Is Wednesday really unusable?

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]! I would use it on a child for sure. I love [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams so I don’t find that negative. I know people named [name_f]Monday[/name_f] and [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] so why not [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]?

ETA: I just finished watching Addams family movie lol

Ha, not trying to compare my cat to a real child, but I just named my cat [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] for her Halloweeny face (in honor of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams). While the reference does obviously come to mind for me, I think [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is usable on people, too, though. For me, it evokes spunkiness, feistiness, independence, and some of that fresh [name_f]October[/name_f] chill.

I had it on my list when preggo with #1. Still love it.

I find it really odd that a person born on a [name_f]Monday[/name_f] can be named [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] and someone born in February named [name_u]January[/name_u]. All the calendar names baffle me.

Not a fan – using a month for a baby name is one thing but I think using a day of the week is just begging her to be tortured in elementary school. Unless you plan to call her [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] or something like that. In any case even if I endorsed using a week day as a name for a baby, [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] would be my last choice due to the connotation with [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams turning it into a goth, freaky name. Cute on cats, not on babies.
