I think we’re gonna go with either [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] or [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. Not sure what middle name for them, any suggestions would be welcome. But what do you think of [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] and [name_f]Lux[/name_f]?
Neither [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] or [name_f]Lux[/name_f] are my style, but if I had to pick one, I would pick [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is like Luxurious, which I think is prime teasing material. [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] has nn [name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_u]Ali[/name_u], which I like.
I vastly prefer [name_f]Lux[/name_f] to [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]. [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] seems sort of dated, and bland (though I love it for a boy).

I think I like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] and [name_f]Lux[/name_f] equally, but [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is so much more distinctive. I’d go with [name_f]Lux[/name_f].
I’m kinda preferring [name_f]Lux[/name_f] but wasn’t sure if it was a little too unusual, I really hate the nicknames [name_u]Ali[/name_u] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u], another reason for preferring [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. I do like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] though but as it is, not shortened. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is cute!
I adore [name_f]Lux[/name_f] as a nickname, but I find it incomplete as a given name. It’s beautiful as a nickname for any of the [name_m]Luc[/name_m]- names (my favourite being [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f], but [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] & Lucianna are also cute). Not a fan of [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] at all, I don’t like any of the [name_u]Alex[/name_u]- names really, especially since I hate [name_u]Alex[/name_u].
The only [name_m]Luc[/name_m] name I like is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (really really like it) but my partner doesn’t and since we both have to like the name… 
[name_u]Alix[/name_u] would be my pick…it’s an ancient [name_m]French[/name_m] or [name_m]Norman[/name_m] name, probably a from of [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], but preferably for a boy w/the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] sounds like a marketing ploy. Or maybe a nn for [name_f]Lucrezia[/name_f].

Why don’t you use the name [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], and then call her [name_f]Lux[/name_f] as a nickname. That way she can choose what she wants to use when she gets older! I like [name_f]Lux[/name_f], I just see it as more of a nickname. good luck!
I just don’t think [name_f]Lux[/name_f] sounds like a full name. And if it is a full name, it sounds masculine to me. [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] is pretty 90s but I think its better than [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. She wouldn’t automatically get any particular nickname but if you don’t dictate which one is used, someone else may set one you dont like.

I saw on another post that someone wanted a opinion on the girl name [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. Someone pointed out that it rhymes with f***s. Gross, but true. She’ll definitely get teased on that. I actually didn’t hate the name [name_f]Lux[/name_f] till that point.

I think we’re going back to the drawing board… again! I still like [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] but i’m more than a little concerned about the nicknames that go with it now. My hope would be that if I didn’t use a nickname other people wouldn’t but I know it doesn’t always work like that.
