Getting closer to "the" name!

I posted a couple weeks ago and received a lot of really good advice. It actually changed the name conversation for us in many ways. Here is my first thread for reference:

The quick facts:

Last name: [name]Lee[/name]
Sibiling: [name]Lindsey[/name] [name]Nicole[/name]

So our top contenders now are:

[name]Teagan[/name]
[name]Allison[/name]
[name]Brooke[/name]
[name]Chelsea[/name]

With the conversation mostly in favor of the first two. My husband likes [name]Teagan[/name]. That’s his favorite. I don’t like that it is a little androgynous (just not my style) and there aren’t many options for nick names. I feel like [name]Allison[/name] (my favorite) stylistically matches [name]Lindsey[/name] better, and I love the nm [name]Allie[/name], but it is a little tricky with our last name [name]Lee[/name]. I do feel like nicknames aren’t often followed with the last name.

Any input? Any other ideas? I should add- My name is [name]Heather[/name] which is one that has been suggested as a sibling set for [name]Lindsey[/name] often.

I am really interested in more names that are feminine and match [name]Lindsey[/name] in era and style with cute nick name options like [name]Allison[/name].

Thanks Berries!

Some other suggestions, [name]Samantha[/name],[name]Whitney[/name], and [name]Olivia[/name]. I really like [name]Brooke[/name], its such a classic feel, but would use it more as a middle name with the last name [name]Lee[/name].

[name]Allison[/name] would be lovely with [name]Lindsay[/name]. You could call her [name]Sonny[/name]/[name]Sunny[/name] [name]Lee[/name].

[name]Candace[/name]
[name]April[/name]
[name]Danielle[/name]

[name]Kendra[/name]
[name]Erica[/name]

[name]Allison[/name] is my favorite followed by [name]Brook[/name], [name]Teagan[/name] and [name]Chelsey[/name], in that order. I think [name]Allison[/name] is a great name choice. I wouldn’t worry that the nickname rhymes with your last name. Like you said people don’t use nn and last names together much.

I am not a huge fan of [name]Teagan[/name], just because your other dauther’s name is so feminine and pretty, they don’t seem to go together. If I was a younger daughter named [name]Teagan[/name], I think I would be jealous that my sister got a pretty name and I didn’t.

[name]How[/name] about:

[name]Leah[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Melody[/name]

[name]Allison[/name] feels right to me too, he is close but not “quite sold yet”. Maybe a magical middle name is what’s needed.

Of your list I like [name]Allison[/name] and [name]Chelsea[/name] the best. Have you considered: [name]Christina[/name], [name]Hailey[/name] or [name]Natalie[/name]?

I like the suggestion of [name]Melody[/name].
I think these suggestions fit with [name]Lindsey[/name], but some may not have the nicknames you like. I will try to think of some middles for [name]Allison[/name]!

[name]Vanessa[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name]
[name]Sabrina[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Mariah[/name]
[name]Adrienne[/name]
[name]Miranda[/name]

Thank you so much everyone! We liked [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Lee[/name] until someone pointed out the “Puff the [name]Magic[/name] Dragon” reference! >.>

I’ll take a list to my husband to see if anything else piques his interest, but [name]Allison[/name] is still my favorite! I think I’ve become attached.

I personally love [name]Chelsea[/name] with [name]Lindsay[/name]! The names end in the same sound so that might be a turn off to some, but they both have the same feel to me. I’m not a huge fan of [name]Teagan[/name] at all. I’ve only known boys with the name and don’t really like it for either sex. [name]Allison[/name] is beautiful, but I agree that [name]Allie[/name] [name]Lee[/name] is a bit much. What about [name]Abigail[/name], nn [name]Abbie[/name]?

[name]Teagan[/name] [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Teagan[/name]! I love it. It sounds good with [name]Lindsey[/name]. [name]Allison[/name] is great too. Your two favorites are my two favorites haha. [name]Allie[/name] and [name]Lindsey[/name] is super freakin adorable though…Tough one! [name]Brooke[/name] is alright but [name]Chelsea[/name] is just kinda blah to me. And I strongly dislike the way it sounds with [name]Lindsey[/name]. It would be weird say something like, “Okay I’m going to pick up [name]Lindsey[/name] and [name]Chelsea[/name]!” Haha but I like your names and whatever you pick will be the perfect choice.

Thank you so much Berries! ^.^

With out last name, [name]Lee[/name], all [name]Bailey[/name], [name]Hailey[/name], [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Emily[/name] etc are out. Which killed my childhood baby name list except for [name]Lindsey[/name]. :stuck_out_tongue:
