🫐 madison plays name guru to the berries

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I’m happy you’re here! (Your descriptions are always well done so there’s enough to grasp onto but also not specific enough that I have to narrow in to much.)

This started out pretty solid and then it … devolved into nonsense … so hopefully the brambles haven’t taken over.

This prediction was also influenced by a playlist that I thought was apt. Some of the songs included ā€˜We’re in Love’ (boygenius), ā€˜Work Song’ (Hozier), ā€˜When We Are Together’ (The 1975). Spotify loves to label my daylist like ā€œwhistful yearning thursday morningā€ lol. This playlist note isn’t directly related to the predictions but it felt important.

Okay! Back to the task at hand! The style I would predict is definitely, in a word, soft. In a few more words: cozy, warm, pastoral, thoughtful, autumnal.

I don’t foresee you picking something totally wild - at least as a first name. Clunky, yes. Uncommon, sure. But not fantastical because it might negate some of the homey qualities that you gravitate towards. The name will likely still be cute or noteworthy (not quite seeing [name_f]Mary[/name_f] or Elizabeth). I also think that you have a wide style range that would make you a good naming partner (not a naming pushover but willing to go in a few different directions). Like, I could see you going for [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_m]Theo[/name_m] as much as [name_m]Ernest[/name_m] & [name_m]Harold[/name_m]. Additionally, I might predict that you’d go for double middles. I think this would allow you more flexibility to include some quirky choices (e.g. [name_m]Silver[/name_m], Moss). I don’t typically include double middles in predictions but I’m throwing one in just for the sake of it.

Another angle I took was floriography! The language of flowers. I think you’d choose something thoughtful and this was a way for me (or me taking a turn in your brain) to include a natural element while adding some poetry to the pick. A few stand-outs that I wanted to explain out: [name_m]Moss[/name_m] as symbolism for ā€œmaternal love,ā€ [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f] as ā€œhome; love,ā€ [name_f]Viola[/name_f] for ā€œfaithfulness; rural happiness.ā€
