Katrina ’ Katy’ Verily Goodridge (23) is an intern at FlagShip. She is the older sister of Linus, who was bullied at school for being bisexual and having effeminate qualities and dealing with the strain of his father and stepmother falsely believing his bisexuality was “just a phase”. This inspired her to become an intern for FlagShip to help keep others safe and strong. She thought she was straight for a long time despite having no serious relationships due to being “raised straight” but is currently questioning her sexuality and doesn’t know who she truly is attracted to. She adores pets and is more than happy with Cass’s moggy Marshmallow and credits Marshmallow with making FlagShip a more warm and open space. She didn’t know that Jessa was Cass’s mother at first and was shocked he was raised by her, but she never had a negative opinion about Cass and instead finds them very strong. Katy is considering a paid staff job after her internship ends because she loves FlagShip and can’t imagine leaving. She tends not to get involved in relationship gossip from the FlagShip residents but if she can help in any way with Cass and Raina, she’ll be willing to give it a shot.
