Eigh/ee, 3. naming kids outside of their nationality (ex. names with origins in nationalities of color on white kids), 4. naming a child something with a strongly negative connotation and claiming that you don’t think of that so it doesn’t matter (ie. [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m], Lilith), 5. ruining a lineage of names (the father is [name_m]Richard[/name_m] IV and you name the son something else)

Totally agree with the native names argument. There are so many beautiful names that people feel like they have to dumb down to fit in. I can and should learn to pronounce your name correctly and everyone else should too!

Adding unnecessary letters to make something look more masc/fem, word names with bad connotations (rage, tyranny, etc, I’ve actually seen these on people), names like [name_f]Chastity[/name_f], [name_f]Obedience[/name_f], etc, -leigh ending names (I always want to say it as lay, nothing wrong with it though), odd food names (a lot of them are ok, but [name_u]Dill[/name_u] and [name_u]Lemon[/name_u] are a bit too much for me)

You should move this to [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Names!! You could get more responses there!

a name trend, more a trend about names but I was struggling for a 5th!
