most issues seem to have resolved! i’m still struggling to build polls and sometimes i’ll get an error when i try to post but otherwise the site is loads better than it has been!

For quite a while, I have been unable to edit the names of my lists. Adding text doesn’t work, nor does erasing. The name doesn’t change from the default no matter what I try, on my phone or computer.
Also, I can’t add names to lists. It’s very frustrating because I really liked being able to make lists.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to hop on here and let you know for a good few minutes on the main forum page, for some reason, all of the top 3 suggested posts under each category were posts that I had commented on from nov 23. and they had no new comments on them either, they were just old posts appearing as new posts. It was very odd.
Not sure if it’s just me, but voting on polls has been really laggy lately. Trying to scroll down or vote on anything in the quick poll thread is nearly impossible. I don’t have this issue while using any other threads or website functions, just that one thread and polls in general

Not too sure if this is a glitch, but if you look up “NAME Nameberry” on a browser, the description is often “NAME is the # ranked gender name by popularity”
However, it says this even if it’s untrue / not from this year. For example, Olivine’s description on the browser says “[name_f]Olivine[/name_f] is a girl’s name meaning “olive”. [name_f]Olivine[/name_f] is the 907 ranked female name by popularity.”
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though it hasn’t been ranked since 1883 (when it was actually ranked 907)

Good catch! I’ll inquire about that and see if it is anything on our end or if that’s a glitch with the search engine.

Confirmed that this is not our end but an unfortunate glitch with the way the browsers pull information for search results.

I’m so sorry to bother you again and again with the same problem but I am still unable to make any change to my lists’ titles. Anything new on this? I know @GeographyDragon had the same problem for a while, though I am unsure whether or not it was solved for her.
It’s becoming… quite a challenge to navigate through them.

I have been putting this on the team’s radar and hopefully this can be fixed asap!! Unfortunately I can’t do anything more on my end, but I’ll continue to keep bringing this up!

Idk if this is just me or not, but I’ve been getting consistent 429 errors every time I try to open the page. It took me five tries to log in and post this just now…

I’ve had similar, except mine comes up as a 505 error and Nameberry won’t load at all. It’s been okay today, but for the last couple of days, I’ve got the error multiple times and it just refused to load even though the internet and everything is all fine.

Adding to this, I’ve also had a lot of issues with ads blocking content recently to the point where I’ve been unable to use Nameberry on mobile for a few weeks now. It’s only an issue on mobile and looks just like the example above. I use Google!

@Kipperbo1 Hi! Weird glitch that I’m just running into today. I have an open draft for a new topic, but if I try to click on the “Open Draft” icon near the top right of the screen, it won’t open for me to edit. I can’t delete it to try to start over either, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies? Let me know if you still are having this problem after that!
I have! I’ll try again but I’ve also tried logging in and out and using different browsers.
Are you on mobile or computer, and what browsers have you tried?
