Glitches

I’ve tried it on mobile and computer and I’ve used Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Chrome

What happens if you go to your profile, go to “drafts”, and try to view it from there?

Oh I can open it there! [name_m]Perfect[/name_m], thank you! I’ve never tried that before but I’m glad it worked.

Yay, I’m glad that worked!!

NameBerry is becoming unusable for me again due to the pop-up ads just like the issues from only a few weeks ago.

I’m using NameBerry on my phone, so this might be different for those using the Forum on their laptops.

Is anyone else experiencing these glitches?

@SimiNova I get this on and off. It’s a pain. Sometimes it goes away if I refresh the page.

When I first tried to get on the site earlier today, I was unable to because I just kept getting the usual error messages (like the 505 (?) error and the too many requests one) so I gave up trying. A little while later, I tried to come on and got this error for the first time:

I normally use Samsung Internet on my phone, so I went to try Google Chrome to see if that would change anything. I tried signing in on Chrome, and was told there was an error with my account and I needed to contact an admin. I decided to try Samsung internet one last time before sending an email, and it gave me a too many requests error, but after refreshing once it let me use the forums again.
I’m not sure what happened, but it stressed me out for a good while today  so I figured I’d mention it here now that I was finally able to get back on! I know it says no further action was required, but I’ve never gotten this error before, and that combined with being told there was something wrong with my account had me in a panic :joy:

I wasn’t sure if there was a known reason why I’d get that error, or be told there’s something wrong with my account (I still can’t log into it on Chrome for this reason), but either way I figured it couldnt hurt to mention it here!

Sorry this got long  hope everyone’s having a wonderful day!

I have been unable to access the forums all day. I’ve been getting 502 errors and “too many requests” errors, as well as the same image that @regionlatbest included in her above post. Not sure if anyone else has been experiencing this, but I just wanted to note it! I use the Brave browser if that helps.

I also have been getting the 502 errors all day, with a lot of lag time getting pages to load. I use the [name_m]Brave[/name_m] browser, but tried to open Firefox on my laptop and it was having the same issues with a message at the top of the forum screen saying “due to increased traffic everyone is seeing this message” which I haven’t seen before

I reported this- thank you for the screenshots, that’s super helpful! I have an idea what this might be related to but will see what the team says.

Is anyone still having these issues today?

I haven’t had the above issue, but as of yesterday, using Nameberry on mobile, I am getting video ads that automatically full screen themselves without me clicking on them or anything. When I hit the X they retreat back into the corner, thankfully, but it’s making it difficult to use the site because I can be reading or typing and all of a sudden an ad randomly pops into full screen.

The video ads are a new thing we are trying out and are currently a work in progress! I’ll pass this note onto [name_f]Pam[/name_f].

Thank you!

Ads are over the content today :face_exhaling:

The site has been essentially unusable for me for about 24 hours. When I try to load the site, it takes ages and then doesn’t actually load, I just get a “502 Bad Gateway nginx” on the whole page. If it does eventually load, it takes forever to load any pages, and when I try to post, it goes back to that error page, or I get a smaller 502 Error box that pops up over what I’m typing.

Is there anything I need to do on my end that could help with this? [name_f]My[/name_f] internet connection is fine, and my computer itself isn’t being slow on other sites. I’m on Chrome on a computer.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone,
I’m really sorry the site has been so glitchy lately. We are working through a few kinks at the moment and it’s a work in progress. Hang in there, and again I’m really sorry for the inconveniences it’s causing!

This has been my experience as well. Slow to load and constant 502 errors all day yesterday and today. :frowning: It’s taken me fifteen minutes to post this comment.

Yeah it won’t even let me clear my draft or open it. Very glitchy

The site seems to finally be working again for me today, thankfully. Still a little slow, but back to being usable. I’m glad to know there’s a reason for the glitches, at least!
