hello everyone! 
we haven’t been up to much, mainly getting indie ready as she is starting nursery in september! her dad and i made this decision together as we thought she was ready, we didn’t think she’d be ready for school just yet because she’ll only be newly two when she starts but we thought this would be a nice first step. she’s only going two days a week for now, and we’ll see as the year goes by if we decide to add more days.
indie has been incredibly exited as she’s becoming a big sister soon!! though it’s theo and his girlfriend who are giving her that title, not me. she’s super exited as she’s getting a baby sister, she’s told at least a hundred people about baby sister and how amazing baby sister will be. i have managed to squeeze some name clues out of them, and it’s that her middle name is one syllable and begins with c. i think it’s claire as it also seems their style as well. only time will tell! any guesses for first names?
indie’s birthday party is in a week and her birthday in eight days. i’m hoping your all going to make it to her birthday party as i know she’d really love for you all to be there. the theme is two sweet!

hi everyone, it has been a while!
i have some exciting new updates!
firstly, bambi girl turned five! her birthday wasn’t long after my last post. our crazy little firecracker is still the same, but gosh we love her! bam bam had the best day. we threw a small party with all of her kindy friends and she loved it. she has been very proud of being ‘five fingers big’ and has been telling everyone whenever we go somewhere! miss bambi dorothea, we love you so much!
i am also now eight months pregnant! the girls cannot wait for little baby to be here. we ended up choosing to stay team green as we want a surprise since this may well be our last baby!
the girls are still absolutely loving cooking food from our own ingredients that we grow! lula has been obsessed with these yummy banana pancakes - she has even become quite the master at flipping them!
and miss romy is going well as per usual! she is still loving her reading and has gotten so good at it! she is only seven but reads better than many older kids that i know! she is the sweetest, she has been helping me set up baby’s room and she loves making some of the decisions since i am so indecisive! i don’t want to ruin the surprise of the room, but this girl has some good taste!

today and tomorrow are my last days with a one year old! sweet indie bean turns two on saturday. it’s just crazy how fast all the time has gone. i’m exited for how big she’s getting and watching her grow up has been such a privilege but i’m wondering where my tiny baby went? it’s had me scrolling through an entire world wind of baby photos!
right now she’s at theo (her dads) house and he’s been sending me gorgeous pictures like these…
theo’s girlfriend is due with their little girl soon, so miss indie is going to be a big sister! i finally managed to squeeze the name out of them, but i’m not going to share until she is born! though it is a very pretty name!

unfortunately, we didn’t get a positive test this month, but we’re already preparing for the next round.
we are enjoying our last weekend of summer vacation with a trip out of the city and to the beach! school starts on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] so we’ll be heading back this afternoon to make sure they’re all ready. the school does a staggered start so that not all of the kids are coming in on the same day. [name_m]Cove[/name_m] goes back on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] for kindergarten, then [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] starts on [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] with the rest of the elementary kids, and Keeper begins transitional kindergarten (pre-K but for older 4s) on [name_m]Friday[/name_m]. [name_m]Quest[/name_m] is in the 2-year-olds class and they don’t start until next week. it’s kinda crazy, and I’ll admit that we have a color-coded schedule on the fridge now to help us remember everything going on
anyway, even though she doesn’t start until [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], our little fashionista [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] is the only one who has her outfit picked out for the first day. here she is, trying it on last week:

my name is izzy (isobel!), i am a thirty year old and half aussie, half french, and my husband nic, who is danish, swedish and swiss (i know, all over!), and i have four gorgeous kids. we are currently living in amsterdam, however we plan to move back to aus in a year. we travel a lot and we love it, however with two of our four kids being in school now, we think it is time to head back! anyway, enough about that, let me introduce our kiddos!
saskia flora mae is our eldest. she is seven and the sweetest big sister. she is the most gentle, precious soul and just loves looking after her little siblings. sassy has the biggest heart and loves all living things. she is definitely pretty shy around people, but really is the most lovely girl.
freja calliope scout is our five year old and the cheekiest little girl! just like her sister, freja loves animals. she has so much energy and is the most loving, bubbly little girl. she has the biggest heart and just loves people! she also definitely sticks up for saskia, she is super sassy and very confident!
hugo wilbur jude is our only little boy. he is three and the sweetest soul. he really is an old man at heart, and loves reading, spending time with his siblings. he is so gentle, the calm to freja’s crazy! hugo is like a little bear, he just loves hugs and following around his sisters!
pip isobel anouk is our youngest! she is one, only fourteen months younger than hugo, and the most independant little girl. she definitely is the sassiest of the kids, but just adores being around people. pip has the most gorgeous little curls and is the cutest little bub!
like i said earlier, we travel a lot and have lived in many different places! anyway, here is a bit about where we have lived! saskia was born in london, as nic and i lived there as a home base while we traveled when we were younger! freja was born in france, as we were living in annecy, my mother’s home town. we love it there so much! we then moved to montreux, switzerland until just before hugo was born! we loved it there, but then decided to move to amsterdam as we have always loved it here and wanted some stability while the saskia was transitioning into primary school! pip was obviously born here, so we will be sad to leave if we do go through with it as amsterdam truly does feel like home now!

Miss [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] certainly lives up to her nickname - she is my sassy little ray of sunshine. She’s never had a problem belting out a song or twirling around the shopping centre. Affectionately deemed our little pocket rocket by our family and even her kindy teachers, my [name_f]Sassy[/name_f] girl loves the playground (especially the climbing frame) and throwing a football around in the backyard. She is always smiling and giggly and insists on saying goodbye to all her friends when we leave kindy each day.
Miss [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is my quiet little sweetheart. She loves playing and taking care of her baby dolls and she would keep every animal on the planet as a pet if she was allowed to. She is my cuddly little girl and is always the first person to volunteer if her friends need a hug. Though she is on the shyer side, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is more than happy to get up and dance with her sister. She was very excited to get her first pair of rollerblades (after a long time of expressing her interest) and she is anxiously waiting to be a little older so she can go rock climbing.

it’s lovely to meet all of you! i’m emilia, my partner robin and i are proud parents of four beautiful and very sweet girls. we are currently living in a suburb of australia near sydney, australia. though i’m not from sydney i’ve lived all over, born in england to english parents when we moved to california when i was two. robin has lived in aus his whole life and loves it here, and as do i!
my eldest daughter…billie mae
billie is my sweet and spunky six year old! billie is lots of fun! so much of the time she’s smiling, she’s joking and trying to put a smile on the face of every person in the room. billie is my literal ray of sunshine and she couldn’t shine brighter. bills is the most strong minded person i know, and she’s also incredibly stubborn. i could count on my fingers how many times she’s changed her mind and accepted that she’s wrong. but she’s the most loving little girl and being mummy to this little lamb has been one of the coolest experiences of my life!
then my second bab…indie rose
indie bean, our cheeky four year old! this girl is constantly up to mischief and pushing the boundaries though she can be incredibly sweet and loving. indie’s constantly trying to get people to submit to her will, as maybe i’m just raising incredibly stubborn and strong minded girls, as her sister she’s incredibly stubborn. though indie’s constantly causing trouble and picking up fights she’s the most loving little girl and she’s got the biggest hear i’ve ever seen on a human!
then we have miss milla capri
she’s only two, and is definitely giving us the terrible twos right now, but she has the most radiant personality. milla is loud, ever since she was a baby she has not been afraid to make noise. she’s either squealing or laughing at her sisters’ jokes, shouting because she wants to make noise and and just being an all round noising little madam. the only place she’s quite is at the ballet school, she’s the best little ballerina in her class and is constantly twirling around the house!
and finally we have our youngest sweet girl…scout clover
scout is only one and doesn’t really have a lot of personality yet, but she’s definitely one with the chaos. i guess growing up with three wild older sisters you really learn to get used to and embrace it all! in her short fifteen months of life she has watched indie break her arm twice, about a hundred of milla’s ballet concerts and can now run and keep up with the older girls.

Changing the perspective of the family. Previously it was Zannie’s POV, then Tamara’s, now I’m going to Oscar’s POV! I’ve never done a male POV (I’m a chick IRL) but I figured he, [name_m]Nyle[/name_m], [name_f]Zella[/name_f], and [name_m]Taye[/name_m] could use some love too! 
Our adoptive daughter [name_f]Zella[/name_f] is currently 6! She wasn’t a fan of back-to-school but it faded away when she met her friends! Well, mostly faded away. She calls me her [name_f]Papa[/name_f] and [name_m]Nyle[/name_m] her Dada. She came up with who’s who: we just go along with it! She’s been a proud “big girl” since losing her first tooth, and she’s since lost another so she’s joyful on top of the world!
Our adoptive son [name_m]Taye[/name_m], who is practically sibling BFFs with [name_f]Zella[/name_f]! They love pirates lately and love ships and pirates, ahoy! He is still a Swiftie and he loves basically anything all-ages. He’s insistent on all-ages things to be much different from kiddie things. That being said, he’s not ashamed of cartoons! He loves swimming as well and he just started school a few weeks ago!
As for my siblings, we’re doing well. @SparkleNinja18 [name_f]My[/name_f] sister [name_m]Michele[/name_m] knows how you feel. She’s taken another pregnancy test and it’s again been a negative, but she and her husband aren’t giving up! [name_f]My[/name_f] brother [name_m]Damien[/name_m] is trying to learn water boarding and my happily single sister [name_f]Tamara[/name_f] is currently expecting her first child via IVF!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted!!
I have some big updates on our family!
Firstly, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] recently won a flute competition!! [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and I are so proud of her! The prize was an opportunity to get professionally recorded, and I’m so happy for her, as I never got any opportunities like this! School has been going well for her, and she’s made several friends.
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] has also been doing super well! He recently turned 14, and has literally shot up in height. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] has been doing super well with his first year in high school! He also has a new girlfriend, [name_f]Haley[/name_f], and she’s a very sweet girl.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is still, well, our [name_f]Anna[/name_f] lol. She’s gotten increasingly sassier and increasingly crazier, but she’s still our lovable and silly little girl. She quit horseback riding recently to focus more on soccer, and she’s recently been added to a club soccer team!
Lastly, we have our youngest, [name_m]Benji[/name_m]! He’s been doing so great recently! He is loving his new school and has made lots and lots of friends! He still loves playing outside and has joined a soccer team, much to Anna’s delight!

hello everyone! i’m so happy to see this becoming popular again!
the weather is getting colder here, which in some ways i love as it means cozy nights by the fire, but i am just such a summer person that i dread the dark and cold days! all the kids are summer babies too, and we are definitely jealous of my family in aus who are going into summer now!
nic’s parents came to visit for two weeks and left yesterday. they live in the most gorgeous countryside town about four hours from stockholm, and the kids love visiting, but this time they came to us which we love too! we went away for a couple days to the most gorgeous farm in an area we love visiting. there are a few new baby goats and here is sassy with one of them!
hugo, freja and i popped into the farmers market the other day. we love it there as there is the most delicious fresh produce from all the local farms!
pip has been so cuddly recently, i think it’s because we have been spending a lot of time at home together! i work at home so she only goes to preschool once a week, which she loves but she definitely prefers to be home! saskia and freja are at a local billingual primary school which they love and hugo is at the same preschool as pip, but three days a week! she will be two very soon though, and at that age hugo was going twice, so we will see!
anyway, that’s all for now!

pretty chill few weeks! we’ve been spending a lot of days on the beach, seeing as the kiddos are on school holidays. though they go back to school tomorrow!

So I’m back! It’s me [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], I was nervous to come back and blog but my sister Tamara’s reassured that I’m doing fine. She is currently a nurse and expecting her first child. She’s a single mother by choice and honestly I’m glad she had it via IVF and not by her obnoxiously fake ex. [name_m]Nyle[/name_m] agrees and told her, “You go girl!” which I laughed and agreed with. She’s sent sonogram pictures to us and we’re excited for a new niece or nephew along the way!
I’m excited for [name_f]Tamara[/name_f], though [name_m]Taye[/name_m] got freaked out by this picture so we had to tell him calmly and softly that the sonogram is not a ghost! 
Our family can be kinda cringey to the normal family, we’re not a picture-perfect cookie-cutter family. But it’s fun and it makes us bond much more, which I like! [name_f]My[/name_f] kiddos act that same way though they can be confused by some of the ways me and my siblings act. [name_m]Just[/name_m] ask my brother [name_m]Damien[/name_m], who turned 31 last week. He’s always been joking that he really wanted [name_m]Taye[/name_m] to be a fellow [name_f]Libra[/name_f] like him and he snarks we were trying to mess with him when [name_m]Taye[/name_m] was born a [name_m]Scorpio[/name_m]! [name_f]Happy[/name_f] [name_m]Scorpio[/name_m] season, any other Scorpios or [name_m]Scorpio[/name_m] kids enjoying the first day?! [name_m]Taye[/name_m] and [name_m]Damien[/name_m] have such a nice uncle-nephew bond.

HEY I’M BACK! Yep that’s right, I’m back to blogging, really happy and I’m glad I got [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] into this aha! Oscar’s been snarking that he can’t believe he did it but I know he enjoyed it. He’s now saying he can’t believe he enjoyed it and I know he means that truly lol. I don’t mind that she’s pregnant too honestly, because she’s “been there, done that”, while mine is still my first child. What’s crazy is that Michele’s pregnancy was cryptic, which wasn’t what she had last time. She only just found out last month that she’s unexpectedly carrying a second child. But her baby-to-be is healthy and her husband [name_m]Paul[/name_m] has been helping her along through this. I’m single via IVF, though I love having family and friends to support me. [name_m]Damien[/name_m] has been great with furnishing the nurseries, though I totally get that he’s definitely not interested in that now (even though he loves decor), sorry bro! His girlfriend seems cool, hope she doesn’t turn out like my evil ex, but she seems really wholesome for now! I have had some strange cravings but Damien’s cat [name_m]Fitz[/name_m] has even more than that aha!

Tahli is boho (like me), introverted, kind and genuine. she loves books and learning things, an absolute genius. she’s fluent in [name_f]English[/name_f] and Makaton (raised in those languages), she’s graduating highschool this year, fluent in Mandarin (second most common language here) and intermediate in Punjabi (3rd most common language here). After this, she’s going to finish studying Punjabi and get a job as a translator. she also loves cats but doesn’t have time for one, she prefers to study.
[name_f]Lexi[/name_f] is spunky, crazy, outgoing and energetic. she does get in trouble a lot at school but ultimately is a good friend, loyal to a fault and would do anything for her friends and family. she does have a bit of a temper though. she hates school as she is all about fun! lol!
