[name]Do[/name] you like any of those?

Thanks, ladies!

I like the idea of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Anais[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]… even [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lydia[/name].

I think my problem is that I’m stuck on [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name]. Maybe I should be asking what others think of that, haha. Could you see [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] being a sister to [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] or [name]Arianne[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Violet[/name] [name]Ophelia[/name]?

It seems quite perfect to me–sweet, girly, and [name]Eden[/name] has the religious significance I love. I heard this song one day a couple years ago (- YouTube) while I was searching for my [name]Charlotte[/name] combo, and it just seemed to click… I knew [name]Eden[/name] was the name, and it fits the shorter MN I’m looking for, and I genuinely love it with [name]Charlotte[/name], which is semi-miraculous for me. It does feel like it’s a different style from most of my list now, definitely not as feminine and definitely more trendy, but I still really like it, and it’s meaningful to me. I’m mainly worried about two things–is it too different from the other girly, almost frilly, middle names I have picked out for my other combos? And that elusive family name. Since [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Eden[/name], and [name]Richards[/name] are all two syllables, I really don’t want to use another two syllable MN. But I want that second MN to honor family.

Right now I’m thinking about:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rue[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] (maybe. I don’t like that [name]Noelle[/name] is two syllables but it nicely honors my sister and the “elle” emphasis gives the whole thing a bit of life that [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Richards[/name] doesn’t quite have)

Thoughts on those? Also, any [name]Christmas[/name]-themed girls’ names that aren’t two syllables? My sister and I both have at least one [name]Christmas[/name]-themed name in our full names (hers means “[name]Christmas[/name]” and my mn is a variation of [name]Mary[/name]), so I thought a [name]Christmas[/name] name would be a nice way to connect us. My favorites, though, all happen to be two syllables ([name]Noelle[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Winter[/name]…).

Thanks, ladies!

Oh my gosh, you’re like me. I love [name]Charlotte[/name] for myself, but I need to find the right middle name otherwise it’ll be my new middle name instead.

Combos I’ve come up with for myself:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Adriana[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Adriana[/name] [name]Noel[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ariana[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ariana[/name] [name]Noel[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Aviana[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Aviana[/name] [name]Noel[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Allegra[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Allegra[/name] [name]Noel[/name]

For a daughter:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Alexandrie[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Alena[/name]/[name]Elena[/name]

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Whitney[/name]

Also, I love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name].

[name]Natalia[/name]/[name]Natalya[/name]/[name]Natalie[/name] is a [name]Christmas[/name] name that’s not two syllables.
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Natalia[/name] is pretty.
Or even [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is pretty imo.

Well, [name]Natalie[/name] is my little sister’s name, actually. I like it but I’m not sure I love it enough to use it and much prefer [name]Noelle[/name] (or [name]Ivy[/name], or [name]Winter[/name]…) personally. Besides, [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Richards[/name] has always seemed too long (although it’s no longer than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Richards[/name]!).

I’m even up for more obscure references. I was thinking maybe [name]Gabrielle[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name], but I think those are much too long with [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name]. I was also thinking [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Snow[/name]… there’s something charming about it and I do like the reference to [name]Snow[/name] White… with [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] it sort of seems to work. But I never really thought I’d be one to get behind [name]Snow[/name] as a name, even though it is pretty.

Oh! Well look at that. lol.

Well, I do think that [name]Snow[/name] could really work. Especially since I’ve been watching Once Upon A Time.

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Snow[/name] sounds lovely! Especially with [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Grace[/name]! It’s so flawless the more I think about it.
If you still can’t get behind [name]Snow[/name], then maybe [name]Whitney[/name]? As in White from [name]Snow[/name] White. It’s only two syllables though, so that might nix it for you.

I like the name [name]Holly[/name], but again only two syllables.
Perhaps [name]Natasha[/name]? It’s a diminutive of [name]Natalia[/name] if that’s not too similar for you.
There’s also [name]Natania[/name], which is a form of [name]Nathaniel[/name] but it just feels so Christmasy to me.

I love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] but I thought you were done with it so I did not suggest it but I was really sad to see it go!! I really love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]

no, haha, I am still very much in love with [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name]… I just feel like it’s kind of mismatched, and it’s the one combo for girls that I seem to have trouble with all the time. I’m a bit torn, because my top three girls’ names honor my mom and grandmother (multiple times, lol), and the other two on my top 5 honor my dad and brother twice. [name]Rachel[/name]'s combo honors [name]Becca[/name], but I have nothing for [name]Natalie[/name] or my other grandmother. So maybe I should just do [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rue[/name], which I like, but I’m starting to like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Jane[/name] more. [name]Even[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]…

[name]How[/name] about [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name]? [name]Anastasia[/name] is a religious name, meaning “resurrection.” From your list, I like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name].

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Anna[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Maria[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Calliope[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Bethel[/name]

oooh [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] is delicious! Christmassy/Religeous ideas:

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]December[/name] (lonnng tho)
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Virginia[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] Israella
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Charity[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Star/name
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Gloria[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Bell[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name]/a
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Nicola[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Joy[/name]

I’m getting in the festive spirit a bit early now!

I’m glad you like it! I absolutely love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] but I keep getting this trendy vibe and I’m not sure where it’s coming from. Maybe just that it’s cutesier than something like [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I’m afraid I’m a bit picky about [name]Charlotte[/name] combos, haha. I sort of like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Charity[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Star[/name], but I’m not sure I would use either.

Right now my leading candidates are

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]

In no specific order.

What does everyone think of [name]Charlotte[/name] Esmee as opposed to [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name]?

I think [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is more trendy and cutesy than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] for sure!

I adore [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Noelle[/name].

[name]Charlotte[/name] Esmee is workable too, but I prefer [name]Eden[/name] over Esmee.

I love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Esme[/name] (spelled this way)! So pretty, and flows a little better than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name].

@east93 - really?! Because [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name], to me, isn’t cutesy at all (where do you get that from? Because I’ve fought hard to avoid cutesy…), and while [name]Isabelle[/name] is popular and so is [name]Grace[/name] (especially as a MN), [name]Isabelle[/name] has been around for centuries (if not a millenium), and [name]Grace[/name] has just as deep a history (not to mention being a family name, which is why it’s there). [name]Eden[/name] is unisex and has fairly quickly climbed the charts since the 1980s. [name]Eden[/name] seems like it’ll date a lot faster than [name]Isabelle[/name] will (which is where I’m guessing your problem stems from), and from what I understand, has a lot less history. I don’t mean to sound defensive, lol, I’m just flabbergasted by your comment, haha.

@kyemsma - I do like [name]Charlotte[/name] Esmee a lot! The OCD and French parts of me wouldn’t let me use the [name]Esme[/name] spelling, which is the unisex spelling in [name]France[/name]. I agree that it flows better than [name]Eden[/name], but [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name] has more meaning so I’m guessing that’ll ultimately get my vote. I still really like [name]Charlotte[/name] Esmee, though…

I agree with this completely! [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is way more trendy and cutesy than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eden[/name]!! [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is very beautiful don’t get me wrong I know how much you love it but still feels trendy and cutesy to me. [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] are very cutesy and princessy names and both seem very hip and trendy at the moment (I know of 5 baby Auroras and countless [name]Isabelle[/name]/Isabellas and actually 2 baby Graces as well). [name]Isabelle[/name] has seen a huge popularity spike in past several years and with [name]Isabella[/name] at number 1 it just feels trendy and cutesy to me. In some ways [name]Isabella[/name] actually seems less cutesy than [name]Isabelle[/name] though I am sure this makes no sense. [name]Charlotte[/name] is gaining more popularity but has been so consistently popular for the past hundred years that is does not seem trendy or cutesy at all to me. I would never label [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Eden[/name] for that matter as trendy or cutesy!! (I don’t know any Charlottes at all and the only [name]Eden[/name] I know is round 27 so it seems a lot more fresh and anti-trendy actually) I personally hate [name]Esme[/name]/Esmee as I am sure you know LOL but if you do use I would definitely use the [name]Esme[/name] spelling! Esmee might be more correct or feminine in French but it looks uber trendy to add the extra e, so if you are trying to avoid trendy and cutesy definitely ditch the extra e.
