🫐 madison plays name guru to the berries

Hello, I’m coming back again! Feel free to ignore me if it’s too much, Madison

My husband and I are having our first child, and we do not know their sex yet! I’ve wanted children for as long as I can remember, and have always felt very maternal and drawn to positions in childcare. I worked as a nanny through grad-school and before that was a babysitter. I’ve followed gentle/respectful parenting in those jobs and plan to do so with my children. I find IVF and fertility a very interesting topic, and enjoy researching it in my free time, as strange as it sounds. At the moment, I work as a postpartum doula, but I have a degree in psychology and planned to become a perinatal and postpartum therapist, specifically for those dealing with PPD and PPA. I don’t plan on going back to work until this (and any subsequent) baby is in school full-time, but I’ve done newborn and childhood photography on the side since I was in school and will be continuing to do that until then!

I love reading (the book closest to my heart is A Court of Silver Flames) and romance, and am a hopeless romantic. My husband and I had a small wedding with only our closest friends and family members a few years back, it was super small and intimate and I think that reflects us a lot! Our house is from the Victorian era and is cozy and warm. We have a big back yard that leads to the woods and spend a lot of time outside together enjoying nature, as we live in the countryside. I’ve always leaned towards being stereotypically feminine and have wanted to be a SAHM since I was a teen, but I’m also an outspoken feminist and tend to be stubborn! I enjoy flowy skirts and bows, flowers, crocheting, impressionist paintings, traveling the world, and writing! I am introverted and only have a few close friends, I’ve always lived quietly and been a bit of a hermit! I enjoy the vintage cottagecore aesthetic. My husband and I have three cats and we hope to eventually get a dog and perhaps some ducks! I like the idea of homesteading, but it isn’t something I’ll probably pursue. I try to live mindfully and recycle and I want to keep this earth in the best condition possible. I’ve found my love of baking and cooking in adulthood. I enjoy watching ballet and figure skating. My favorite things include Monet, Hozier, children’s literature, romance, the stars, sunsets, pink tulips, making flower bouquets, spending time with my family, the season of fall, watching my favorite movies and reading my favorite books repeatedly, and thinking about motherhood.

So, Madison, if you’re playing name guru, what names would you predict for me?
