[name_u]Asher[/name_u] is #7 in my state!! It was #12 in 2019, and #25 in 2018. I expected it to be in the top 10 eventually, but not this quickly. :Sigh: I know, I shouldn’t let popularity deter me from using a name I love, but by the time I have kids it will be even higher. It’s such a beautiful name with a fantastic meaning, so I get why people love it. I just don’t want to become one of those names that is considered “overused” in the future. I had never heard the name until a girl I went to high school with used it maybe 5 years ago. Then, BAM! the name exploded. lol

I thought I figured out the best character name until I realized that first + last is [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] Fields. It works because it actually fits the character and she named herself but I’m just disappointed I didn’t realize it until now

I just found out that S/O’s been saying yes to names he likes without thinking about whether or not he’d use them, and apparently the list of ones he’d actually use is about 10 names long

Please, please, please, if you are going to be on camera saying a name, learn how to say it! I don’t care if it is the name of a person, town, plant or object… learn how to pronounce it before you say it.

I think I figured out why your lists are always 30+ names and mine are <10. When they’re not really listening, your partner always says yes and mine always says no

Stretch but [name_m]Jarvis[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jem[/name_u]? You’ll get the marvel ref in there at least  [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] could also go pretty well but not sure if that’s your thing
