[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there! Having a baby girl in [name_u]November[/name_u]. I know there are super strong opinions on using boy names for girls, but I’ve always liked it—no need to reply with “don’t name your girl a boy name,” bc I’ve already heard it. [name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for opinions on these two names for a baby girl. So here are the two my hubby and I are stuck between: Lanigan or [name_u]Leland[/name_u].
Brothers are [name_u]Grady[/name_u] and [name_u]Brecken[/name_u] if that helps! Thank you all!
I think [name_u]Grady[/name_u], [name_u]Brecken[/name_u], & [name_u]Leland[/name_u] would sound lovely together! Congratulations on your little girl!!
[name_u]Leland[/name_u] is my favorite and I think its nice for a girl.
Definitely [name_u]Leland[/name_u]! It has a lively and fun sound
I prefer Lanigan! I think the nickname Lani is really cute, and it’s a great option if she does decide that Lanigan is too masculine for her. Leland isn’t a bad choice, but I dislike the lack of nicknames.
Lanigan is so energetic and cool!
I really like both of them! I think with [name_u]Leland[/name_u] I would just end up pronouncing it as Lelynn, so maybe others might as well. I really love Lanigan
[name_u]Grady[/name_u], [name_u]Brecken[/name_u] + [name_u]Leland[/name_u]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u], [name_u]Brecken[/name_u] + Lanigan
I think [name_u]Leland[/name_u] “lele” is my fave! I’m not a fan of the repeating endings with [name_u]Brecken[/name_u] and Lanigan
Both are lovely, but I slightly prefer Lanigan
I like both but Lanigan is so cool! [name_u]Lannie[/name_u] would be such a cute nickname
I agree with [name_u]Leland[/name_u]!
[name_f]Lela[/name_f] or [name_f]Lele[/name_f] work!
I adore using boy’s names as girl’s names and frequently brainstorm options with my friends! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite of the two is [name_u]Leland[/name_u].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] Lanigan!!
Also, I love that you’re using a “boy name”. I have two sons and when/if I have a daughter I know someone will hate on a boy name.
Lanigan!
[name_u]Leland[/name_u] definitely of the two.
Lanigan is stunning and so unexpected! I literally adore it !!!
I would go with [name_u]Leland[/name_u] to match brother [name_u]Grady[/name_u] and [name_u]Brecken[/name_u]. Because I don’t know how to say Lanigan
[name_u]Leland[/name_u]!
I prefer [name_u]Leland[/name_u] and think it goes better with [name_u]Grady[/name_u] and [name_u]Brecken[/name_u].
