Hey there, I have been busy for months to look for a perfect name for my daughter.
My name is Eveline en her dad likes the name Evelyn to honor my name. He also likes the name Victoria. I really like the meaning of Victoria. The name Maria is her second name because of the many Maria’s in the family.
I prefer [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]! You could always do [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
I think having both an [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and an [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] in the family would get confusing. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is a lovely, elegant name! It has my vote.
What about [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_m]Basilio[/name_m] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_m]Basilio[/name_m]?
Of the both my favourite is [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u], but [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u] is the best because takes all!
However, I do like the idea of honouring you somehow especially if Maria isn’t from you side of the family (and even if it is).
Could you have Victoria Maria Evelyn B? Or Victoria Eva-Maria B? Or else Victoria Maria Eveline B?
As an aside, I much prefer Eve/Evie as Evelyn nicknames more than Vicky for Victoria (which I don’t love). Fortunately Victoria also gives you: Tori, Toria, Ria, Rory, Vicu, Vee, Vivi, Vera/Vira etc.
Finally, Evelyn also flows very well and is more popular/on trend. It’s a really pretty name. The only problem that could arise from using it is if you’re having any other children and they feel a bit huffy at one stage or another than the eldest for such a big name to connect to you as their mother - might not be anything but worth considering.
I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] - that is stunning.
You could even do [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] Evamarie to include all the names?
I think [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] are pretty close so unless thats really what you would want, I would go with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
I wish I could use both names. [name_f]My[/name_f] other kids have one middle name which would make this child more special but thanks a lot for your feedback!
Thanks a lot for your feedback! I also prefer the nicknames for [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] isn’t my favorite either. [name_f]My[/name_f] other daughters names are [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Elyse[/name_f]. Both [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] and [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] come from [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], a variant of [name_f]Eveline[/name_f]
Congratulations! I adore [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]! I’m considering to use it myself one day. I especially fell in love with it after I heard [name_u]Johnny[/name_u] Depp say it in the movie ‘Dark Shadows’, he pronounced it so nicely I love the meaning, the sound. I love the regal elegance and the way it feels both strong and romantic at the same time. I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Vicky[/name_f], but I don’t mind the other nickname options. But it’s such a nice name that I’d just love to say it the way it is. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is pretty, but it’s incredibly similar to your own name, plus I just lovelove [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite Eva-name is [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] for sure, but it’s again just way to similar to my taste.
