Unlike her older sister, [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] struggled with the move initially, missing her friends and family back home - but in the past eight years she’s settled and is studying [name_f]English[/name_f] literature, with the hopes of becoming a teacher. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] stayed close to her sister and parents so she can help out, being more of a homebody who enjoys baking and experimenting with makeup looks in her free time.
She does share Kiko’s enjoyment of hiking though - regularly going on long walks with her - and has recently become interested in surfing, which is facilitated by the fact she and her friends love hanging out at the beach.

Her parents became engaged just before she was born and she’s absolutely doted upon by her family, although Marley’s notably attached to her mother and takes a long time to settle when Tessa’s got to work on a shoot away from home. [name_u]Marley[/name_u] often gets knitted animals from her paternal grandma and her favourite is a blue rabbit, whom is known as Nibbles.
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Kinnison (24) is Marley’s dad and Tessa’s fiancé. Having grown up in Wishaw, [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] moved to Los [name_u]Angeles[/name_u] thanks to his job as a stuntman when he was 21 and it was on a shoot that he met Tessa, immediately being taken with her. Since the birth of their daughter, he’s been on paternity leave, as he didn’t want [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] to feel pressured into stalling his career, and makes sure to take [name_u]Marley[/name_u] to see the Rao’s regularly. Hamish’s family - his mother and three younger siblings - still live in [name_u]Scotland[/name_u] and although he isn’t able to see them as much as he wants, they keep in constant contact.
When he has free time, [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] enjoys mechanics - fixing up and selling cars for extra money - as well as body art, his most recent tattoo paying tribute to his daughter. For date nights, he always tries going above and beyond for Tessa, admittedly being a total romantic at heart.
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] Kellis (31) is Hamish’s tattoo artist. A serious and introverted man, he loves travelling and reading all sorts of books. He’s always been into art, but first discovered his love for tattooing his junior year of college. He currently works at a fairly upscale tattoo shop and is considering opening up his own shop in the future. He currently lives with his wife (who is expecting their first child!). He’s a little bit nervous about becoming a father, but is confident that is wife is going to be an amazing mother.

[name_m]Born[/name_m] in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Kaja’s a professional model, whose career began in her late teens and she’s traveled extensively since then. Like her husband, Kaja’s a reserved individual, although she has a distinctly maternal quality to her around others’, in part thanks to being eleven years older than her sibling closest in age. She’s been eager to have children of her own ever since she fulfilled her dream of modelling at [name_u]Paris[/name_u] Fashion Week, and has done her best to convince [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] her’s going to be a wonderful parent.
The couple met when [name_f]Kaja[/name_f] accompanied her friend to get a tattoo at the shop where [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] works, and were instantly attracted to one another. Now on maternity leave, when she isn’t organising things for the arrival of their child, Kaja’s working to learn Polish fluently - wanting to further embrace her paternal heritage.
[name_f]Sabina[/name_f] ‘Essie’ [name_u]Ellera[/name_u] Galica (18) is Kaja’s younger sister, who’s just begun attending university to study [name_f]English[/name_f] literature. Essie’s quiet like her older sister, being shy around new people, however this never impacts her passion for writing - with hopes to become a published author, working on numerous novels in her spare time. She’s eager to become an aunt, although the distance between herself and [name_f]Kaja[/name_f] is something [name_f]Essie[/name_f] isn’t overly fond of; hoping that her sister and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] will move closer to her family at some point.
When she isn’t creating meticulous mindmaps or jotting down ideas for a new chapter, [name_f]Essie[/name_f] enjoys photography and thrifting, exploring [name_f]Alberta[/name_f] constantly with her small, tight knit group of friends. [name_f]Essie[/name_f] lives just outside of campus, sharing a flat with two other [name_f]English[/name_f] students, having become close to them slowly but surely.
[name_f]Leanna[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Curry[/name_u] (19) is Russell’s cousin and Essie’s best friend, which is how the two know one another. A history major, [name_f]Leanna[/name_f] models in her spare time, although she’s uncertain about pursuing it as a full-time career. Unlike her best friend, [name_f]Leanna[/name_f] lives off campus with her family, being the eldest of four siblings and wanting to support her mother with childcare and chores, as her father passed four years ago. When she has some time to relax, she spends it with her friends, regularly staying over at Essie’s place when possible.
After spending most of her time focused on studies, [name_f]Leanna[/name_f] recently got into a relationship, but it’s obvious there’s a strong connection between her and her significant other. She appreciates how they understand her home life and restrictions, even if her siblings’ love to tease her.
[name_m]Dalton[/name_m] [name_u]Gary[/name_u] [name_m]Bingham[/name_m] (21) is Leanna’s boyfriend and a friend of Essie’s. A philosophy major, his goal is to go to law school and become an environmental lawyer. He grew up as an only child with parents who, while definitely not abusive, were certainly distant and often left him to his own devices. That’s one of the major reasons he loves how devoted [name_f]Leanna[/name_f] is to her family (and how devoted they are to her!)
In his spare time, [name_m]Dalton[/name_m] likes taking nature photos and going kayaking. He also enjoys spending time with his roommates and his pet dog Champion.
Mayang ‘Jem’ [name_m]Che[/name_m] (20) is one of Dalton’s roommmates, who’s majoring in literature. They’re non-binary and spent most of their childhood traveling, as Jem’s father is a Malaysian diplomat, and they share an understanding with Dalton; as whole Jem’s dad wasn’t neglectful, his work schedule meant he wasn’t there consistently throughout [name_u]Jem[/name_u] and their younger siblings childhoods. In spite of this, they share a close relationship with their mother, speaking to her at least once a week.
When they aren’t accompanying [name_m]Dalton[/name_m] kayaking, [name_u]Jem[/name_u] enjoys practicing violin - having been learning since they were seven - engaging in LGTBQ+ activism, and watching so bad its good films with their girlfriend; [name_u]Jem[/name_u] relentlessly spoils Champion, wanting to get a dog themselves at some point, although the lease on their house means they’re permitted to one pet at a time.
[name_f]Liana[/name_f] K. [name_m]Ramirez[/name_m] (22) is a friend of [name_u]Jem[/name_u]. She is an actress, dancer, and choreographer, but also loves martial arts. She is also a mommy to a daughter.

Before [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] was born her mother [name_f]Liana[/name_f] was in a serious relationship with her boyfriend at the time who is now her ex named [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_u]Baldwin[/name_u]. [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] is in full custody with her mother and enjoys going to the zoo with her grandmother who is known as [name_u]Coco[/name_u] but her real name is [name_f]Colette[/name_f].
Lanfen ‘Marnie’ Hao (17) is Harlow’s main babysitter, who lives two doors down from [name_f]Liana[/name_f]. Marnie’s a quiet person, who mostly expresses herself through makeup looks she posts on Insta, having a decent sized following - although she’s glad to not be massively focused on. She hopes to become an SFX artist, with a huge passion for experimental looks, always shining at Halloween when it comes to getting ready with her friends.
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] lost her mother when she was eleven and lived with her father and sister. She doesn’t confide in many people, aside from her dad and best friend, being a very private person who’s struggled with anxiety. Recently, [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] adopted two rats whom she’s named [name_m]Mitch[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], with plans on revamping their cage once she’s saved up enough money.
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] “Abby” [name_f]Kiara[/name_f] [name_u]Tailor[/name_u] (17) is Marnie’s best friend and another one of Liana’s neighbors. She’s known [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] since they were seven, when she and her family moved into the neighborhood. The youngest of five siblings, she’s definitely the baby of the family and is more than a little spoiled. She’s also into makeup, although her make-up looks are often more casual than daring.
[name_u]Abby[/name_u] loves to listen to music and do yoga. She’s thinking about going to college for nursing like her mother, but she really wishes she could pursue her dream of being a folk/indie artist. She has a pet cat named Stinky.

She runs a studio with many different levels of classes and tries to meet students where they are at even if they think yoga is “too hard” for them. She is a very chill person and tries to always take things as they come. She just back from her honeymoon with her spouse to [name_u]Hawaii[/name_u] and they are settling into their new apartment and is enjoying decorating the space. She enjoys keeping houseplants and is working on covering her place in new plants.
Masahiko ‘Asa’ Oyama (25) is one of Sal’s employees. The two have a sibling esq. dynamic, as [name_u]Asa[/name_u] looks up to [name_u]Sal[/name_u] a lot, as she took him on when he was fresh out of university - having trained in physical therapy - and uncertain of his future. He wishes he could be as chill as those he works with but sometimes finds himself dealing with stress, mostly as he still compares himself to his older brother sometimes, who’s a successful psychologist.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] lives with his long term girlfriend and their two cats - Boots and Bubblegum - in a cosy apartment, where he not only practices gymnastics still, but enjoys painting, having always been an introvert. He also regularly sees his younger sister, who’s still in school and they relate to one another a lot.
[name_f]Alayna[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_m]Jennings[/name_m] (24) is Asa’s long term girlfriend. They met their first year at university in an introductory biology class. She currently works as a kindergarten teacher and she’s thinking about going back to school to get her masters in education.
In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga with [name_u]Asa[/name_u] as well as playing video games and going to local trivia nights. She’s also often on the phone with her twin sister, who lives in [name_f]Canada[/name_f].
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] ‘Evie’ [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] [name_u]Tailor[/name_u] (24) is Alayna’s best friend, and also the older sister of [name_u]Abby[/name_u]. Being one of five is something [name_f]Evie[/name_f] struggled with growing up, and subsequently caused her to become a little solitary throughout childhood. A professional model, she started her career at seventeen and opted against university to pursue travel, although she’s now studying for a degree in languages on a part time basis. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] met [name_f]Alayna[/name_f] when they were kids on a school trip, and in spite of being shy, the two clicked immediately.
Living in a small apartment with her [name_u]Maine[/name_u] Coon, [name_m]Ned[/name_m], and regularly exercises, enjoying climbing and swimming. She also knits in her down time to de-stress, and rings her relatives often, space having made her more open. Evie’s considering speaking to her significant other about moving in together, but doesn’t want to ruin things, as they’ve been happy keeping their own places for just over 5 years.

A makeup artist and mother to a two year old, Marissa’s settled down considerably in the past few years, having had a much wilder streak than her twin years prior. When possible she visits her sister alongside her partner and son, the two having been high school sweethearts who reconnected while working on a film set - him a cinematographer, her in styling.
When she has time to herself, [name_f]Marissa[/name_f] enjoys going for bike rides and baking, her creative approach to makeup being apparent in the cakes she whips up. She also enjoys loves for walks with her dog, a Great Pyrenees named [name_f]Constance[/name_f].
