic novel world.
When they were kids, Murph was in charge of organising the intricate games he and Spyro would play, sometimes being joined by his younger brother or Falco. They were fashioned around the superheroes he adored so vividly and while Murph doesn’t consider his passion for comics anything close to cool - especially next to his skateboarding or urban exploring adventures - he’s never been able to shake this love, which has guided him to the degree he’s currently pursuing.
Typically it’s Murph who Spyro comes to for advise - something he’s always happy to give, on account of his older brother and sister typically bossing him about, as he’s notoriously disorganised - but the one thing he cannot provide any help with his romantic tips. Murph has suspected he’s had a crush on Pen Winslow for quite some time, the way she’s so unphased by things and wants to work with animals are admirable traits as far as he’s concerned, but he finds the idea of actually asking her out intimidating: partly because of a potential rejection and also because of how it could impact on his friendship with Spyro.

Iron Gerry [born Irene Ginger] Daley (22) is the mutual friend of Murph and Pen and is trying to figure out how Murph and Pen can go out with each other. Iron is already in a relationship with Clover and is madly in love with his girlfriend. Clover and Pen are just friendly acquaintances but Iron is closer with Pen over their bond with the goats, although Iron is a fan of all the animals. Iron chose his new name given his strength and he has a younger sister who supports him all the way, a woman Spyro is falling for. Iron has suspected Spyro is falling for his sister but doesn’t know for sure and admittedly feels awkward as the one in a relationship trying to navigate his single friends’ feelings for the people they like. While his relationship with Clover started in high school and was love at first sight, Iron is reasonable and knows not everyone will have that and that it doesn’t determine whether a couple will stay together or not. But as for him and Clover — they’re definitely staying together forever. Iron didn’t know Murph when they were kids so he never did the superhero stuff but Iron is more of a superhero fan now, especially Iron Man. Iron is a major in mathematics and is a nerd for the subject, but doesn’t let it completely control his life.
