Ava [name_f]Carmina[/name_f]: This is really cute, but I’m not a huge fan of fns and mns that both end in the same sound. [name_f]Carmina[/name_f] is unexpected and stunning, but it kind of hides when paired with [name_f]Ava[/name_f], which sounds similar.
Beatrix [name_f]Colette[/name_f]: While [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] isn’t my favorite name, this combo is stunning! [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is soft and [name_u]French[/name_u], and balances out the harsh x sound of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], makes it feel very elegant and wearable.
Ruby [name_f]Salvatrix[/name_f]: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is understated and has great potential to be popular, but is still often overlooked. I adore it with [name_f]Salvatrix[/name_f], which I haven’t heard before, but I looked it up and apparently it has an NB page! It’s another harsher-sounding one, and while I wouldn’t choose it for a first name, it fills the middle spot nicely.
Willa [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]: [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your girls’ list! [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is beautiful, cute on a child and elegant on an adult, and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] in the middle makes it feel like a full combo, since sometimes [name_f]Willa[/name_f] can feel nickname-y. This is just wonderful!
Zoe [name_f]Luciana[/name_f]: [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] is really pretty, rare but familiar. [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is a little less rare, but I still almost never hear it! This combo is really very beautiful, and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is the perfect first choice for long, lyrical, [name_f]Luciana[/name_f].
Benjamin [name_m]Ford[/name_m]: This is probably my favorite from your boys’ list! [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] is such a classic, and it comes with a wealth of cute nicknames. [name_m]Ford[/name_m] is a nice surname-name, and it fits in the middle beautifully. This combo feels so timeless, I love it!
Daniel [name_m]Conlan[/name_m]: I adore Irish names. Like sooo much. So seeing [name_m]Conlan[/name_m] here just made me so happy! (It also means hero, which is pretty cool). [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is another classic boys name, rich with history but still feeling very modern, and I just love how this combo flows!!
Isaac [name_u]Francis[/name_u]: Normally, neither [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] nor [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is my favorite. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] sounds too harsh, and [name_u]Francis[/name_u] sounds too soft. However, when paired together, they sound incredible! I am such a fan of this combo, it makes both names feel very wearable.
Reuben [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]: [name_m]Just[/name_m] a personal taste thing, I don’t like [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]. The sandwich thing is just a little much for me. But this combo is great! The names flow so well, and they are each so distinct!
Zachary [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]: [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is pretty underused right now, and I feel it itching for a comeback! [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is a favorite of mine, and I like it a lot in the middle spot here. [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] feels like both a cute name on a little kid, and a polished and handsome name for an adult. Very nice!
Sunday Lane- Although it sounds a bit like a street, it’s so sweet!
Astra Maeve- I love the imagery!
Daisy Stella- This seems so sweet and fun.
Astrid Elodie- I think these names balance each other out well.
Charlotte Sophie- Nice enough, but I prefer Charlotte Sophia.
Florence Ivy- This seems distinctive and old fashioned.
Elio William- Very handsome!
Raphael Henry- This is strong and handsome.
Bastian Leo- I love this! It’s clever and handsome.
Atticus Clark- While not my style, this flows very well.
Cassian Nicholas- Very handsome. I love seeing Cassian used!
Thiago Laurence- I love this!
Whoever does my user card can just do the main section if it’s easier.
@almostactually
[name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]: I think this is my favorite from your user card! It’s wonderfully vintage, sweet yet spunky.
[name_u]Abilene[/name_u] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]: I love the alliterative combo. This feels very lacy, southern US.
[name_f]Isola[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: [name_f]Do[/name_f] you pronounce ee-zo-la or eye-so-la? This reminds me of the character in [name_f]Guernsey[/name_f] Literary and Potato [name_m]Peel[/name_m] Pie Society. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] goes well as a middle.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]: [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is so sweet, and [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] gives it gravitas.
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: I love [name_f]Dinah[/name_f] so much. I’ve never been big on [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but it’s a lovely complement to [name_f]Dinah[/name_f].
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m]: Very handsome, friendly sounding name.
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]: This reminds me of [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. Very rugged, boyish, western US sounding name.
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]: This would be adorable on a little boy. It’s very austere and “old man” in the most charming way possible.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u]: I don’t care for [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], but [name_u]Elias[/name_u] works well as a middle.
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]: [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your boys combos. [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
[name_u]Levi[/name_u] [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u]: Another friendly sounding name. I think of a sweet kid quick to befriend the new student in his class.
Sybil [name_f]Elena[/name_f]: These names feel very different to me, but they complement each other well.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: Gorgeous! [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is one of my favorites.
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]: Very soft and sweet.
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]: I don’t care for these two together. I think [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] needs something either very light (to balance it) or very intense (to enhance it) and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is kind of in between the two.
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]: I love both of these names separately, but not together. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] goes with just about anything as a middle. I would find a more distinctive middle name to enhance [name_f]Zelda[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] Perenelle: Gorgeous. Reminds me of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Pevensie[/name_u].
[name_m]Eben[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]: I love the alliteration in this combo. [name_m]Eben[/name_m] has such a gentle strength.
[name_u]Florian[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]: This is so elegant and knightly!
[name_m]Finnian[/name_m] [name_u]True[/name_u]: I don’t like [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] or [name_u]True[/name_u] on their own, but they work very well together.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Percival[/name_m]: This has the same elegance as [name_u]Florian[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. I would love to see brothers named [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_u]Florian[/name_u].
Claude [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]- [name_u]Claude[/name_u] is not my favorite. It sounds more masculine to me. [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] is a good balance for it.
[name_u]Maria[/name_u] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f]- I really like the alliteration in this name and both are very pretty. I haven’t heard [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] but I really like it.
[name_f]Janina[/name_f] Ljubica- [name_f]Janina[/name_f] is really pretty. I like it much better than [name_f]Janine[/name_f]. Ljubica has a nice sound. I had to look up it’s pronunciation and together they are kind of j heavy and both end with the a sound.
[name_f]Maite[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]- [name_f]Maite[/name_f] is nms. It reminds me of the alcoholic drink. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is nice as always and this is the spelling I prefer.
[name_f]Betsabe[/name_f] [name_f]Karolina[/name_f]- [name_f]Betsabe[/name_f] is cool. [name_f]Karolina[/name_f] is nms. I don’t really like the sound and I would prefer it with a c.
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f] [name_f]Itsaso[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Itsaso[/name_f] sounds super cool even though I haven’t heard it before. They balance each other well.
Caspian Emerald: nms but this is really handsome, definitely getting Slytherin vibes (in the best way)
Raven Adonis: can’t say I’m a fan of either name but the combo flows really well
Teddy Ambrose: I don’t think Teddy holds up well to your other names-feels a little insubstantial in comparison (and this coming from someone with a nickname name), however the flow is there and I really enjoy Ambrose
Elliot Draco: love Elliot and this spelling is ideal for me, this combo is a great way to honor what I would assume to be your favorite character
Julian Ransom: Julian is great, I find ransom a little difficult as a name-just reminds me of ransom note, maybe Julian Branson
Atticus Jupiter: nms again but this flow is fantastic and I think it sounds strong
Paris Kazimir: I don’t care for Paris as a name, I think I’d prefer Casimir spelling (has similar vibes to Ambrose imo- I think they’d make good brothers)
Finnick Apollo: nms but once again, the flow is very appealing
August Vale: this combo is sweet, handsome, and wearable in my opinion, a very successful pairing
Adelaide Wednesday: this flows nicely even if not my style, would probably age well
Lydia October: this reminds me super heavily of Beetlejuice (not sure if that was your inspo) and I like it a lot, October is fun in the middle
Adeline Blair: I’d normally pronounce this Line but I think Lynn works best with Blair which I love
Octavia Reign: this name kind of verges on fantasy for me, it’s kind of ethereal?, Reign is a really cool middle and I like the literary connection with fn too
Cordelia Quinn; love this, great sound and look, will age really well and would be a great sister to Adeline Blair
Victoria Hail: I like Victoria and theoretically could like Hail but as is it reminds me of Nazis…I’d do Victoria Hale
Juliette Lavender: I prefer simpler Juliet spelling, Lavender makes a really beautiful middle
Astoria Mystique: I’m from New York so Astoria doesn’t work for me but I like it for you, I don’t really watch superhero movies or anything but isn’t Mystique some sort of hero?, either way it’s the name of a boutique by me so I have trouble with it as a name
Lavinia Selene: I love how soft and flowy both of these names are, really gorgeous, feels like a deep purple to me

@acajou, thank you for your feedback!
I’m glad you like [name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]- she’s a favorite. I’m also happy to see some love for [name_f]Dinah[/name_f], and for alliteration.
I pronounce [name_f]Isola[/name_f] as either Eye-so-lah or Ee-zoh-la interchangably- I think I prefer the “Eye” pronunciation of the name because of the long I sound, but I also love the other pronunciation and pronounce the word that way. I do think of the character from the [name_f]Guernsey[/name_f] Literary and Potato [name_m]Peel[/name_m] Pie Society!
Lucy Perenelle does remind me of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Pevensie[/name_u] as well, and I like [name_u]Pevensie[/name_u] as a middle name in general!
Ida [name_f]Alice[/name_f]: this is nice, feels southern sweet, I do prefer [name_f]Ada[/name_f] to [name_f]Ida[/name_f] personally
Abilene [name_u]Anne[/name_u]: nms but I like the alliteration and think it flows well
Isola [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: not sure if it’s these times we’re living in but the fn is giving me isolation which I don’t love, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a great middle
Lily [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]: this is really nice, aesthetically pleasing , my fave of your combos
Dinah [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: nms but I really like it, very original but also still known, would be a great sister to [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
Simon [name_m]Leo[/name_m]: as a separate combo I prefer [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Simon[/name_m] but I think I’d like this with a last name attached
Jesse [name_u]Jude[/name_u]: [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] feels really dated to me and this combo reminds me of [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
Ira [name_m]John[/name_m]: I like [name_u]Ira[/name_u] a lot, I think this would fit in a [name_f]Lily[/name_f]/Dinah sibset
Gideon [name_u]Elias[/name_u]: handsome and will age really nicely, one of my favorites
Isaiah [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]: feels very religious to me, flow is immaculate
Levi [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u]: nms, I don’t love it but I think it works with your boy names in particular
Sybil [name_f]Elena[/name_f]: this combo is visually appealing to me, I’m not sure about flow from -il to el- but it’s nice anyway
Sylvia [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: this combo is nice, I think it would age nicely and wear well irl (I think you have this on your UC twice, FYI)
Leah [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]: nms but I’m coming around to marigold as a name, [name_f]Leah[/name_f] also seems dated to me the way [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is, I like the look and flow of the combo
Morwenna [name_f]Violet[/name_f]: I don’t find fn very wearable personally and I don’t really care for it, much prefer a violet which I would move to middle spot
Zelda [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]: this is really cool and again fits the known but unique theme, would work well as a sister to [name_f]Dinah[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] imo-they have similar vibes
Lucy Perenelle: I love the way a short name/long name combo looks, not a big fan of middle but it’s okay within combo
Eben [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]: this feels extremely religious to me, I think fn has potential to be misread/misheard/misspelled often as [name_u]Eden[/name_u] which I think I prefer in this combo
Florian [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]: this has a very grown up/professional sound to it but I can still imagine it on a kid, [name_f]Flori[/name_f] would be kind of cute as a nn
Finnian [name_u]True[/name_u]: [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] is nice, I really don’t care for true but doesn’t matter as much in middle, flows well
Edmund [name_m]Percival[/name_m]: this fits with [name_u]Florian[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] ([name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] would fit even better), feels different than most of your other combos
Ava [name_f]Carmina[/name_f] - Rhymey but nice, to me sounds a little clunky but I see the appeal of it
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] - Really like this one, I think it sounds awesome
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Salvatrix[/name_f] - A fan of [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] but [name_f]Salvatrix[/name_f] is nms
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Nms but a nice combo
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] - Nms but very spunky and sassy
Benjamin [name_m]Ford[/name_m] - Mature sounding, and [name_m]Benny[/name_m] or [name_m]Ben[/name_m] would make a good nickname imo
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Conlan[/name_m] - Like [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] but [name_m]Conlan[/name_m] sounds like a last name
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - Again, mature sounding, but I think [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is more modern-esque and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] gives a good balance to that
[name_m]Rueben[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] - Nms but I can see the appeal of it; overall nice combo
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] - More of a modern-esque sound, it’s nice
@SeaOfTea
Beatrice Marigold- I know Beatrice is a nameberry favorite but it just isn’t my style. It goes really well with Marigold though
Seamus Vagary- I’ve always loved the name Seamus. It makes me think of HP and the wrestler. I’ve never heard Vagary but it sounds cool.
Maurea Bree- Maurea is nms but I like it with Bree
Vaila Aberdeen- I have never heard Valia but I really like it. The flow is good here. Aberdeen is a town close to me but I have really good associations with the town so it could make a good name.
As far as words go I think Wayfinder, Stargazer, Moon and Serendipity could all make really cool names.
Caspian [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] - I love [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], and [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] makes it sound charming and mysterious!
Teddy [name_m]Adonis[/name_m] - I LOVE LOVE LOVE [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]! [name_m]Adonis[/name_m] is nms, but a nice name!
Elliot [name_m]Draco[/name_m] - Nms, and nmf either, sorry!
Julian [name_m]Ransom[/name_m] - [name_u]Julian[/name_u] has never been my favorite name, but it sounds very handsome and courteous!
Atticus [name_m]Jupiter[/name_m] - Nms and a touch harsh, but use it if you love it!
Paris [name_m]Kazimir[/name_m] - I don’t connect to this at all, if that makes any sense. It just seems super vague.
Finnick [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] - I prefer [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] (Finnick sounds like finnicky), but [name_m]Finnick[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] sounds bold and adventurous!
August [name_u]Vale[/name_u] - It’s okay. I’m pretty indifferent to [name_u]August[/name_u], and [name_u]Vale[/name_u] is a little odd to me.
Adelaide [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - This is darling! I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. Is [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] actually a nn for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], or is that just in the book? [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] has been growing on me lately. Good job!
Adeline [name_u]Blair[/name_u] - Eh, it’s okay. It doesn’t strike me as a great or terrible name.
Octavia [name_u]Reign[/name_u] - I much much prefer [name_f]Raine[/name_f] or even [name_u]Rain[/name_u]. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is nms.
Cordelia [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is nms, but [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is darling!
Victoria Hail - When I see Hail, it makes me think of “Hail Hitler” . [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is okay.
Juliette [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] - Nah. I don’t like either name, and I don’t understand their popularity on nameberry.
Astoria [name_f]Mystique[/name_f] - Sounds like a fantasy novel ! I prefer [name_u]Story[/name_u] to [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]. [name_f]Mystique[/name_f] sounds like you tried to cross [name_f]Mystery[/name_f], Mystic, and [name_u]Dominique[/name_u], none of which I like.
Lavinia [name_f]Selene[/name_f] - In complete honesty, this name sounds evil. I’m so sorry, but it’s true.
Lydia [name_f]October[/name_f] - Aww, cute!
Ichabod [name_u]Vale[/name_u] - Nah.
Willow [name_f]Alchemy[/name_f] - [name_u]Willow[/name_u] isn’t Halloweeny to me, and pairing it with a name like [name_f]Alchemy[/name_f] ruins it, sorry!
Jack [name_u]Neptune[/name_u] - Aw, I kind of like it!
Victor Angelus - Sorry!
Asteria [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - It’s okay.
Raven [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] - Ooh, charming! I like it a lot, though I’m not crazy about the individual names.
@winterdragon04 I love your list!
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] - this is stunning! It feels very well balanced! I love both names individually, and they work beautifully together!
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] - I don’t particularly care for [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] (it’s too frilly for me personally, and I tend to think of the horror film). However, this is a really sweet combo, and I can’t see anything objectively wrong with it!
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - this is really pretty! [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is a little hard for me to say, but [name_f]Faye[/name_f] really lightens up the overall sound of the combo!
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - this feels very old Hollywood to me! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is such a strong classic! I feel like [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is a bit too dull and dreary, and it leans a little masculine, but it still works as a middle name.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - I absolutely love the name [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and I’d probably love no matter what was in the middle! That said, [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] doesn’t excite me personally, but it’s still a sweet combo!
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] - this isn’t my style, but it’s really sweet! It has good flow and balance!
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f] [name_u]Ren[/name_u] - these aren’t my preferred spellings for these names, but I really like the flow!
[name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - while [name_u]Linden[/name_u] isn’t my style, this combo is beautiful! I think I remember seeing [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] on someone else’s list at one point, which is also lovely!
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_u]Saige[/name_u] - I really like [name_u]Willow[/name_u]! Such a sweet name! I feel like it might be a little much paired with [name_u]Saige[/name_u], but that’s just me! It still flows well!
[name_m]Finnian[/name_m] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] - ahhhh! I love this! Two of my favorite names, and they sound so wonderful together!
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Arrow[/name_u] - this is so cool! I get [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m], adventurer vibes from it!
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] - this is balanced so well, with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] sounding casual and down to earth and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] being quite romantic and formal! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] combo!
[name_u]London[/name_u] [name_u]Archer[/name_u] - very wordy, but I do like both names individually! It’s really nice seeing [name_u]London[/name_u] on a boy!
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - nice, strong classic! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] makes a great go-to middle name!
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - really nice!
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] - beautiful name!
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] - LOVE!
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] - like it more as a mn, but still nice!
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] - handsome, but with a soft side! Cool name!
[name_f]Araceli[/name_f] - nms, but not bad.
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] - love [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]! Very sweet!
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] - YESSS!
[name_f]Raine[/name_f] - I prefer [name_u]Rain[/name_u] or [name_f]Rayna[/name_f].
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] - nms, but a fine name.
Emma Lavender- This is so, so pretty! It’s gentle, feminine, and quietly familiar and unexpected! Probably my favorite of your girls.
Rose Madeleine- This seems very elegant and classic.
Anya Cosette- I know you love Anya, and Cosette balances it well visually.
Marie Autumn- This seems sweet and whimsical.
June Lilibeth- This has a lovely, lilting rhythm.
Clara Sonnet- Lovely and unexpected!
Laura Meadow- All of your names are so gentle and sweet! I love this almost as much as Emma Lavender.
Heidi Susannah- While Heidi is not a name I love, it pairs so well with Susannah!
April Florence- Prim and pretty!
Elise Cordelia- This feels like a fairy tale name.
Wesley Forest- So handsome! One of my favorites of your names.
August Brook- This does make me think of a brook in August, but the combination is very handsome.
Ethan Reed- This is nice!
Elliot Flynn- This feels like a perfect boy combination for the names that are on popular today.
Timothy Briar - This is nicely whimsical!
Philip Archer- While neither of these names are my favorites, they’re nice together.
Judah Caspian- This is probably my favorite for your boys. It feels fun and like it would grow with a boy, and I love both the names.
Levi Ambrose- While Ambrose isn’t my favorite, I love Levi, and Ambrose gives it some gravity.
Benjamin Sage- I love this! This is very well balanced and both names are sweet.
Daniel Faraday- I’ve never considered Faraday before, but it’s very nice in this combination!
Your user card is lovely!
Ida [name_f]Alice[/name_f]- It’s short and sweet, but this combo has beauty in simplicity. 6/10
Abilene [name_u]Anne[/name_u]- This is so cute! I really like the alliteration and it works really well here. [name_u]Abilene[/name_u] is beautiful and [name_u]Anne[/name_u] grounds it. 8/10
Isola [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]- I really like [name_f]Isola[/name_f] with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! They have a great flow and sound really well together. 5/10
Lily [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] - [name_f]Lily[/name_f] can seem really overused, but [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] really freshens it up. I would have never thought of this, they sound so awesome! 9/10
Dinah [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]- I really like [name_f]Dinah[/name_f]! I haven’t heard it much on this site. It’s really spunky and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] adds a sweet, feminine flair. 9/10
Simon [name_m]Leo[/name_m]- Simple and handsome, like [name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! I love the sound of the two names together. 8/10
Jesse [name_u]Jude[/name_u]- This feels very Southern to me. It would be a cute double barrel name! 7/10
Ira [name_m]John[/name_m]- This feels very “old man chic”. [name_u]Ira[/name_u] is so pretty! I think [name_m]John[/name_m] may be too simple of a middle here. 7/10
Gideon [name_u]Elias[/name_u]- I really like this! It’s such a soft combo. Both names are so pretty by themselves and even better together. 8/10
Isaiah [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]- WOW! I really like this! [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] go so well together and I love the pairing of a classic first name with a more unconventional middle. 10/10
Levi [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u]- This is nice! I’m not a huge fan of either name, but they sound nice together. 7/10
Thinking about:
Sybil [name_f]Elena[/name_f]- These feel very different stylistically to me, but they sound great together! 7/1p
Sylvia [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and think it goes well with pretty much everything, [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is pretty and I love the forest princess vibes! It doesn’t flow the greatest but that doesn’t matter as much. 9/10
Leah [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]- WOW! I love this! [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] really freshens up the classic and slightly dated [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. It feels like a whole new name! Gorgeous! 10/10
Morwenna [name_f]Violet[/name_f]- This feels very different from your other names and I don’t love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] with [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f]. 5/10
Zelda [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]- This also feels stylistically different from your other names, but not as much as [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. It’s softer and more classic-feeling. I love the zippy [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] with the delicate [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. 8/10
Lucy Perenelle- I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and Perenelle together! This combo sounds sophisticated and sweet. Perenelle is so pretty and unique. It always makes me think of Perenelle Flamel! 9/10
Eben [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]- I don’t love the alliteration here. Both names sound very similar to me. The flow is good! 6/10
Florian [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]- I love this! These names sound so handsome together, like a fairytale prince. 9/10
Finnian [name_u]True[/name_u]- I really like this! [name_u]True[/name_u] and [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] sound so strong together. This and [name_u]Florian[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] are a little stylistically different from your other names. 8/10
Edmund [name_m]Percival[/name_m]- This is so cute! It sounds really vintage and fits really well with your other names. 9/10
@Skyella_8 I know it’s been nine hours. I have nothing to say for myself. However: I really love your UC!
girls ~
Astoria Primrose Juliet ~
This is magical! I really like Astoria - it’s so magical, but so completely usable. I think Story is such a sweet, fairytale nickname as well. Primrose and Juliet are both very feminine, but I love them because they aren’t frilly, or saccharine. They’re elegant, charming, and sophisticated. All in all, this is such a beautiful combo!
Luna Calliope Stargazer ~
This has such a beautiful, astronomical feel. Luna is very pretty. though I’m tiring of it a little, but Calliope is stunning. However, I especially love Stargazer! I think the whole combo is absolutely magical. I think I would prefer Calliope Luna Stargazer, but that’s just because of how much I love Calliope.
Mary Larkspur Tallulah ~
Mary is kind of a GP for me - it’s so different to my normal style! However, I love it and I think it is very due a comeback. I really love Tallulah, too. It’s very sweet, and bouncy, but has the ability to sound glamorous and grown up! Larkspur isn’t really my thing, however, as much as I love adventurous nature names. Its mental image just clashes a little in my mind with the other two.
Juno Tuesday Marigold ~
I really love this! Juno has such charm and fun, and Marigold has some delightful vintage flair, but Tuesday is my absolute favourite part of this! It makes for such a fun middle name and perfectly balances the feel of the other two names.
Honorine Poet Astraea ~
This one is probably closest to “my style” and I love its drama. This has a magical, dark academia feel to me and I adore it! Honorine is mysterious, warm and dark, whilst Poet is such a lovely word name. Astraea is currently my number 4 girl name - it’s so magical and sweet. I really adore this combo!
boys ~
Wilder Foxglove Oleander ~
I honestly think this makes for a stunning unisex combo! I might slightly prefer Wilde to Wilder, but the spirit is the same and it’s so full of adventure. There’s kind of a double-down on the poisonous plants for the middles, but I don’t mind. Foxglove is heavily underrated, and Oleander has such whimsy and charm.
Caspian Gray Evander ~
I (like everyone else on NB) really love Caspian, and Evander is so enchanting. However, Gray doesn’t really do it for me. In my mind, I struggle to connect it with that same enchanting, magical feel of your other names, and it feels a little high-school-jock (which is a perfectly valid aesthetic, just not the one I feel you were going for).
Stellan Aster Galanthus ~
Well, I’m in love! This is so astronomical, and I can’t find a fault with it. Stellan is astronomical, but somehow feels familiar (I say somehow, I mean Stellan Starsgard, but that’s not a bad thing). I really love to see Aster on a boy, and Galanthus is the perfect flavour of heavy: it’s magical, and powerful.
unisex ~
August Juniper Rain ~
I really love August: it balances out vintage, historic, and naturey really well, to make a very sweet, soft-sounding name (in spite of the meaning!). Juniper is sweet, and I objectively like it, but something about its sound doesn’t quite do it for me. I really like this combo, but it doesn’t light that match inside my heart that so many of your combos do.
Peregrine Quill Celandine ~
I have never seen anyone else like Celandine! It’s been on my list forever, and it’s very exciting to see it receive some love. I especially love it in a French accent (which I don’t have, but it’s fun to pretend). I like seeing Peregrine recognised as a unisex name. It seems so magical on a little girl! Quill is just lovely, and I love all literary connections in names.
Viridian Lux Fable ~
I really love all of the names in this combo. Viridian is so rich and emerald (though I must admit, O might just prefer Viridis!), and Lux and Fable are so charming. I really love Lux, especially, for the magical quality to it. My only problem with it is that it’s slightly awkward in terms of the flow. Still lovely, though!
Sorrel Aspen January ~
I really love to see Sorrel getting some love! Aspen is very pretty too, and whilst the names do pair very nicely together, I get slightly granola bar vibes. January is perfect here, but very associated with January Jones, so it has a less enchanting vibe. All in all, very nice, but not as magical.
Kit November Hazel ~
Oh, this is lovely! November is another month name that I absolutely adore (I have a real thing for ‘time’ names) and Hazel makes the whole combo so warm and charming. Kit is one of those names that I get very excited to see on a human!

A tiny door in a big tree, a painted portrait, an old library or indie bookshop, telling a secret, a smudge of salmon-red paint
Note: We have very different styles, so know that ahead of time!
Aurembiaix Phaedra Sonnet - This is giving me vibes of little girls dressing up with their grandma’s jewelry. It’s a really pretty combo!
Persephone Freyja Nyx - None of these names are my favorite. I don’t really like per- names, and Freyja and Nyx just aren’t great imo.
Artemisia Thisbe October - October has really been growing on me lately! The other two names are okay, and I’m getting fairy and dragon vibes from this combo.
Ariadne Eos Hummingbird - Hummingbird seems out of place here. It just throws it off. None of the names are my style, but that said, it’s a pretty combo!
Circe Endellion Fable - I like this combo! Endellion sounds so majestic, and the others are pretty and playful! Fantastic job.
Valkyrie Sappho Wilderose - The first two names sound sort of dark to me, while Wilderose is springy and gentle. It just doesn’t go, imo.
Andromeda Hecate Blue - The first two names sound very old-lady to me. I feel like Blue was just thrown on there to make Andromeda be a little girl.
Guinevere Medea Fox - Fox is cute on a girl, and it fits your second-middle style, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, Guinevere sounds dated to me, and Medea is just media to me.
Helisent Isolde Morrigan - Helisent, to me, is “H*** is sent,” Isolde is “I sold,” and I just don’t like Morrigan very much.
Poesy Nimue Elsinore - Poesy, in my opinion, should be spelled Posey (But it’s a cute name for you!). I think it would be too confusing the other way. However, I know where you’re coming from, because I prefer less common spelling of some names (Ren, Lillie, Raine, & Saige, for example). Nimue just sounds strange to me, and Elsinore is like you’re mispronouncing Eleanor.
Ferelith Boudicca Tempest - I’m sorry in advance, but this whole name is really cringy to me. Boudicca sounds like a sumo wrestler (thats just what came to mind!), and Tempest sounds like Tempt.
Cleocharia Merope Bluebird - Just Cleo. I think Cleo Merope Bluebird would be much better. In complete honesty, I’m not liking Merope (all I get is mop), but Bluebird is adorable for you!
Ronan Leander Oberon - Leander just sounds like meander imo. Oberon and Ronan are fine, just not my style.
Caspian Aurelius Moss - This is a nice combo! I love Caspian so much, and Aurelius and Moss are both cool names, even though they’re nms.
Mercury Finnegan August - I’m neutral towards August and Finnegan, and I’m not sure about Mercury. It could be cool, but I don’t know how usable it is.
Lucien Hawthorne Quill - I think this is just a bit much. Lucien sounds like Lucifer, and the -thorne part of Hawthorne followed by quill is over-the-top.
Dorian Lysander Frost - Dorian sounds like a fish to me (probably because of Dory from Finding Nemo). Lysander Frost is just a little harsh to me, and I don’t care for either name.
Carnelian Laszlo Percival - I’m sorry, I really just don’t care for any of the names in this combo. That’s just a personal preference, of course. Carnelian sounds like Caramel, for some reason. The others just sound odd to me.
Amalia Skye “Mali”: So beautiful! I love Amalia (especially pronounced “uh-mall-ee-uh”) and Skye is so simple and pretty next to it. Love the beachy imagery it’s giving me. And I’ve always thought Mali was an underrated gem, glad to see it getting some love!
Annabelle Hope “Belle”: Classically beautiful. You just can’t go wrong with Annabelle or Hope! They’ve both been on my list but have eventually been taken off just because I like other names more. This combo is wonderful, though, no complaints!
Aurora Faye “Rory”: I used to love Aurora but now it just sounds kinda repetitive. Faye is a really good name to pair with it, though, as it’s short and simple and sweet. I think it compliments Aurora really well! Rory is so tomboyish, which I love.
Charlotte Grey “Charlie”: Neither of these names are my thing, but I think they go really well together! This combo brings to mind pictures of an English tea party, which is so nice, I kind of love the combo just for that. I’m not a big fan of Charlie on a girl, but it’s tomboyish too and kinda sweet which always plusses.
Clara Lucy: This is my least favorite so far. The flow is off, imo, because of the L’s. Beyond that, though, I think the names are beautiful together and I love them both! If I may, I think Lucy Clara would sound much better flow wise.
Ivy Belle: This sounds like a sweet southern belle, which is just so wonderful! I love it! Ivy has never been a name I like, but next to Belle it becomes southern and kinda pretty. Love the flow in this one, too!
Lillie Ren: Absolutely love this one! It instantly reminds me of a “Jenny Wren”, and I kinda love the bird association (even though it’s spelled Ren not Wren). The flow is wonderful and the names really go together!
Linden Rose: I’m starting to warm up to Linden on a girl, I think, maybe just with the right middle. I love the flow of this combo, it’s flawless. Linden and Rose together feel a little off in my book but not in a major way at all. Linden being a tree and Rose being a flower, it kind of throws me a little, but since lindens aren’t a well known kind of tree, it really doesn’t bother me that much.
Willow Saige: Again with the two nature names next to each other. It just kinda seems like a no-no in my book. I do really like the flow of this, and both names (absolutely love Saige!), though. Other than there being two nature names, which just seems a bit off to me, I like the combo.
—
Finnian Judah “Finn”: I don’t know what it is about the flow of this, but something just feels off. I think I might prefer Finnian Jude. Finnian is so handsome and Finn freshens it up, which is just wonderful! Judah has always been a hit or miss for me in combos, and like I said, I think it’s a miss here.
Gideon Arrow: The flow of this is okay, not quite good, but okay. I love Gideon, btw! I think the names go hand in hand because of Gideon’s meaning and who he was in the Bible. It’s kinda brilliant in that way!
Leo Edmund: I’m not a fan of Leo, but I think it works here. It freshens up the combo so it’s not just straight classic (not that that’s bad). I like it! I also love Edmund, btw!!
London Archer: This is too descriptive for me, with London seeming to be an adjective because it’s in front of Archer which is usually a noun. I do love London on a boy, though. It’s so fresh and cool! The flow is also rather great.
Theodore Henry “Teddy”: Here’s a straight classic! I love Theodore, although I don’t love Henry or Teddy. Henry fits with Theodore well, though. The flow here is really nice, too. Everything about this combo is very clean cut, which is a nice image.
Considering or needing a combo
Felicity: Beautiful!! One of my first name crushes! Suggestions: Felicity Snow, Felicity Laine, Felicity Paige, Felicity Jane.
Helena: This one I’m pretty neutral on. I don’t have any strong feelings on it in any direction. Suggestions: Helena Rae, Helena Olive, Helena Quinn.
Heidi: Absolutely love! If I didn’t have a long-time friend named this, it would absolutely be on my list. Suggestions: Heidi Snow (this would absolutely perfect, imo!!), Heidi Pearl (another fav of mine!), Heidi Mae, Heidi Hope.
Autumn: I quite like this one. I can’t use because it’s one of my cousin’s names, but I think it’s really nice. Suggestions: Autumn Renee, Autumn Esther, Autumn Leigh.
Cyrus: I don’t even really like this on a boy, so it just loses everything it has going for it in my mind when it’s put on a girl. Shortly, I’m not a fan. Suggestions: Cyrus Hannah, Cyrus Opal, Cyrus Mikayla.
Araceli: This is so beautiful!! I don’t have the courage to ever actually use it, but it’s just pure
. Suggestions: Araceli Violet, Araceli June, Araceli Kaye / Kay.
Ruth: This is one my favorites! It’s been on my list for a while and I just love it! Suggestions: Ruth Evelyn, Ruth Evelina, Ruth Evalaine, Ruth Annabelle.
Miriam: So sweet and nice! I’ve always quite liked it. Suggestions: Miriam Jane, Miriam Jean, Miriam Delaney.
Raine: I’m pretty neutral on this name, I’ve never had many thoughts on it. Suggestions: Raine Olivia, Raine Marceline, Raine Liliana.
Annika: This has a pretty sound to it, but it’s never been one that I’ve thought much of. Suggestions: Annika Beth, Annika Rue, Annika Josette.
Elias: I love this one! I’m not sold on ever using it, but I think it’s so handsome and fresh! Suggestions: Elias Tobin, Elias Adam, Elias Valor.
Caspian: I also love this one! It has big Narnia connections for me, which makes me love it even more. Again, not sold on ever using it, but I do think it’s a wonderful name. Suggestions: Caspian Kit, Caspian Wyatt, Caspian Arthur.
(Sorry this took so long, @winterdragon04, but its done now! )
@winterara, sorry to be impatient, but are you done? I’m excited to see you opinions!
@winterdragon04 I’m working on it. Should be done soon!

Unfortunately, I can only associate the name Ezra with one of the supporting characters from PLL. I also knew an awful Ezra a few years ago. It’s a shame, I used to adore this name- it was right at the top of my list, but associations have destroyed it for me. Please don’t let this deter you at all obviously, it’s, objectively, a stunning name. Maybe one day I’ll get over the associations! Walton is very elegant. I usually dislike ‘W’ names, but Walton is most certainly one of the better ones! It reminds me of ‘Where’s Wally?’ Which is a good thing- loved that game/book as a kid.
𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐲𝐧𝐧
This combination is gorgeous. You already know how I feel about Jeremiah (look at my UC!) This name is so versatile with wonderful connotations. It has a wide range of nickname options- Jem, Remy, Jimmy, Miah… And I’m sure more could be found. Not that it’s really needed, the name is lovely on its own. The much shorter and unisex ‘Lynn’ really balances the name out and is very sweet. I see it’s an honor name- a wonderful choice!
𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬
Isaiah, in my eyes, is quite similar to Jeremiah. So obviously I really like it! I’m a fan of the imagery and the biblical associations for this name- I’m not sure if you’re a person of faith or not, but either way, the associations are positive for most people. Francis is an honor name for me as well, been in the family for generations and I’d love to use it. I slightly prefer it on a girl, but it looks delightful in this combo.
𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧
I don’t love Kurtis, personally. Maybe associations again. Sorry! Associations make a massive difference to me. I think I just struggle to see it on a child, however, it works in adulthood, and people are adults for most of their life. This combination feels slightly unnatural to me. You already have my opinion on Walton, so I won’t repeat it.
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬
I like Theodore, especially with the nickname Theo. It feels classic, vintage, and familiar. It’s very popular where I live though- I’ve met at least 5 in the last 5 years, however, popularity may not put you off, or it may not be as well-loved where you are. You already know my opinion on Walton! I prefer Isaiah Francis as an overall combination, but this is lovely too.
𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧
Elliott is cool! I’m quite a fan of unisex names like this, and I wish they were more widespread. I see both Elliott and Carlton as more of surnames than first names, but that’s fine. I don’t love Carlton because it just seems like a variation of ‘Carl’ which I am not too fond of, but I do enjoy Elliott and it works in this combination.
𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐜 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦
Love love love Isaac! William, less so. I can’t give an objective statement on William for personal reasons, so I’ll avoid it, sorry. I don’t LOVE the flow of this combination, but it works fine. Isaac, however, is a timeless, underrated beauty. It’s well-loved, but I hardly ever see it on little boys nowadays. I wish it was used more, and I would love to meet a baby named Isaac. There’s one Isaac in my high school, and he’s 17- the only Isaac I’ve met in my whole life!

𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐲𝐧𝐧
Lynn returns! I love to see it. As I said, Lynn is lovely on both genders and is an absolute beauty in this combination. I’m also a fan of Jo- names (one of my favorites is Josephine) so I appreciate this combination. I don’t have much to say except that it is really nice! Overall, it isn’t my #1 favorite of your set, but I do really love it and think it would make a wonderful name for a little girl.
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐨
I prefer Jo in full names, however, I can see that this is an honor name so totally understandable that you wouldn’t want to change this! This name evokes imagery of a very pretty, elegant Southern Belle type girl. I love that! I’m not a fan of Ellen but I’m a big fan of Mary, so Maryellen gets a pass from me. Maryellen Jo has excellent flow! (Hah, that rhymed.)
𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜e𝐬
This is a name for a princess! Evangeline is so elegant and I picture royalty. Eva is one of my top girl names, so naturally, I love Evangeline too, especially when shortened to Eve or Eva (although I know most people don’t like to do this.) You already know my opinion on Francis/Frances!
𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬 𝐉𝐨
I always have a hard time spelling/pronouncing Amaryllis for some reason. I guess it’s quite unnatural looking, however, once I do manage to sound it out and write it down, it’s lovely! I prefer the flow of Maryellen Jo but this flow isn’t bad- none of your names have bad flow by any stretch. You already have my opinion on Jo.
𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬
Unfortunately, Tallulah doesn’t sound right to me. There’s nothing wrong with the name, or any negative associations- the combination of sounds just aren’t my thing. You already have my take on Frances. It works okay in this combination.
𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞
Mercy is lovely! I’ve seen it gain a bit of popularity on Nameberry recently which I’m happy about- it deserves recognition for sure. Mercy Arlene has a very nice flow! Arlene is not my style, but I do like the “lene” sound so it gets a pass.
𝐄𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐨
Another name with Southern Belle vibes if you ask me! I really appreciate the simplicity of this name. I see so many names that just feel over-the-top and elaborate nowadays so Elsie Jo is a breath of fresh air. Elsie ages very well in my opinion, as it sounds adorable on a baby and elegant on an adult. Elsie Jo has great flow, and you already have my opinion on Jo.
𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚
I’ve found it hard to make comments on an honor name- in my opinion, if a name is honoring someone meaningful, it is already perfect. However, Josephine is one of my absolute favorite names and has such elegance and beauty. Unfortunately, I dislike the name Josie (a lot), which is why I have it in the middle name position on my UC. I prefer the spelling Deana, however, DeAnna is nice too! Works well with Josephine.
