I added that one recently! I like it
@paxmama - I’m adding [name_f]Amara[/name_f]! [name_m]Can[/name_m]’t believe I forgot that one! I’m not familiar with the “dark” side of [name_f]Delyth[/name_f]
For whatever reason [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] give off that sort of vibe to me
I think [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is because of the witch and generally kind of a more halloweenish/dark vibe
Victoria I think is because of Victorian [name_f]England[/name_f] which for some reason makes me think of darker vibes
@mololy - I was considering [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]! She is also a goddess of the [name_u]River[/name_u] Severn. I think [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] can work as well, since it means “victory,” that is a powerful statement!
@Elle1 I just associate [name_f]Delyth[/name_f] with this mysterious, mystical purple vibe.
Oh, and Clytemnestra! She stabbed Agamemnon in the bath
I would also say [name_f]Medea[/name_f] - a Greek sorceress and murderess, priestess of [name_f]Hecate[/name_f] and niece of [name_f]Circe[/name_f].
I would suggest:
Guinevere
Vashti - The Biblical queen who wouldn’t submit to her husband
Zuleika - The name of Potiphar’s wife in legend
Messalina - An infamous Roman noblewoman
Zoraida
Viviana
This threads has loads of great ideas too:
Oh so [name_f]Tisiphone[/name_f]!
Vesper
It means “evening star” and also…
I think [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] and [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f] belong too.
Sloane and [name_f]Greer[/name_f] came to mind!
@choupette Oooo that’s a great thread, thank you! I’ll add all those you listed, they are great! But I’m not sure about [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]. It has a great meaning, “life” but I’m not sure if it has a “darker” vibe as well?
@hyacinthbucket Ahh I LOVE this one
YMMV of course, but to me it just “sounds” mysterious, plus I was thinking of its connection to the [name_f]Lady[/name_f] of the [name_u]Lake[/name_u] in Arthurian myth. Bonus: other [name_f]Lady[/name_f] of the [name_u]Lake[/name_u] names - [name_u]Vivien[/name_u], [name_f]Viviane[/name_f], Nyneve.
I am learning SO MUCH from this thread
I’m adding a few from this list of “fallen angels.” But the genders aren’t specified so I’m not sure if I missed any for my list here!
[name_m]Abaddon[/name_m] - Name means “to destroy.” A male name on this site, but a female character on Supernatural.
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] / [name_f]Amii[/name_f] - President of hell.
Azza - Name means “the strong.”
[name_f]Naamah[/name_f] - Fallen angel of prostitution whose name means “pleasing.”
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] - Fallen angel who appears as a phoenix.
