[name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] Manriquez (20) is the final member of the Six and if Desdemona’s the most reserved, she’s the most outgoing. A fine arts and graphic design dual major, [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] calls herself perpetually indecisive, loving traditional painting as much as digital creation, and is forever flitting between the two. Her Peruvian heritage is very present in her work, constantly being referenced or outright visually displayed, and she’s always willing to educate others on it, having a very warm, sunny nature that allows her to constantly make new friends, to the point of which it’s a joke among the Six to not question the new names [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] drops into conversations as it’s such a frequent occurrence. For how she’s known by so many - increased by the fact she’s avid about partying, knowing a local DJ of decent repute who she helps get setup at gigs - [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] has three friends she’s known since middle school who she’s inseparable from, and shares very close bonds with. There wasn’t some major event or specific interest that led to the quartet forming, they all just came together over time and remained close from that point - however [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] doesn’t think everything needs a huge explanation or complex backstory, and that emotional meaning justifies things more than enough; commonly reflected in her artistry, as well as how she approaches life.

Her family are the closest to the actual campus out the Six’s’, not a surprise given Xochitl’s visiting them whenever she has a moment spare. She’s only got one sibling - her older brother - but her aunt and younger cousin are also living with her parents right now, after the sudden passing of her uncle, which left them wanting to be closer to immediate family thanks to the shock and grief. It’s Xochitl’s mom who’s the fellow artist of the family - she actually curates a small gallery, which displays local people’s work, including some of her own sculptures - while her dad’s a teacher and her brother is the ā€˜resident genius’ [as she affectionately calls him], having just obtained his degree in programming. Recently, she and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] have started to suspect he’s actually working with the second oldest Pearse sibling - the sister who left the family - however Xochitl’s brother appears to have some sort of feelings for the colleague in question, and [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] doesn’t want to intrude, partly in case she’s wrong and it’ll cause more stress for her friend, who she cares for so deeply. If the ID is correct though, [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] can’t help but wonder about what will happen if a relationship does start.

Like [name_f]Perlette[/name_f], [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] only has one roommate: her girlfriend. They’ve been together since their first year - having met when they both got lost in their first week on campus, leading to a dozen jokes regarding their mutually terrible senses of direction - and are basically soulmates [not that [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] uses that word as she doesn’t want to jinks anything]. The latest [name_m]Major[/name_m] Step they’ve taken together is adopting a bearded dragon, Calcifer, and he’s now becoming a regular feature in her work; usually as an easter egg of sorts to amuse those who know her best. Xochitl’s girlfriend is a speech therapy major who was the darling of her languages department in high school - not that she and [name_u]Haru[/name_u] have to battle for any titles thankfully, there’s no competition among friends - and she fluently speaks Spanish, something [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] both loves and gets embarrassed by, as it means whenever she’s muttering to herself while painting or composing digital art, her partner knows everything being said. In fitting with how she’s always got something going on, [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] frequently goes rock climbing, both indoors and outdoors, the latter usually with her brother and cousin to allow them some bonding time. Right now her major project is working on an album cover for her DJ friend, but it’s going a little slower than she usually works, as for her loved one’s, commissions have to be absolutely perfect.
