  8. What name are you most unsure about and why? Blessing. I love it but I’m scared people will think I’m pretentious lol.
  9. What name would you use if you had a baby right now? Super tough one but I’d probably go with Brynn Magnolia.
  10. What name would you be most likely to recommend to an expectant parent? Winona. Spunky , sweet but still girly which lots of parents care about + the nickname Winnie.

right now, 81 for boys and 96 for girls!

what name has been on your list the longest?
um, not sure. maybe dorothy? i think alice has been on there for a while, and so has lola. for boys, it’s probably teddy!

what name is the newest name on your list?
willamette for girls and gibson for boys!

what’s your most popular name?
i used to keep track of this, but not anymore - i think it’s probably alice, mary, or jane.

what’s your least popular name?
hmm…i don’t think calpurnia showed up in the SSA data last year.

probably kitty frances.

asa canyon, maybe? i don’t think it has the same vibe as the rest of my boy names.

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] just doesn’t feel so right anymore, [name_u]Blair[/name_u] sounds beautiful when you say it and looks pretty too… just not so sure about it! With [name_f]Nora[/name_f], my fiancee loves it but it feels a little stiff.
  9. It would be very hard to pick. But my tops are [name_u]January[/name_u] or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

  6. I would say [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], nickname [name_u]Sully[/name_u]. It is a vintage name that doesn’t feel too rough or too feminine, with an adorable nickname that is short and sweet but again not too rough or too feminine.

  8. ^ [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], haha. [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] feels a bit too common and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] is starting to sound a little too masculine.

    — Elizabeth. As well as being my favorite, she’s very timeless and classic, which is the best definition of my style, I think.

    — Murphy. Very surname-y and unisex, but I just think that she’s adorable!

    — Amy :sob: I adore Amy March but her name is just so unexciting.

  1. How many names do you have? I don’t have a formal list other than my UC which I frequently forget to update, so I’m not sure!

  2. What name has been on your list the longest? Amelia, but it’s too popular for me to use.

  3. What name is the newest name on your list? Maybe Faolan? Though I more recently started liking Hester, I’m not sure it’s “on the list” yet.

  4. What’s your most popular name? Amelia & Noah. Or maybe Elizabeth for a girl, if we’re talking over time, but it’s a family name with a billion nicknames so I don’t care about the popularity there tbh.

  5. What’s your least popular name? Seurat, for a girl, as a middle. It has significant meaning to me, but I made a thread about it on here once and people were uncharacteristically rude and pretty much nearly ruined the name for me. :upside_down_face: I don’t have a lot of unpopular boy’s names on my list right now, so maybe Indigo, Faolan, Oleander or Lysander?

  6. What name most embodies your style? Colin or Cassandra, maybe?

  7. What name is the most unlike your style? Maybe Hayden or Kimberly?

  8. What name are you most unsure about and why? Colin. I have loved the name forever, but I have a distant relative with it and so it feels weird now. Also Alice, because it’s the former name of a friend (as in, the person is still my friend but that is not their name anymore).

I feel like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] & [name_u]Fox[/name_u] are my most out of leftfield names!
8. What name are you most unsure about and why?
Probably [name_u]Stacy[/name_u]! I really like it sometimes but then I think of the song “Stacy’s mom” and I’m not sure I could go through with it.

    [name_f]Leonor[/name_f]. I love the Spanish pronunciation but I don’t love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and find the spelling to look a little unbalanced.
    Also [name_f]Elinor[/name_f], which I really like but I’m not sure if I can see myself using it.

    Usually, my answer would be [name_f]Flora[/name_f] or [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] / [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
