I am not sure if anyone has done this type of name the class but here’s the idea. The first poster outlines the number of kids in the class and then describes the first child. The next poster will add a name and describe the next kid until the magic number is reached. Then it starts over again. You can note which number you’re at so it’s helpful for other posters (ex: 8/20)
Ex:
P1: there are 20 kids in Ms. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_m]Nelson[/name_m]’s class.
The first kid is a quiet girl who loves reading and has a few close friends.
The next kid is an outgoing boy who is sometimes a troublemaker
And so on and so forth.
I’ll start: There are 20 kids in Mrs [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_m]York[/name_m]’s class.
The first child is a girl who appears shy at first but eventually warms up and is a great friend.
Guide
Hi everyone! This post somewhat breaks up the format of the forum as I’ve realised looking back that things are probably a bit confusing for newer posters due to the lore now included in this game with the interconnected characters, settings and storylines - so I wanted to add a little guide everyone could read.
Locations
So far we’ve established 3 main locations within the game, two towns and one city, which is where our characters live and classes take place. I’ll just list them all so it’s clear where they are and how they differ!
St. James’s Marsh: an American town which is home to St. Paul’s High School and EastMarsh Academy, as well as multiple community centres for alternative classes. The private schools of Gregor Mendel’s Private Boy’s School and St. Veronica’s Academy are located on the outskirts, being singular gender and very prestigious.
Bainhurst: an American city which is the closest one to St. James’s Marsh. Home to Jennings-McGill School of Arts, and generally where people go for higher education upon graduating high school, if they’re interested in creative pursuits.
Redholm Lake: a town in England which is home to St. Mary’s Secondary School and close to the city of Liverpool. Has lots of local mysteries and legends, which are yet to be explored but I can’t wait to see happen!
Naming Siblings
Recently some of the frequent posters had a chat about naming their character’s siblings in posts and I wanted to include this again so we’ve all got the same amount of information :blush
whether you name siblings or not is an individual preference and there’s no requirement either way
if a character is introduced with their siblings named, those characters won’t be featured later on as new posts
if siblings aren’t named, it’s fair to assumed they can be introduced
when replying with a sibling, please leave the one’s not introduced yet unnamed so they can be included in the future, either by yourself or other posters
One Last Thing
if referring back to someone else’s character it’s good to include their description at the bottom of your post so everyone can have their minds refreshed! As no doubt my sieve brain will be confused and have to go on a search Unless they were posted very recently, then even I’ll have a clue!
The next student is a boy whose mom is [name_u]French[/name_u] and whose dad is Persian. He has warm brown eyes, loves to dance, and is welcoming to new students.
The 14th child is a boy who loves pets. He once brought his rat, Harry, to school and got in serious trouble. He is short-tempered and doesn’t always follow Miss York’s instructions.
Child number 15 is a boy who is extremely athletic. He plays every sport imaginable but sometimes slacks on his homework as he is extremely busy with sports.
Child 18 is a quiet, seemingly shy girl who’s the youngest in a very large family. She mostly keeps to herself, but is friendly, bright, and a talented athlete.
