yes, jude on a girl is so lovely
I donāt remember a post with which i would agree so much on this thread as this one. Literally 100
I love very feminine names on tomboys and rather masculine names on girly girls. Idk, I just like the contrast.
Yes I call my dad Papi too so [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] just seems weird too me as a name. But I also think itās cute
[name_u]Shane[/name_u] is such an adorable and cosy name and I will never understand the dislike it gets
the [name_f]Rebekah[/name_f] spelling is elite
100% agree
I feel like this will be controversial because itās a NB favourite, but Iām really not a fan of [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] (or alternative spellings) for any gender (sorry!)
It makes me think of that one awful youtuber, thatās why I dislike it.
This is the same scenario for me! My mom wouldnāt consider any name that was popular when she and my dad were kids when my sister and I were born because they were too common for her - our names ended up being in the top 100s when we were born!
I prefer Rebecca to Rebekah, but Bekah is SO much cuter than Becca.
the Rebekah spelling is elite
Oh, absolutely!
And Bex is the superior nn for all variations of Rebecca.
Iām really not a fan of Elliott
Me neither!
Shane is such an adorable and cosy name and I will never understand the dislike it gets
I just know to many and all of them are annoying, especially one in particular. He thinks heās smarter and better than me because he made a 100 on a science assignment last year and I made an 80.
He still holds it against, me, Claudie. You do not understand my frustration.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]. Hereās a reminder:
The world isnāt [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking. People speak a lot of other languages. And we, non-Anglophones, donāt consider how it sounds in [name_f]English[/name_f] when naming our kids. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like you donāt consider how the name sounds in Chinese or Swahili. Would be nice to remember this when making comments.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day

[name_u]Hendrix[/name_u] >>>> [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] (b) > [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] (g)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is so overrated
my lennon loving self has to disagree!!
lennon (g) >>> lennon (b) >>>>>>>> hendrix
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] is such a perfect name! and it means lover, which is the most perfect meaning too. I could talk for so long about how much I love [name_u]Lennon[/name_u].
and [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] & Shepherd!! theyāre perfect together!!
If weāre talking about musician names, Iāve always been partial to Lennox, Morrison, and Vaughan.
I agree. Itās lost any vintage charm due to being so common. People say it wonāt be dated due to being a classic, but at least in the US, it never ranked higher than #47 before 2000 (when it started to rise). That doesnāt seem very classic to me in the same sense [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] (despite its recent decline) are.
I prefer [name_f]Carla[/name_f].
