Hello Berries,

[name_f]My[/name_f] tiny toddler, [name_f]India[/name_f] (Indie), is going to be a big sister! You can read the origin of her name here: Baby Girl Arrived Earthside

So, we now need new names! We feel so strongly about Indie’s name meaning, but, we used all our special names on her so we need to find something new and beautiful for her little brother or sister.

Boys names we feel slightly less stuck on. Our shortlist is much the same as for [name_u]Indie[/name_u]:

With [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] as one middle name after my husband. The other middle name I’d like to also honour my bohemian/nature-vibe naming loves. I’ve suggested:

[name_u]Atlas[/name_u]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
But I’d love to hear other suggestions as naming boys certainly isn’t my strong point!

Girls names! Our top contender is
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] because we both love it. Potentially nickname of [name_f]Edie[/name_f] (are there any others?). [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] as my name is [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and it’s a nod to me. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] because I have loved it forever.

I’ve also suggested:
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (Pip/Juno)
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] (Winnie)
But husband isn’t keen at all. He’s suggested [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] (Bea) but I don’t like it personally. We’d love some other suggestions for girls names!

Other ways to get [name_f]Edie[/name_f] could be [name_f]Etta[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_u]Endellion[/name_u], [name_f]Edina[/name_f], or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

If your husband likes [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would appeal? It’s got the same sweet, spunky feel as [name_f]India[/name_f]. [name_u]Indie[/name_u] & [name_f]Trixie[/name_f] would be adorable!

Looking at your boys I really like [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] I feel like [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] has the right whimsical flair that feels fitting with [name_f]India[/name_f].

I think [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] has a great ring to it very handsome

Some other ideas could be [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_u]Quinlan[/name_u], Finley/Finnegan, [name_m]Samson[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] & [name_m]Otto[/name_m] I think these would all be fabulous first names. Concerning girls I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] Wren!! Honestly love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] she’s so fun, bright and has a whimsical edge. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is a lovely middle name very feminine and a great nod to yourself. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] has a great melodic sound. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] rounds the name of perfectly light, spirited and pretty. I love the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] could [name_f]Didi[/name_f] also work?

I think as the rest of your names neither of you are keen on I would scratch them you both want to love the name as much as you both love India’s name.

Funnily enough he really likes [name_m]Beaumont[/name_m] as a full name for [name_u]Beau[/name_u], with [name_u]Monty[/name_u] as another potential nickname. I wasn’t sure about [name_m]Beaumont[/name_m] but maybe I’ll reconsider. [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is also lovely.

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] has been on my list for a long time, but husband thinks it’s too fancy. I’ll work on it. I liked [name_f]Effie[/name_f] as a nickname. [name_f]Willodean[/name_f] is so unique! Indie’s middle is [name_u]Willow[/name_u] so we couldn’t get away with it but thanks for putting it forward as it’s lovely to hear! [name_u]Florence[/name_u] was also on our list but it’s top 10 here in the UK and, with us both having very common names, we don’t want them being “one of many” like we were in class.

I don’t think you need much help-you knocked it out of the park the first time and I adore your daughter’s name. [name_u]Indie[/name_u] is one of my favorite names as both nickname and on its own. [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] are all on my shortlist as well. I have no issues with [name_f]Edie[/name_f] and I think it’s fine with [name_u]Indie[/name_u], although a little matchy matchy. I think [name_u]Eden[/name_u] is really gorgeous n its own and love [name_u]Indie[/name_u] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] together

I think [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u] is beautiful! And also I see [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] working really well also. I don’t think you can go wrong.
