Despite being quite younger than all of her siblings except her twelve year old brother and the sibling in between them, she finds a way to spend time with all of them and loves them all equally. The previous animosity and current avoidance between [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] and [name_u]Connie[/name_u] affects her the most as she wishes they could get along.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] definitely lives up to her name and is practically a cheerful ball of sunshine. She loves ballet and cheerleading and wants to be a professional dancer when she gets older, a dream that is encouraged by her grandmother who used to be one herself. Although [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is glad her parents aren’t arguing anymore she still feels anxious about the atmosphere in the house. She finds herself spending a lot of her time at her grandparents house or at her friend’s house to get away from it all.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is extremely stubborn and convinced [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] to let her meet his girlfriend after learning she was on the cheerleading team as the girl loves making friends. Within a few minutes of meeting her [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] had determined that she liked the girl and promptly told her so before proceeding to ask her a million questions about cheerleading.

[name_u]Cadence[/name_u] is a proud cheerleader and although she isn’t the head cheerleader of her cheer squad, she loves performing her routines. She strongly believes cheerleading deserves to be treated as just as much of a sport as any other typical sport and refuses to listen to those who won’t. She and [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] are close and while [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] can have more attention than her, it’s usually just the family sorting through Lisette’s mental health struggles so [name_u]Cadence[/name_u] understands that more than ever, never judging anyone for it. However [name_u]Cadence[/name_u] doesn’t feel the same way about [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] and his family and feels he deserves to be equally respected. [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] is the first man her age she has loved; she used to be in love with fellow Vietnamese [name_m]Thien[/name_m] when he was 17 and she was 15, but she learned he wasn’t her type and supports [name_m]Thien[/name_m] with [name_u]Holly[/name_u]. While [name_u]Cadence[/name_u] is mostly quiet, she gets very enthusiastic cheerleading and she loves Felicity’s good spirits, attending her recitals and acting like a surrogate big sister to her. [name_u]Cadence[/name_u] is proud of [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] for being such a good sister despite her recoveries from depression and tells [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] this a lot.

[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] ’ [name_f]Coral[/name_f] ’ [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] Robicheaux (18) is the head of the cheer squad, and while she isn’t a close friend of Cadence’s, they share a comradely relationship given their statuses. Contrary to some people’s assumptions, Coral’s nickname originated long before she started dying her hair pink when she was 16, but instead was given to her by her father due to her love of the colour stemming from childhood - and in middle school a lot of people actually thought it was her legal name thanks to how frequently it was used. Although she doesn’t dislike her birth name by any means, [name_f]Coral[/name_f] does joke a lot about how [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] Robicheaux sounds like a 90s superhero name, and she’d rather not face more assumptions.
The main crux of why she and [name_u]Cadence[/name_u] aren’t particularly close is because Coral’s an only child, meaning the bond between her fellow cheerleader and her sister is something [name_f]Coral[/name_f] doesn’t really understand. She’s open about not knowing how she feels about the idea of having any siblings - her parents had actually split up before she was born and did consider trying to have another child as parenting [name_f]Coral[/name_f] bought them closer together, but she’s relieved they decided against this, as they weren’t at all suited and staying together for the sake of another baby would’ve made homelife intolerable for everyone (as she openly admits her parents both have fiery tempers when pushed).
Although determined and dedicated - defending the squad to anyone who speaks poorly - [name_f]Coral[/name_f] isn’t a very aggressive person by any means, instead having a benevolent approach to popularity. She’s well-liked on account of how she’s always been known to stick up for others, dating back to when she was just 8 years old, but this happened when she witnessed bullying, and [name_f]Coral[/name_f] can’t abide anyone being treated poorly, even if she’s never spoiling for a fight. This extends to the company she keeps, as Coral’s written off friendships when someone’s shown their cruelty or prejudice, having a no tolerance policy for treating others’ poorly. [name_f]Coral[/name_f] plans on becoming a physiotherapist and right now, is applying for appropriate colleges, but hasn’t made up her mind yet.

[name_m]Roland[/name_m] [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] Robicheaux (50) is Coral’s paternal uncle. He is a single father to two, one of whom is Coral’s age and attends her school while the other is older. He and his wife are also divorced, divorcing 6 years ago, and he had custody of both children. His children are both adults and are happy for his patience and care but never trusted their mother and she is out of their lives. Roland’s ex-wife had constantly shown sociopathic tendencies. She lied a lot and always thought about herself in every situation regardless of how this would hurt others. She has no remorse if anything went wrong for anyone else and was a constant victim blamer, believing it was everyone else’s fault except her own, even if she was the one who caused the problems. She was very rude to him and the children and liked to have attention on herself. She exhibited a callous lack of empathy and freaked out when something didn’t reach her petty and high standards.
He and his brother, Coral’s father, are close and [name_m]Roland[/name_m] calls [name_f]Coral[/name_f] by the nickname as well, to her delight. He is proud of [name_f]Coral[/name_f] for standing up for what is right and doing what she does to stop arrogant people. Roland’s children/Coral’s cousins are also very close with her and support her journey and future no matter where it takes her. [name_m]Roland[/name_m] is a chiropractor and loves his job and finds physiotherapy a good path for [name_f]Coral[/name_f] but is letting her decide where she wants to be.

Kendall Amaya Robicheaux (16) is Roland’s youngest daughter as well as Coral’s cousin. When Kennedy was a baby, she was expected to be born as a healthy newborn. However, shortly after her birth, Roland noticed something was off about Kennedy’s eyes. First, her pupils were rather cloudy looking instead of black, but this was initially missed by the doctors. And as Kenney got older, her eyes would often wander around and jerk suddenly, and she didn’t seem to look around or follow people’s movements. This would be a concern enough for most parents, and would warrant a trip to the doctor for inspection. And Roland wanted to, but Kennedy’s mother insisted that Roland was simply paranoid and ‘the baby is fine, she’s just stupid.’ Eventually, as the problem continued and Roland’s concern grew, he took Kennedy to her doctor, and they discovered she was almost completely blind.
As Kennedy grew, Roland made sure that she was accommodated for, and fought to get her the support she needed in school. Kennedy’s mother was all for this to the public, and was the picture of a concerned mother who wanted nothing more than to help her disabled child. But it wasn’t like that so much at home.
Her mother would often ridicule Kennedy for her clumsiness growing up when Roland wasn’t around, making Kennedy do things she would have a hard time doing without help, like clean the house and do other chores. Roland didn’t realize this was going until Kennedy was 10, and then he made sure to leave his wife and is now fighting to make up for all the time he didn’t realize what was going on, and Kennedy and Roland now have a much better relationship.
Despite her challenges though, Kennedy is a funny and sarcastic teen, and has a big personality. A lot of people think she does this to make up for her lack of sight, but since being taken away from her mother Roland has made sure to build Kennedy’s confidence, and Kennedy is working on being proud of who she is. She enjoys singing and is in her school choir. She has a lot of friends and is doing well.

He’s worked as a priest until leaving his job and marrying his wife although he still works for a church and officiates weddings. [name_m]Tye[/name_m] has been on bad terms with [name_m]Roland[/name_m] in the past when he refused to officiate or even attend the wedding of [name_m]Roland[/name_m] and his now-ex wife, but the two have grown closer since the divorce. [name_m]Tye[/name_m] is a caring individual and never said “I told you so” or “I knew she was bad for you and you didn’t listen” for the divorce, instead giving [name_m]Roland[/name_m] lots of love and empathy for finally leaving that horrid marriage. Like [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], he’s been repairing and bonding his relationship closer with [name_m]Roland[/name_m]. He loves seeing [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], Kennedy’s sister, and [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and is always there for them. He is on rocky terms with Coral’s father, his other grandson, and believes that he has to stop getting so agitated. While [name_m]Tye[/name_m] is a church employee, he never pushes religion on his family. Like the late great Mr. [name_m]Rogers[/name_m] who was a Presbyterian minister, [name_m]Tye[/name_m] also taught kids love and life lessons without invoking religion into it.

[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Claudette[/name_f] Robicheaux (19) is Tye’s other great-granddaughter, Roland’s daughter and Kendall’s older sister. The home environment created by [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and Kendall’s mother left different scars for the eldest, who was used as a source of praise and approval whenever she was feeling a need for attention that wasn’t using [name_u]Kendall[/name_u] for sympathy points (as the effort of fully committing to a devoted mother didn’t suit her self-absorbed nature enough). Harper’s always been bright and was a mathlete in middle school, a path not exactly decided by her, and instead it was one her mom threw her into given the chance to exploit her children for personal gain.
If [name_u]Harper[/name_u] wanted to do something else - be it practice piano or spend time with her friends - it was almost immediately shot down by her mother. She was determined that her daughter would ascend in some academic manner - not that she really knew if it would be a scholarship or lauded IQ test - and that meant no distractions; even though [name_u]Harper[/name_u] constantly told her parents she didn’t really enjoy maths in spite of being talented at it, and instead wanted to be involved working with people, thanks to her very sociable nature. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her mother would lie to [name_m]Roland[/name_m], claiming [name_u]Harper[/name_u] was just being bashful about her accomplishments and convinced him to ignore her protests, helped by the fact at this point [name_u]Harper[/name_u] was starting to rebel by skipping competitions.
At 16 - three years after the divorce - she was diagnosed with depression, a shock to everyone apart from [name_u]Harper[/name_u] herself. She’d experienced a lot of dread, low self-esteem and lack of motivation once her mother was gone, as studying and taking pride in her academic talents were tainted by the woman who saw her solely as a means to an end; at the expense of friendships and letting [name_u]Harper[/name_u] be who she wanted to be. After she started attending counselling (set up for her by Roland), things started to improve, and Harper’s currently studying sociology at university - with plans on going into the social work sector, albeit from a researcher perspective. Most importantly though, [name_u]Harper[/name_u] actually gets to do what she wants when she wants, and loves spending time with her large social circle, as well as her sister - who she’s bonded over through music, as [name_u]Harper[/name_u] still plays piano and also the flute.

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Liliwen[/name_f] [name_u]Lux[/name_u] (20) is a member of Harper’s large friend circle, and her best friend since the first grade. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] was bullied in first grade and ever since [name_u]Harper[/name_u] stood up for her she’s been following her around, as she’s become her best friend and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is loyal to those she loves. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] introduced [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] to some of her friends and they clicked right away. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] has always been a great makeup artist and artist in general and her friends really admire that. She’s also good friends with Harper’s older sibling, the eldest- the two are dating and have had mutual feelings for some time but haven’t told [name_u]Harper[/name_u] as they don’t want to hurt her.

Sebastian “ Bastian “ Lewis Rogers (24) is another member of the friend group. He is the middle child between his older sister Sylvie and younger sister Holly but the eldest member of the friend group. Of the Rogers siblings; he’s the only male, only one without children, and the only gay - being with his boyfriend for a year. His boyfriend is also in the group and got him into the friend group and although Bastian is older, he’s not a leadership-type person and isn’t the one to “level up” anyone. He’s just a simple individual and not ready for children or marriage yet and enjoys dating life. This doesn’t mean he’s not into his boyfriend, the two are madly in love. Bastian doesn’t understand people who want their lovers to shower them with expensive gifts - who even has that kinda money? That being said, he and his boyfriend are crafty people who prefer making special little romantic gifts rather than buying them.
He knows Primrose and Harper’s older sibling are very close but hasn’t figured out that they’re dating, mainly due to their dates being secret. Bastian’s boyfriend thinks that there is at least some form of connection between the ladies but Bastian’s never thought about it for long enough. Deep down, Bastian doesn’t really mind what goes on if he knew, after all he just wants his friends to be happy.

[name_m]Silvain[/name_m] ’ [name_u]Silver[/name_u] ’ [name_u]Ryder[/name_u] Wyckman (21) is Bastian’s boyfriend and the person who introduced him to the group. They met in befittingly low-key fashion: at a boba tea shop they frequented between their work shifts - somewhere [name_u]Silver[/name_u] found a safe haven in comparison to his mad shifts at a hard-wear store: frequented by stressed out couples looking for home improvement tools (who tended to have very poor relationships, with frustrations boiling over onto the employees caught in the middle). Like [name_u]Harper[/name_u], Silver’s studying sociology at uni which is what led to them becoming friends, after they were paired up together for a project and they discovered their mutual love of piano.
Unlike [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Silver[/name_u] comes from a loving family who’ve always been supportive, accepting and uplifting: especially when he came out as bisexual, shortly before his 18th birthday. [name_f]Music[/name_f] is a unanimous passion many of them share too: with his granddad having been a very successful saxophonist who’s toured extensively with a variety of bands, and while [name_u]Silver[/name_u] himself doesn’t intend on following his footsteps, that doesn’t make him any less eager to hear stories about the backstage antics of touring musicians. He doesn’t share these stories freely much though, as he hates coming across like a clout chaser, and only close friends know about this part of the Wyckman family.
Although he isn’t an only child, Silver’s a lot younger than his older sister, and has recently become an uncle. He jokes to [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] a lot about how once his niece becomes a toddler, she’ll want to start making cards for him too, as Silver’s very good at crafting collages - which is mostly how he expresses his affections for his boyfriend.

He and his wife have been married for four years and he’s beyond thrilled to have become a dad recently. [name_u]Donnie[/name_u] has always loved to bake and started up his own bakery when he got out of college which is how he and his wife met. He’s currently working on opening another location.
[name_u]Donnie[/name_u] is a very adventurous person and loves to travel. He hopes his daughter will like to as well when she gets older. He enjoys surprising his wife with little presents that remind him of her and is always making her favorite pastries. She is a very active child who is always moving, climbing, and exploring. Her parents would describe her as an endless bundle of energy. [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] enjoys watching her dad bake, reading with mom, spending time with her aunts, uncles, and grandparents, and singing and dancing in her own little way. She can sometimes be seen waving at customers at the bakery when she visits with her parents.

She’s a very resilient and sweet, gentle woman and from a very young age, she knew looking after kids was her passion. She grew up in a very big family as the oldest on a farm in [name_u]Indiana[/name_u], and looking after her siblings and cousins was her favorite responsibility, to the point where it didn’t even feel like a responsibility anymore. She’s very close with all her younger relatives, and she’s developed a sense of maturity much more than her peers- while other people her age are mainly focused on partying and drinking she’s focused on work. As a daycare instructor doesn’t make much money she also works at a restaurant, and she’s really good at being a hostess too, as she’s naturally polite. She’s very different from her fiancé, who grew up in a very different situation and never really did grow up- though [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is helping her beloved fiancé find a sense of responsibility and they’re helping her to loosen up more and not be so anxious, though it’s hard for someone so cautious like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] and her fiancé are considering adopting a child that they’ve been fostering for a while- this kid actually is in the same daycare class as [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is. While this child is very anxious [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has gotten them to come out of their shell very easily. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] hates loud noises and bigoted people, who she’s had to encounter a lot in her small hometown- she tries to fend off bullies and mean people but she often finds herself so flustered and confused and she doesn’t know what to do much to her chagrin- luckily her fiancé is very outspoken and can help with that. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is very lucky to have her fiancé and foster baby, as they are to have her- [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is excited to expand her family as she’s always wanted a fairly big one, but she doesn’t want to force one kid to take on all the responsibilities of a third parent or a free babysitter, like she did…

[name_f]Navya[/name_f] Roshni Sandal (26) is Lily’s fiancée and co-parent to their foster child. She is an only child and extremely outspoken. Sometimes to the point that she ends up being called out as having “Main Character Syndrome”. What can she say? Maybe a spotlight should be following her around…
Being much more of a free spirit, [name_f]Navya[/name_f] does a bunch of different things to earn money for their family. Her main source of income being portrait photography and modeling. Her art has recently started getting noticed on social media and she has used the platform as a way to speak out about injustices.
She cannot wait for the adoption to be finalized. It feels to her like the process has been drawn out forever. One of Navya’s favorite things is curling up every night and reading their little one to sleep. Hopefully, one day, she and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] will be surrounded by an entire sports team!

[name_m]Gage[/name_m] [name_m]Odin[/name_m] [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] (25) is Navya’s soon-to-be brother-in-law and the second [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] sibling. He’s mature but rather shy. During childhood; he, [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and some of the other siblings were homeschooled by their stay-at-home mother until they were brought up into public school when their mother couldn’t afford to keep staying at home anymore. [name_m]Gage[/name_m] was 14 when he first attended public school and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] was 15. [name_m]Gage[/name_m] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] weren’t the only ones who had to adjust on the big family, their siblings and cousins did too. Some of the youngest family members weren’t born yet during this adjustment so they always went to public school and don’t quite know what it’s like for the older siblings and cousins. They felt weird attending public school for the first time but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] was always using her leadership role to help everyone else adjust, and [name_m]Gage[/name_m] is thankful for that. Thankfully none of them ever picked up on bad habits that some of their fellow students did, and stayed away from bad influences. [name_m]Gage[/name_m] is happy [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is now using her skills to be a daycare instructor; after all if teenagers had a hard time adjusting to being with other students away from family, imagine how hard it is for babies!
While [name_m]Gage[/name_m] is very close with [name_f]Lily[/name_f], he’s also supportive of [name_f]Navya[/name_f]. Like [name_f]Navya[/name_f], [name_m]Gage[/name_m] is into arts as well. [name_m]Gage[/name_m] is a videographer and likes to make videos for people, and will make videos of people when requested. His favourite type of videos he likes to make are music videos for aspiring musicians and wedding videos to make at weddings. He’s standing in as the wedding videographer when [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Navya[/name_f] marry and he’s excited to make a beautiful wedding video to last a lifetime.

[name_u]Armani[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] (22) is the third [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] sibling and Navya’s future sister-in-law. [name_u]Armani[/name_u] was 13 when she entered the public school system and had a better time fitting in than the rest of her siblings. [name_u]Armani[/name_u] hated being cooped up inside the house and dreamt of going to public school for the longest time, but initially going to a public school did cause difficulties— teachers had certain expectations that [name_u]Armani[/name_u] wasn’t used to but acquiesced to them. Though [name_u]Armani[/name_u] disliked schoolwork, she loved the environment— participating through a lot of student-led activities and ending up as class president three years in a row. Currently, [name_u]Armani[/name_u] is at [name_m]Brown[/name_m] University pursuing a Masters’ degree in the Literary Arts. It seems that the [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] family is artistically inclined— [name_u]Armani[/name_u] has published poetry from the age of sixteen and does not seem to be stopping anytime soon.
Due to the distance between her and her family, [name_u]Armani[/name_u] isn’t the closest to [name_f]Navya[/name_f] yet but from what she’s heard from [name_f]Lily[/name_f], she’s excited for the wedding. She thinks [name_f]Lily[/name_f] deserves the best and plans on giving them the best maid of honour speech of all time— she’s already re-written three drafts.

[name_m]Todd[/name_m] [name_m]Clement[/name_m] [name_u]Calloway[/name_u] (51) is Armani’s cool uncle and the one most inclined to support public school, convincing their parents to let them in. His parents were the opposite, sending him to public school when he was a child but homeschooling him as an adolescent. Although the reasoning for this is justified: schools in [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] were more prejudiced at the time and unfortunately the family decided this was the safest way to give education. As of now, [name_m]Todd[/name_m] doesn’t live in [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] anymore, moving to [name_u]Jersey[/name_u] City, [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Jersey[/name_u]. He will be attending the wedding and knows [name_u]Armani[/name_u] and [name_m]Gage[/name_m] will help make it extra special. He’s proud of [name_u]Armani[/name_u] for making it into [name_m]Brown[/name_m] University. [name_m]Todd[/name_m] has two grown children who are cousins of the siblings, the younger one applying to [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] League colleges herself.

[name_u]Pepper[/name_u] is one of two people that might be valedictorian of her class, and she’s praying that she is: the other candidate for valedictorian is her ex-boyfriend whom she despises. He had cheated on her with another girl, and while she’s trying to lose animosity towards him as he doesn’t deserve her time, [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] really doesn’t want to sit through his speech, as even his voice hurts her. She also doesn’t like losing. Thing is, Pepper’s last name is ahead of him in the alphabet, so she figures she’s the most likely candidate.
[name_u]Pepper[/name_u] is an aspiring communications and visual arts major— she and a group of friends have revived the school’s dying art department themselves and brought new opportunities to the students. She is a wise woman and is a pharmaceutical rep and is excited for the eventual wedding of her niece [name_f]Lily[/name_f] with [name_f]Navya[/name_f]. [name_f]Stefanie[/name_f] was always a headstrong woman growing up and she believed life was “too short for cheaters”, so she never let a cheating boyfriend stay with her and never let a cheating ex ruin her life. However she knows it’s different for [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] since the two are in the same school vying for valedictorian, so they can’t fully avoid each other until after graduation. [name_f]Stefanie[/name_f] knows she doesn’t get to control who becomes valedictorian of the two but motivates [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] that she deserves it. She is genuinely impressed by Pepper’s ways of reviving the art department at school and thinks it would be “crazy” if she doesn’t get picked for valedictorian. While [name_f]Stefanie[/name_f] believes Pepper’s ex is a bad influence, she gets along with Pepper’s friends. She also gets along with the friends of her older child and sees them as bright and lovely people.
