The 11th student is a 24-year-old man and also part of the restaurant friends. He’s very pale skinned, tall, thin, and has a deep brown, but not dark, hair colour. He was adopted at infancy by two Belarusian-British parents and he supports his parents’ culture even if he opposes the side Belarus has taken, even if he’s not biologically Belarusian himself. He knows a few nice Belarusian-Brits outside his parents, especially his paternal cousin, who was a biological child of one of his adoptive’s aunt and uncle.
He’s joined the class to find more about himself however, learning on a DNA test that he is mostly of Ukrainian descent. He changed his middle name, which his old one he found “a basic filler middle”, into a middle name of Ukrainian origin. His first name is a standard name, his middle name is Ukrainian, and his last name is Belarusian. He has an inter-generational friendship with [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Bayley[/name_u] [name_m]Tan[/name_m], seeing the two are parents of two Ukrainian teenagers, and this student is considering the possibility of adopting Ukrainian children when he is ready. He is focusing on education at the moment because he is a very smart individual, but he’s donated and sponsored those in need at Ukraine.
He loves going whale watching, although his favourite part is seeing the dolphins. His most memorable time doing this was seeing two pink dolphins! This student has a female pet [name_f]Gila[/name_f] monster named [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]. He’s on great terms with [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_u]Yanni[/name_u] and is semi-aware of Yanni’s attraction to [name_f]Leni[/name_f]. He supports it but he agrees it’s best not to have an awkward teacher-student relationship (granted, he knows they’re the same age, but he’s never gotten the hype on students falling for teachers at all) and understands that [name_u]Yanni[/name_u] is focused on their education and finishing the class first, much like he is at deciding whether to adopt afterwards. Since joining the class, Ukrainian culture has become more important to him and he’s always searching for new stuff to learn about the country.
