A couple I really dislike:
[name]Nell[/name] (this name just is not pretty at all to me-I can’t help think of the wild woman)
[name]Dashiell[/name] (I just don’t get it)
[name]August[/name] (and [name]Gus[/name] is not a great nn for me)
[name]Imogen[/name] (same reason as [name]Nell[/name]-just sounds ugly to me)
[name]Lola[/name] (this I feel the worst about as my niece has this name-but it’s just too cutesy and I can’t picture a woman [name]Lola[/name] who’s not a stripper-that might seem mean…sorry to those who like it!)
And [name]Charlotte[/name] has gotten a lot of hate in this thread, I just want to say I have always loved the name [name]Charlotte[/name]! But it’s all a matter of personal taste and random associations we have.
