like i don’t really post in the advice topics very much anymore, although i read all of them! i just either can’t think of any ways i can help, or my suggestion has already been said and i don’t want to be redundant! yet i’m always asking for help with combos, organizing my lists, etc. and i feel so bad

I just wanted to let you three know that your presence and contributions on Nameberry are so very welcome and appreciated. There is no “wrong” way to use the forums, as long as you’re being kind and respectful. 
I certainly don’t want you to feel pressured to post, because using Nameberry should be fun, not stressful, but please know that anything you post is a gift! I think that Nameberry has way less of a communal style than it once had. There are definitely certain names that are popular with most users, but we all have our own flair. For example, my own lists are a mix of vintage names, modern word names, and Colonial American names that most people absolutely despise. But I still post about my names, because they make me happy.
I hope this helps put you at ease, and know that if you want to post — regardless of what those posts look like — I’ll be happily reading each one, because all contributions are valid and valued. 
Your uplifting words do indeed help to put me at ease! Thank you ever so kindly for your never ending kind-heartedness and positivity on these forums. You are such a valuable member here, and I, and I’m sure many others, greatly appreciate you.

this is super random but… does anyone else read names out in different accents?
i grew up (and still do) speaking in an american accent to my friends and a british accent at home because my family is british. when i speak in my head it’s british. but… when i say the majority of names out loud to myself, it’s american?
but, of course there are some exceptions! for example, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is said with a posh british accent. [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] & [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are said with a strong southern american accent and [name_f]Tigerlily[/name_f] must be said australian! [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is said with my normal british accent - maybe because of the ‘r’ sound i think? i’m from the northwest and sometimes we kind of roll (for lack of a better word) our 'r’s, so ‘Caroline’ becomes ‘Cad-uh-line’, if you get what i mean!
i think this is because i grew up with lots of people who have different accents… but it’s interesting! 
oh [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] i saw this post right after you thoughtfully responded to my ‘quick questions’ question about [name_f]Tigerlily[/name_f] and i couldn’t believe you feel this way - you are a valuable addition to this sight and you have such a kind, helpful, genuine way about you!! don’t be harsh on yourself, even though it might be hard at times.

@mellona I’m not as active here as I used to be, but when I do get a chance to log on to the forums, I always look out for your posts. You’ve got such a lovely naming style and the names you share your love for have inspired me, and I’m sure many others as well!
