While he’s her legal guardian for the year, she doesn’t parentify him - he has enough stress as it is. During her pregnancy, she’s wanted to keep the baby. She’s pro-choice, but in a sense of literal choice and she doesn’t want an abortion because this wouldn’t be her true choice, it would be her parents’ choice. Although [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] is a juvenile, she still believes juveniles should have bodily autonomy. She’s been rebellious on this before when she got the tragus of her ears pierced as a teen with her aunt accompanying her despite her parents telling her she couldn’t. She’s not sorry for this.
To cope with her current stress, she’s been listening to music and spending down time with her BFF, the younger sister of [name_f]Venus[/name_f] Baroja. She supports the Barojas and has learned some intriguing information about the Basque culture from them. They do all sorts of activities as long as they’re safe within Stacia’s pregnancy and [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] finds her friend a wonderful person. Her friend wanted [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] to dump her boyfriend, after all his personality basically changed for the worst when [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] told him she was pregnant, and she was beyond pleased when [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] did. Her now-ex-boyfriend even started a false rumour that [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] cheated on him with her best guy friend and that her guy friend is the true father and that’s the real reason they broke up. It’s a total lie (she was literally the one who dumped him) and anyone who’s close with [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] would know that…and yet it still spread around the school. It’s not as juicy as it was when it first spread but [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] doesn’t know who started it. It should be obvious, but [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] is getting a feeling it was really from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, although she’s not pointing fingers until she truly knows who said it.
[name_f]Stacia[/name_f] felt awful when the rumour spread, after all, she never even wanted everyone knowing she was pregnant, let alone cheating on her then-boyfriend. She wanted that to be a secret although it technically wasn’t a secret if her friends and family knew. Still, she has a secret that nobody else knows. She’s considering telling [name_m]Felix[/name_m] at some point since it’s an important decision for her pregnancy but she wants to make sure this isn’t because of reducing stress for [name_m]Felix[/name_m], or impressing her parents again, or getting back together for her boyfriend, or impressing anyone else, but rather for her own life and future…She’s considering the possibility of putting her baby up for adoption. [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] would love to be a mother but she isn’t sure she’s ready to be a parent and before her pregnancy, she always thought if she had children, that she’d be “the best mother ever and better than the mother she was raised by”. She would never want to break that promise. But [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] wants an open adoption and isn’t sure if she would accept any adoptive parents who would refuse to contact her. She’s nervous to ask, but her best prospect on adopting her child would be her aunt, who has always wanted children herself but never had any. This is why her aunt was always so kind to her and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and why she let [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] rebel and get a tragus piercing. The reason why [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] is so nervous to consider her aunt to adopt her baby despite her aunt’s kindness is because she and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are afraid to ask for too much. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] himself hasn’t contacted his aunt despite his own struggles even though he feels his aunt could help him as well, due to his own nervousness. [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] herself feels the same way, but she’d always stay close to her aunt no matter what, her aunt is a true-blue family member that she’s lucky to have.
