- I think what matters most to me is that it’s a name a person can be at all phases of life and still feel interesting or refreshing.

- [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is the most meaningful name on my list. It’s my grandmother’s name and a portion of my other grand mother’s name.

- I think [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] probably conjures up the strongest image to me. I always just picture a little girl with brown hair curled up in a sunlit chair with a book.

This is an interesting question! I haven’t really thought about it, but it’s probably the meaning. If a name has a bad meaning, it immediately gets stricken at least from my usable list.

I haven’t done any real research into this like I know some people on here have, but of the ones I know… [name_u]Cecil[/name_u] (apparently had a two time great grandmother named this!) or DeLora (pronounced “dee-LOR-uh”; my own grandma 
) for girls & there honestly are no interesting boy names that I know of in my family tree (which is made up almost entirely of girls, lol). All the ones I know of are like [name_u]John[/name_u] and [name_m]Carl[/name_m] and [name_u]Jerry[/name_u] and [name_m]Raymond[/name_m], which just aren’t what I would consider “cool” since they’ve been so popular for so long.

And for boys, [name_u]Robin[/name_u] (from [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] the Pooh by A. A. Milne).
