i love researching names but idk i just feel like none of my combos are particularly creative or beautiful like a lot of other users on the site and that makes me feel a bit inadequate/sad sometimes

Oh yes, constantly, especially these days! 
There will be times such as this, but these things do indeed pass. I know how incredibly frustrating it can feel, but as someone coming out of “name block”, I can attest that it does get better eventually. 
I was given a lot of good advice from fellow Berries about how to pull myself out of it, and have come up with some ideas of my own, and now I’m beginning to find inspiration once more! So I have hope for you. 
I am prone to feeling the same way. But our names are beautiful, creative, special, and unique in their own ways. We must keep reminding ourselves of this fact! But I definitely get it, it is hard not to compare oneself to others.
Your names are meaningful to you, yes? That is all that matters, in my humble opinion. And for what its worth, I think your names are incredibly artistic, melodic, and packed with meaning! I mean, just look at the stunning combination you had me make a mood board for: Ayanna Glow! How inspired and gorgeous is she? Your names are perfect, I promise I know you may feel they are inadequate, but I think they’re very inspiring and truly beautiful, genuinely!
I can relate at times, and I know it’s cheesy, but self affirmation helps a lot! I know not what names you like, but I can say that no name is “basic”, that’s just such an awful descriptor people use to tear others down. Your names are so lovely, I hope you can see that and treasure them for the gems that they are.
Sorry if my words aren’t comforting, I am nursing a mild headache at the moment. But I wanted to try to reassure in any way that I could at the moment.

@phoebian - Never say this about yourself Augie! Never! I don’t really know you well but what I’ve seen of your names, works, and combos I really love. They are special and unique in their own way, regardless of what everyone else thinks.

I just realized today while looking at an old thread of mine that I accidentally STOLE my middle name idea from someone else’s combination! [name_f]My[/name_f] apologies to the creator (I do not know if they wish to be tagged) about “stealing” [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] Lupin(e), I swear that it was completely unintentional. It was such a lovely combination that I suppose it suck in my mind. I promise not to use your lovely combination! I’ve always had [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] on my list…so it just worked, I suppose. Back to the drawing board!
