Alice Marigold Poet - Love it, I am a bit of a sucker for ‘Alice Marigold’! I do think Poem or Sonnet would flow a little better.
Avalon Philomena Gray - I’ve never really loved Avalon, but it’s perfectly fine as a name. Philomena is lovely. Gray is ok, but personally I think it doesn’t quite work here, I’d use Fae or something similar just to keep that fantasy vibe going.
Bernadette Ophelia Hero ‘Birdie’ - Oh I love this! Bernadette nn Birdie is adorable. Ophelia is cool and Hero really rounds out the name - sturdy but cute!
Daisy Aurelia Meadow - Darling! I love the summer feel of it.
Elodie Solange Clover - I still don’t really love Solange, but it works. Clover is a very cool second middle, it’s a nicely balanced name.
Lucille Eilonwy Grace - I have a feeling I suggested Lucille here the last time I reviewed your signature. I think I’m just not a fan of most full ‘Luc’ names, Eilonwy Grace is absolutely stunning though.
Janella Sunflower Joy ‘Nella’ - Sunflower Joy is amazing, and I love the nn Nella, but I don’t love Janella. I knew a Nella whose name was Nelefa, although her family was from the Middle East so it may not be appropriate for you. I think there are nicer names to get Nella from, but I can’t think of any right now, sorry!
Minette Felicity Lark - Gorgeous! I loved it last time too. I do also like Mignonette, but Minette is lovely. I have Marinette in my long name list, you might like that.
Willabelle Roseline Song - Rosaline Song is lovely. Willabelle feels like it’s trying really hard though, I’m not sure what other name to suggest that has the same sorts of sound though.

Aldwyn Sylvester Moon - Aldwyn is really cool! I’m a little sad to see Edwin go but Aldwyn is a great replacement for it! Sylvester Moon is still really cool.
Emrys Caspian Novel - Still a bit too on the nose for me. I think they’d be better off spread between other combos.
Ferris Elyan Rook - Ferris is fine, I prefer Forrest. Elyan Rook is cool! I still slightly prefer the Elian spelling, but Elyan is also great.
Jasper Isidore Cove ‘Jay’ - I don’t really love the flow of Jasper Isidore, but it’s not a deal breaker. Jay is a fun nickname. Cove is cool.
Kit Austell Robin - I do think Kit Robin Austell would flow better. Austell is so interesting, it’s almost like Estelle but with a very alternative spelling, I really like it for a boy.
Laurence Kay Valiant ‘Laurie’ - Love it! Laurie is a super cute nickname and Laurence is very handsome. If I had one gripe it would be that it sounds like you’re saying Laurence K. Valiant, so I don’t know if I like Kay in the middle spot, it feels more nickname-y to me.
Nathaniel Conan Blue ‘Nat’ - I love Nathaniel and Blue, but I’m not so keen on Conan. What do you think about Ronan?
Riordan Xavier Night ‘Rhian’ - Very cool! Personally I’m not supper into the nn Rhian, but I do like it as just name it it makes sense as a nn for Riordan, so definitely not a deal breaker.

@Maerad

I love your style!
Alice Marigold is lovely! I’m definitely adding Marigold to my middle name list, because it flows so nicely with so many names! Alice is so classic, so the balance of this combo works really well!
Lucas Avery is so handsome! Sweet for a little boy, but masculine enough for a grown man. The flow of this combo is perfect!
Eliza Lily: feels a bit strong on the “L” and “ee” sounds to me. Perhaps a different floral/nature name for the middle? Rose, Daisy, Dove, Cove, Sage, June…
George Sebastian may be my favorite from your list! So handsome and strong! Sebastian is also going on my middle name list! Love!

@may.rose
1. In general, do you like the previous poster’s taste in girl’s or boy’s names better?
I like you boy names the best!

2. What are your three favorites of their girls and boys, firsts, and/or first middles [and second middles]?
| Freya | Anya | Skye | Elowen | Bellerose | Edelweiss |
| Judah | Ethan | Levi | Bear | Cole | Emrys |

3. Use the answers to question 2 to make combos.
Freya Bellerose, Anya Edelweiss, Elowen Skye
Judah Cole, Emrys Levi, Ethan Bear

4. What’s your favorite of their girls and boys names? Least favorite? What do or don’t you like about them?
Favorite: Freya Sage is my favorite! And in close second June Edelwiess! I like the classic firsts with the unique, nature middle names. Timothy Bear and Elliot Cole are my favorite of you boy combos. Timothy Bear is so handsome and gives me those outdoorsy vibes. Elliot Cole is perfectly rounded, handsome name that can fit any type of boy.
Least favorite: Rose Elizabeth and Carrie Jean. I feel like they aren’t as spunky as your other combos. Same with Isaac James.

5. What could they do to make your least favorites better?
I would switch the middle names out with a unique, nature name such as Azalea, Saffron, Phoenix, or Raven

6. Suggestions (singles, middles, double-middles, based on what the rest of their sig is), without any of the names they’ve already used?
Firsts: Anna, Grace, Violet, Lucy, Ella, Julie, Cora, Ruby, Olive, Simon, Gregory, Philip “Pip”, Milo, Emerson, Lincoln, Nolan, and Silas
Middles: Juniper, Elodie, Eden, Lavender, Aspen, Maeve, Jade, Piper, Lyra, Indigo, Wyatt, Cooper, Sawyer, Ryder, Axel, Fox, Wilder, Clay, Lawton, Colin, Reed, Archer

Hi @AdroitArtemis!

Here are my thoughts on your user card:

Aza Valkyrie-Is this said w/a long ‘a’? I kind of like it. I’ve never heard it. I love Asa for a boy, but this is different & has a fresh sound. Valkyrie is a little harsh for my style, but it’s unique & sounds nice as a mn here.

Bellatrix Fable-I’m in love w/Bellatrix recently. I love the meaning. Bella & Trixie are both darling nns too. Fable is super cute as a mn here too.

Cassia Wildflower -Ooh, fun combo! Cassia isn’t my favorite, but it’s growing on me. I just don’t like Cassie. Wildflower as a mn makes anything sound awesome.

. Dorothea Bay “Theo” -That’s gorgeous. Dorothea is so bold & elegant. Bay makes it sound light & airy, which is nice. It even softens it up a bit. I don’t love ‘Theo’ for a girl, but at least it’s just a nn for a feminine full name. I prefer Thea. Or Dorothea nn Daisy!

Elodia Moonlight-I’m not familiar with Elodia, but it has a pretty sound. Moonlight is super fun in the mn spot.

Jemison Stargazer “Jemmy” .-Not a fan of this one. It just seems like a confused version of Jameson. I love your unique mns, but this one is too much. I can see how Jemmy is sort of cute. I’d do Jemima nn Jemmy.

Juneau Moonglade-Juneau is cool! I like Juno too, but either way is lovely. Moonglade is maybe a bit much, but I guess I should like it just as much as Moonlight.

Scotland Maeve -I can’t get into Scotland. It doesn’t have that pretty of a sound to me. Maeve is quite nice though.

.Thessaly Fern-I haven’t heard this name much, but it has a sweet sing-songy sound. I love the Fern part.

Willabelle Tempest-Hm. I’ve never heard this mash-up name, but it’s really. cute. I’d personally do Willa Belle as a fn/mn combo. Tempest is not my style.

Amias Pippin-Amias is handsome & a little bit mysterious. Pippin is not my favorite, but this combo flows well.

Asa Malachite-I’m not loving the mn personally, but Asa is beautiful. Artsy & kind of woodsman-y at the same time.

. Asher Bravery-I like Asher. It’s cool & artsy too, yet also sounds strong & grounded. Bravery is a bit much, but it’s neat enough as a mn.

. Caspian Judah-This is awesome. What a beautiful combo.

Elio Warrior-I’m not into Elio. It just seems incomplete.

Fergus Lysander “Gus” -This is charming & an unique way to get ‘Gus’.

Finnegan Crane-I quite like Finnegan, & just love the simple Finn. Crane isn’t a name that I’ve ever considered, but it’s cool for the bird meaning.

Obadiah Crew “Obi” -Hm. It’s different, but maybe a bit much for my taste.

. Rye Finnegan-I’ve never heard Rye as a fn, but it’s interesting. This combo is quite handsome.

Sebastian Kit “Bash” -I love Sebastian nn Bash! That’s super fun.

. Silas Denver -Silas is really nice. It’s old fashioned & kind of cowboy-y. Denver works as a mn here, even though I don’t personally love it.

Tobias Calloway-Whoa, I went to high school with a Tobias Calloway (fn/ln). It’s a nice combo!

Guinevere Pearl - I’m typically not a fan of Guinevere but I really like how you’ve paired it with Pearl! It’s very sweet!
Eleanor Daisy - Love Eleanor Daisy! It’s so classically elegant, and Daisy adds a nice, playful feel.
Clementine Azalea - Normally I wouldn’t go for two botanical names at once, but I really do like Clementine paired with Azalea!
Gerty Adeline - I’m afraid this spelling of Gerty looks a little off to me, I think I’d prefer Gertie? Gerty Adeline does flow really nicely though!
Nuala Bellatrix - oh I love Nuala! Bellatrix is too Harry Potter-villain for my tastes but it does sound pretty with Nuala.

Colm - I do prefer Colin, but Colm is lovely.
Ewan - Love Ewan! It sounds so handsome and it’s very underused where I am.
Nolan - I’m a bit tired of Nolan as I do hear it more and more, but it’s still a really handsome choice.
Shiloh - Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of Shiloh, it’s just not my cup of tea.
Julian - Julian’s one of those names I would use but I’d love to meet, it’s really handsome!

@leafsgirl44-Thanks for your comments! I do kind of like Gertie too. Gerty is the way that the scientist Gerty Cori spells it. And also (even more nerdy, if you can believe it!) Gerty is the way the A.I. in the movie ‘Moon’ spells it.

Ha, Bellatrix is a ‘Harry Potter’ villian?! I think I knew that it was a Harry Potter name, but didn’t realize that it was a main character or a bad guy. I paired it w/Nuala, because I wanted a way to honor my Aunt Bernice. Was just looking for a pretty ‘B’ name, & I love the meaning of ‘female warrior’.

hi @MichelleM ! i love all of the names on your user card here is what i think of each:

amelia skye - this is insane! i love the combo and skye is so pretty with an e at the end. do you see skye as more of a girls name or a boys name on humans? any nicknames for amelia?

artemis sebastian - is artemis a boy’s name in this case? i love it either way. any nicknames?

fiona beatrix - fiona is beautiful but why beatrix. it’s definitely spunkier than the traditional beatrice. was that the intention? have you ever used trixie as a nickname?

guinevere pearl - what would you use as a nickname for guinevere? pearl is a little out-dated for me but it totally works here

eleanor daisy - i love the name ellanor and ellie is one of my all time favorite names. daisy is super sweet and overall a gorgeous combination

clementine azalea - i honestly love clementine without a nickname and if i ever used it, i would never use a nn. azalea isn’t my type and in my opinion is a little much for this combo as opposed to something like clementine jaine or clementine maye.

gerty adeline - gerty is super outdated for me but if it has significance then that’s super fun! adeline is beyond gorgeous. if i had to give this name a makeover, i would say adeline gertrude.

nuala bellatrix - bellatrix is badass. i envy anyone with this name. nuala is super unique and interesting. how is it pronounced? does it have a meaning?

colm - okay i love this name and i don’t know why. there’s just something about it that i can’t not love. colm august or colm augustine would be so sunny and handsone

ewan - not my fave but still cute, how is it pronounced? any significance?

nolan - total classic, impossible not to love it

shiloh - finally someone else who loves it!! i loved the book shiloh growing up as well.

julian - not in my top list, but it’s definitely growing on me. i like julian alexander.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] @mommymarina!

amelia skye -Miss [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is usually called [name_f]Mia[/name_f]. I refer to her as [name_f]Mia[/name_f], but personally address her as [name_f]Mia[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I’ve had her since she was a teeny kitten (fourteen years!), & [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] seemed too big for her back then. I like [name_u]Skye[/name_u] for a girl & [name_u]Sky[/name_u] for a boy. But really I like [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] for a boy, & the nn [name_u]Sky[/name_u] is kind of cool.

artemis sebastian - Yep, [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] is a little boy kitty. He’s almost exclusively called [name_u]Ari[/name_u]. I sometimes wish I would have just named her [name_u]Ari[/name_u], since it means ‘lion’ in Hebrew. I suppose since he’s a cat I could just say his full name is [name_u]Ari[/name_u]…but I do love [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] was a Greek goddess (a lady, obviously) of hunting & the moon. That made so much sense for a cat. :grinning:

fiona beatrix -[name_f]My[/name_f] husband wanted a dog named [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] nn [name_f]Trixie[/name_f]. I loved it too, but when we met her she was instantly a [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] to me. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is my profile picture. As you can see, she’s very stoic, LOL.

guinevere pearl - I suppose maybe [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] is the only nn I’d likely use. I love [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] & [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], but since it’s [name_u]Guin[/name_u] and not [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] or [name_u]Gwin[/name_u], they just don’t seem right. I love just [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] on its own. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is for my grandma, [name_f]Pauline[/name_f]. I just like the idea of a ‘P’ name in there to honor her, but [name_f]Pauline[/name_f] is just not my favorite.

eleanor daisy - Thanks! [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is after my late dad, [name_m]David[/name_m].

clementine azalea - [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is a bit froofy, isn’t it? I want an ‘a’ name to honor my late grandma/grandpa ([name_m]Albert[/name_m] & [name_f]Annette[/name_f]). Maybe something like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?

gerty adeline -[name_f]My[/name_f] husband loves [name_f]Gerty[/name_f]. It’s the name of an A.I. character in the movie ‘[name_f]Moon[/name_f]’, so it’s just super nerdy pop culture significance. I used to like [name_f]Greta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Gerty[/name_f], but I just got bored w/[name_f]Greta[/name_f]. [name_f]Gerty[/name_f] is so unique on its own.

nuala bellatrix - Isn’t [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] cool? I just love the meaning. I wanted a ‘B’ name to honor my Aunt [name_f]Bernice[/name_f]. [name_f]Nuala[/name_f] is ‘noo-luh’. It doesn’t have any special significance, other than it’s Irish. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s family is very Irish, & most of my little nephews have Irish names. I really like Finuala nn [name_f]Nuala[/name_f], but it’s too close to [name_f]Fiona[/name_f].

colm -I know, it’s beautiful, isn’t it? And it means ‘dove’, which makes it even better. I’d likely use [name_m]Colm[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] for my dad, but [name_m]Colm[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] is super handsome.

ewan - ‘You-in’. It’s just another Gaelic name. A very unique one in the U.S. at least.

nolan - I love how [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] is gentle yet sporty & rugged at the same time.

shiloh -Yes, ideally I would just use this for a dog, hehe. I’m Jewish, so I kind of like the idea of using a Hebrew name if not Gaelic.

julian - [name_m]Julian[/name_m] has been on my top five since maybe college (like eighteen years…). I like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Very [name_m]Roman[/name_m] sounding. I love [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] or [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m] for my grandpa.

Thank you so much for your thoughts.

@mommymarina, I’ll comment on your list now:

brandy-I have to say that this would be different on a little tyke in 2020, but it’s not my style. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a bit lacking substance.

olivia-This is beautiful. It’s very popular, which has made it a tad less special. But it’s a gorgeous classic, with the super sweet nn of [name_f]Livy[/name_f].

chanel-I think that I’d like this for a mn. It’s certainly elegant.

bay-I like this as a mn too, because its reminds me of an ocean bay. As a fn, however, I think it may be heard as ‘bae’, which is a bummer that that slang has maybe ruined it.

averie-I’m not super into this one. I hear it a bunch, & it’s more of a classic boy name in my opinion.

cirie-This has sort of a pretty sound, but the spelling is maybe a bit tricky. I don’t know…maybe [name_f]Suri[/name_f]?

cecily-Aw, this is just lovely. It has such a fun sing-songy cheery quality. It’s super unique yet not too complicated.

dylan-I adore this for a boy, but not for a girl so much.

cassia-This is really growing on me. It has a princess-y quality, which is lovely. It’s different too, but I’m not into [name_f]Cassie[/name_f].

colette-This is nice. Kind of stuffy, but I think I like that about it.

defiance-This just reminds me of defiant.

elliette (ellie)-I’ve never heard this, but it’s quite pretty.

eva-Smart & simple. I like it.

grey-Maybe as a mn. It’s not that pretty or feminine in the fn spot in my opinion.

ivy-I want to like this, because it’s spunky & botanical, but it just reminds me of getting stuck with a needle.

isobela-I quite like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], but this spelling looks way off.

kasia-I prefer [name_f]Cassia[/name_f].

keira-I’m in the minority, but this spelling bugs me. I think if you want ‘keer-uh’, then [name_f]Kira[/name_f] looks nicer. And for ‘key-air-uh’, than [name_f]Ciara[/name_f].

lacey-Not a huge fan of this. See [name_f]Brandy[/name_f].

lane-Hm. I think it’s fine for a mn. Kind of like it better on a boy.

lilah-This is gorgeous. I love saying it. It has such a sweet sound.

maddie-This is not my favorite, but I’d at least do it as a nn for [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]. [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is a beautiful classic.

palmer-Meh, this seems boyish to me.

patience-It’s different, but a bit much for my taste. Maybe as a mn.

piper-I can’t get into this one. It just doesn’t sound that cute, but I’m in the minority. A lot of people seem to like it.

mia-As stated above, this is my beautiful love of my life kitty cat’s name, so I obviously adore it.

rainey-This has a cute sound, but [name_u]Rain[/name_u] nn [name_f]Rainey[/name_f] would be nicer. [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is sleek & elegant.

rubie-Super cute spunky classic, but I would for sure spell it [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

saige-Not my style, but it’s not awful. I’d stick w/the simple [name_u]Sage[/name_u].

stella-[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! This name has almost cracked my top five. It’s sophisticated & spunky.

scarlet-I have to say, I like how you spelled this name. It makes more sense than [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] to me, since [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] is how the flower is spelled. It’s not my absolute favorite, but it’s kind of pretty.

tyler-This is way too popular for boys to consider for a girl in my opinion.

,zoey-This is cute. I think that the ‘y’ is unnecessary. [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] looks better in my opinion. It’s a well known enough name that people should say it right w/out needing the ‘y’.

henry-For a girl or boy? I love it for a boy. Definitely not for a girl.

ocean-I want to like it, but it just seems a bit much for a name. Not sure why, because I really like [name_u]River[/name_u]. I guess it’s kind of cool & certainly different.

asher-This is really handsome. Sort of artsy yet masculine.

boston-Meh, not a fan of this one. It’s very associated w/the city, which I guess is fine if you like the city enough?

oliver-This is charming. Getting pretty popular.

conrad-I can’t quite get into this one, but it’s different.

alexander-A handsome classic.

avery-Yes, much better for a boy!

carter-This is fine. Nothing special, but not bad.

brodey-Well, I think I’d stick w/[name_m]Brody[/name_m]. I don’t love it though. It’s super trendy & the nn ‘Bro’ just seems odd.

caspian-Ooh, very handsome. Sort of mysterious sounding.

collin-This is a nice solid name. Not too popular, yet simple & classic. I think that [name_m]Colin[/name_m] looks sleeker.

ezra-Very cool. Kind of like [name_u]Asher[/name_u]. It’s artsy yet I can see it for an outdoors-y guy too.

elikai-I like just [name_m]Eli[/name_m] or just [name_u]Kai[/name_u], but not sure about them together.

finlay-This is adorable. I love it for a boy. It’s sort of posh & sporty. It’s getting sort of common for girls though, which is a bummer.

grant-This is nice enough. Not my personal favorite, but totally fine.

jett-Kind of different. It has a neat sound. I can see the appeal, but I don’t love it for some reason.

jamey-Maybe as a nn for [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].

krew-Kind of interesting, but I like the look of [name_m]Crew[/name_m] much more.

keaton-Not super special, but it’s fine.

luke-A good solid classic. I like it. It’s a good cowboy name.

mathias-I never think about this name too much, but I like it. It’s different & handsome.

max-I love just [name_u]Max[/name_u]. It’s sweet & lovable.

owen-I really like this. One of those boy names that’s a perfect balance of rugged & gentle.

peter-A charming under used classic. I really like it. And if you’re interested in unique nns, Patch & [name_u]Pip[/name_u] are adorable.

price-Maybe for a mn. Seems a bit off for a fn.

reid-This is okay. Nothing special, but fine.

rocky-A bit cheesy for some reason.

romeo-This is just so connected to [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] that it would be weird. Maybe cool as a mn.

rory-I kind of like it, but it’s kind of hard to say. It’s not bad.

wyatt -This is fun. I like this a lot. Another good cowboy name.

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this combo! It’s unknown classics. It gives me ocean, mermaid vibes.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]: SO pretty! Not a huge fan of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but I think pairing it with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] gives it life and really spunks it up!
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: this names a little too wordy for me. I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would sound better paired with like [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], etc. I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] tho! It’s so southern and youthful!
[name_f]Gerty[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]: Not a huge fan of [name_f]Gerty[/name_f]. I just don’t get pretty, happy imagery from it. Maybe pairing it with something like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] or [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] would brighten it up a bit. [name_f]Gerty[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] sounds beautiful!
[name_f]Nuala[/name_f] [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f]: Both of these names separelty are beautiful but I don’t think they quite work together. I think the “al” sounds don’t work together. [name_f]Nuala[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] sounds better imo.

[name_m]Colm[/name_m]: so handsome! I prefer the spelling [name_m]Colum[/name_m] better just because the pronunciation is clearer but I think it depends on where you live.
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m]: this name is really growing on me. I prefer it to [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. It just has a fresher sound and is so underrated. I love seeing people bring it back! [name_m]Colm[/name_m] and [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] would be perfect brother names btw!
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]: This name is eh. I prefer it on a girl but I think it works equally well for a boy. It’s very soft compared to the other boy names on your list and sticks out but thats not a bad thing. I think [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] sounds nice
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]: can’t go wrong with [name_m]Julian[/name_m]! It’s strong, recognizable, unique but not too out there, it’s just perfectly well rounded and I really like the nickname [name_m]Ian[/name_m] for it

@AdroitArtemis
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Malachite[/name_m] [name_u]Rune[/name_u]: I love [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for a boy, it’s soft but recognisable and feels kind and comforting, which is nice imagery. [name_m]Malachite[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Malachy[/name_m], which I love, so I am a fan of it. I think [name_u]Rune[/name_u] fits well, being softer again, after [name_m]Malachite[/name_m] being stronger.
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]: I’m not sure about the order of this. I like the long-short-long but am not convinced it’s the best order of sounds. [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] sounds less mushy than [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] to my ears.
[name_m]Fergus[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_u]Noble[/name_u]: I like [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], I’m not so sure about [name_u]Noble[/name_u] but it does match the feeling of the other names, especially [name_m]Lysander[/name_m].
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Beauregard[/name_m] [name_u]Fox[/name_u]: Nms - I’m eh on [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], it reminds me of alcohol too much! Prefer [name_u]James[/name_u] but recognise that’s a lot more common and doesn’t fit the style of your names. Not a fan of animal names either but there’s nothing aesthetically wrong with the combo.
[name_u]Rye[/name_u] [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] [name_m]Crane[/name_m]: I like [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] but I’m not sure about the rest of the name. [name_u]Rye[/name_u] is another [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] for me. I think I prefer your combos with a longer first so would swap to [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] [name_u]Rye[/name_u] [name_m]Crane[/name_m] personally.

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_u]Bravery[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]: I like [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u], less convinced on [name_u]Bravery[/name_u] but it sounds nice enough. [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] has some lovely strong imagery to it, I wonder if [name_u]Bravery[/name_u] just doubles down on that a bit too much.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Thistle[/name_u] [name_u]Kye[/name_u]: [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Thistle[/name_u] flows well, I wonder if [name_u]Kye[/name_u] gets a little bit drowned out at the end there. It doesn’t feel like it holds its own in the combo.
Jemison Stargazer [name_f]Faye[/name_f]: Not a huge fan of Jemison. Think I would prefer it with something more flowery in the second spot - [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]/[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]/[name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]/[name_f]Camellia[/name_f].
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]: [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favourite. [name_u]Strong[/name_u] and sturdy [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is relaxed a little bit by [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]. [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] are both known but unusual, have classic links to ground them a bit and [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] gives it some nice whimsical imagery at the end.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] - I’m usually not so fond of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I find it a bit plain. But I love it with [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]! It elevates it from a traditional, well-used girls’ name to something sweet and rustic.

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] - I actually love how L-heavy this is, it’s really fun to say. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is sweet, though unfortunately a cat name to me because it’s my girlfriend’s cat’s name. [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] is really underrated, love it as a middle name!

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] - I’m really surprised with this one. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is a name I honestly hate. [name_m]Just[/name_m] really not into it. This is the first time I’ve seen it in a combo and absolutely loved it. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is just precious.

[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - So sweet and fresh! I love [name_f]Mae[/name_f], and the sweet [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is lovely next to it.

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - Another wonderful combo. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is adorable and wonderfully vintage, and this is one of the instances where [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is not boring as a middle name at all. While both names are pretty on their own, together they sound almost spunky.

[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] - This is my kind of girls’ name! Vintage first, nature middle is my go-to. And [name_f]Clover[/name_f] goes wonderfully with [name_f]Winnie[/name_f].

[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] - Hm, not as sure about this one. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t get me wrong, individually I love both names. Especially [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]! But I don’t like the repeating -da [name_f]Do[/name_f]- sounds.

[name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Bea[/name_f] makes for a surprisingly spunky first name! [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is lovely, and it does work, though personally I’d go for a three-syllable middle name here.

[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] - I got so excited when I saw [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f]!! It’s one of my favorite names that no one talks about. And it works well with the sleek [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - The spunky boyishness of [name_u]Kit[/name_u] with the gentleness and femininity of [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] makes for a wonderful combination.

[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] - Again, a combo after my own heart! While I’m not a fan of [name_m]Charles[/name_m], the outdoorsy, more quirky [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is great with a short, traditional middle name.

[name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] - This one is just precious, though not too cutesy.

[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] - I never would have though to use [name_u]Sage[/name_u] with [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], but it works surprisingly well. I’m also a big fan of using slightly more feminine nature names as boys’ middle names.

[name_u]Paxton[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - This one isn’t really my cup of tea. [name_u]Paxton[/name_u] sounds very harsh to my ears, and there’s not really a softer nickname to balance it out. This is also just personal preference but I really dislike [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and find it overused.

[name_m]Knox[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] - Same as [name_u]Paxton[/name_u], when it comes to [name_m]Knox[/name_m], though I like [name_m]Knox[/name_m] more. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is handsome, but not my favorite [name_f]El[/name_f]- name. I prefer [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_m]Elio[/name_m] and [name_u]Ellis[/name_u].

[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] - Another combo I could see in my own signature. [name_u]Toby[/name_u] is such a sweet nickname and [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] is fun and handsome in the middle spot.

[name_u]Holland[/name_u] [name_u]Theo[/name_u] - Never considered [name_u]Holland[/name_u] for a boy before, but I actually really like it! I prefer it on a girl, but there’s just something effortlessly cool about it on a boy. A boyish, trendy middle like [name_u]Theo[/name_u] works well with it.

[name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] - This one has sort of a… jazzy vibe to me? If that makes sense. I’m a fan though! Like with your [name_f]Jane[/name_f] combo, I usually find [name_u]James[/name_u] boring as a middle name, but it definitely adds character to [name_m]Deacon[/name_m].

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_u]Langley[/name_u] - This one isn’t bad, it’s simply not my style. [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is a bit too popular for me and I don’t get the appeal of [name_u]Langley[/name_u], I prefer [name_u]Landry[/name_u].

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Brave[/name_u] - I don’t like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. It’s quite trendy and more popular for girls, though it still works on a boy. That said, [name_u]Brave[/name_u] is a really cool middle name! I have it in my own signature at the moment, for a name with some similar sounds to [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_m]Seamus[/name_m].

@tallemaja LOVE the signature :wink:

[name_m]Angus[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is handsome and cute, while retaining a certain strength and majesty to it. Very auburn colored imo and forest like.

[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is so wonderful! I love vintage names that sound magical, like [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] balances out the wonderful uncommonness of [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_u]Fox[/name_u].

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] - [name_f]My[/name_f] only comment is that [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] and [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] seem a different vibe to the cheerful and happy [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. That isn’t neccesarily bad and these names work well, just my thoughts.

[name_m]Finbar[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] - for some reason, [name_m]Finbar[/name_m] reminds me of a mineral or gemstone…oh that’s it, cinnabar! Sorry, off topic sorta. I like your mix of styles and sounds.

[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] [name_m]Leander[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is superb! You took [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] and paired it with such excellent names, and [name_m]Leander[/name_m] makes it sound softer.

[name_u]Lionel[/name_u] [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] - [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] are nms, but if they are yours, go for them! THey are nice names, and pair well with [name_u]Jude[/name_u].

[name_m]Ozzy[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] is very intriguing! [name_m]Ozzy[/name_m] is quite a wonderful full name and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is very very sweet and strong. bear isn’t my style, but it does fit.

[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u] - I don’t like Reubuen, but I can’t argue with this combo!

[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_u]Brave[/name_u] flows very well. [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] are softer and allow [name_u]Brave[/name_u] to be a bit in the forefront. [name_u]Love[/name_u]!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] - Stunning. I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], it always makes me think of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland. [name_u]Poet[/name_u] is a bit of a guilty pleasure name for me, I’d probably never use it myself but it works perfectly as a second middle with these other classic choices.

[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] - I love [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u], but I’m not feeling [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]. [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a lovely combo of a long, feminine name paired with a short unisex middle. I would leave off [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] personally, but that’s just my opinion!

[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u] ‘[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]’ - [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is sooo cute. I like [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] in the middle, but I’m not a fan of [name_u]Hero[/name_u]. I don’t know if it’s because of [name_m]Hiro[/name_m] from Big [name_u]Hero[/name_u] 6 but I see [name_u]Hero[/name_u] as a boys name (it’s actually on my boys list!).

[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - Might I suggest [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]? [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] are stunning nature names and perfect together, but I think the matching -ee endings of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] disrupts the flow of this combo.

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Solange[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f] but I don’t like [name_f]Solange[/name_f]. I’m not sure why it just doesn’t have a very pleasant sound to me. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is lovely though! What about [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]? or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]?

[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Eilonwy[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I can’t fault this one, they’re all lovely names and the combo is great. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is probably my favourite [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] varient, especially because of the character from Call the Midwife!

[name_f]Maelle[/name_f] Sunflower [name_f]Joy[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Mae[/name_f]’ - I like Sunflower [name_f]Joy[/name_f], but I’m not sure about [name_f]Maelle[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Maebh[/name_f] instead?

[name_f]Minette[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Lark[/name_u] - It’s [name_f]Minette[/name_f]! I’ve seen a few of your threads on here about this name and I stick with what I’ve said previously, I do like it, but I prefer [name_f]Linette[/name_f]. It feels more of a solid name choice. But you obviously like it, so you keep it!

[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] [name_u]Echo[/name_u] - I like both of these names, but not together. They feel too distant for me. Maybe you need a middle in between them that could tie them together?

[name_m]Edwin[/name_m] [name_m]Sylvester[/name_m] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love. I can’t fault this combo. [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] with or without [name_m]Sylvester[/name_m] works for me, but I can see from the rest of your signature that you like longer combos. I love [name_m]Edwin[/name_m], it feels very grandpa-chic.

[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Novel[/name_u] - I don’t really like [name_u]Novel[/name_u], and I would probably switch [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] around to make [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]. What about [name_u]Story[/name_u] instead of [name_u]Novel[/name_u]? It has the same meaning and I think it has a more name-like sound.

[name_m]Ferris[/name_m] Elyan Rook - Again, I’m not feeling your second middle, sorry! But [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] Elyan is lovely. I think I’d prefer [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] Elyan [name_m]Rock[/name_m] or [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] Elyan [name_u]Roch[/name_u].

[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] [name_u]Cove[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Jay[/name_u]’ - I really like this one. It’s the perfect combo of a recognisable but not over-used first, a long middle and a short unisex third. The magic formula! This name has me picturing a sweet and caring boy with a creative side.

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Austell[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] - Unpopular opinion on Nameberry I know - but I don’t actually like [name_u]Kit[/name_u]! It makes me think of [name_f]Kitty[/name_f], which is undoubtedly a girls name. But I know that a lot of people on here like it so feel free to ignore me! [name_m]Austell[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] is lovely.

[name_u]Laurence[/name_u] [name_u]Kay[/name_u] [name_u]Valiant[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Laurie[/name_u]’ - I think somebody already said it, but [name_u]Kay[/name_u] in the middle of these two does sound like [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] K. [name_u]Valiant[/name_u] to me. What about [name_m]Kane[/name_m] instead? [name_u]Valiant[/name_u] isn’t a name I ususally like but I think it works with [name_u]Laurence[/name_u].

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_m]Conan[/name_m] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Nat[/name_u]’ - I like this. I’m not normally a fan of [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], it feels a bit long-winded to me and I generally prefer [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] or just [name_u]Nat[/name_u], but it feels right with [name_m]Conan[/name_m] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]. I really like [name_m]Conan[/name_m] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]!

[name_m]Varian[/name_m] [name_u]Night[/name_u] ‘[name_u]Rhian[/name_u]’ - I don’t like this one. I like [name_u]Rhian[/name_u] as a name in itself, but I don’t like [name_m]Varian[/name_m] or [name_u]Night[/name_u]. [name_m]Varian[/name_m] sounds like Variant, and I think the spelling [name_m]Knight[/name_m] looks more like a name. I would prefer [name_u]Rhian[/name_u] [name_m]Knight[/name_m].

P.S. To whoever rates my user card - Bonus points if you can think of middles for poor [name_u]Laurie[/name_u], [name_u]Drew[/name_u] and [name_u]Miles[/name_u]!

Thanks @AdroitArtemis!

I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] or [name_f]Nuala[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] (would like a ‘B’ name to honor my Aunt [name_f]Bernice[/name_f]), but [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is my dog’s mn. I suppose it’s not a huge deal (and real kids are totally hypothetical), but for my own sanity I keep it off my lists.

[name_f]Gerty[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is amazing! I’ve never though of that before, but it really does lighten up [name_f]Gerty[/name_f]. [name_f]Gerty[/name_f] is my husband’s favorite name , and I’ve come on board. The nick-namey-ness bugs me, but I just don’t like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] or [name_f]Greta[/name_f] enough.

I’m in the U.S., so [name_m]Colm[/name_m] would absolutely get said wrong all of the time. It’s a tricky one.

Thanks again.

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it! [name_f]May[/name_f] might be a little bit ‘filler’ as a middle name but [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is lovely and they work really nicely together.
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_u]Wyn[/name_u] - I like both names, but the W ending makes them smush together when you say them, making it more like Marlowyn. Since [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is a bit unusual you could consider swapping the middle names round - [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_u]Wyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f].
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - Both names are gorgeous! They work well together. Personally because I really like both names I’d rather they weren’t paired so each one got more space to shine, but they do flow nicely together.
[name_f]Leyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] - I prefer the spelling [name_f]Laila[/name_f] or [name_f]Layla[/name_f], but [name_f]Leyla[/name_f] is nice too. [name_f]Leyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is great as a combo, it’s the right amount of cool but still soft.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Thea[/name_f], great name. I’ve never been super keen on [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], but [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] flows wonderfully!

[name_u]Ezra[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] - I really like both names, but again they blend together a little with the ‘[name_m]Ra[/name_m]’ ‘[name_f]Ro[/name_f]’ parts, I would consider using [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] ‘something else’ and then using [name_m]Robert[/name_m] as one of your other middle name options.
[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_m]Worden[/name_m] - [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is very cute, personally I’d use it as a nickname (I like it for [name_m]Edward[/name_m]) but I think [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is lovely and if you’re happy with it as a stand alone then that’s cool. Is [name_m]Worden[/name_m] a family name? I know [name_m]Warden[/name_m] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m], but I’ve never seen [name_m]Worden[/name_m]. If it’s a family name, I think it’s great. If it’s just a name, I prefer the [name_m]Warden[/name_m] spelling.
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] both names! Again, not sure I love them together. I actually think [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Worden[/name_m] would better, so you don’t repeat the ‘ur/er’ endings but they’ve still got a similar feel. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is a name I love!
[name_u]Laurie[/name_u] - [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] is so handsome! I would likely use it as a nickname for [name_u]Laurence[/name_u], but I really like it as a stand alone was well! [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_m]Davis[/name_m], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_m]Chester[/name_m], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m].
[name_u]Drew[/name_u] - I’ve never been a big fan of the name [name_u]Drew[/name_u]. It’s fine but I don’t love it. [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] (I know, you have [name_u]Laurie[/name_u], but it sounds good!)
[name_u]Miles[/name_u] - I really like the name [name_u]Miles[/name_u]. I slightly prefer [name_m]Milo[/name_m], but [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is still super handsome. [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] would be great! [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Toby[/name_u].

First of all, I want to say that the ABC theme is really fun and creative! I might have to try it out sometime.
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] - I think [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] is cute, though [name_f]Beth[/name_f] really dates it. I’d go for something like [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] [name_u]Briar[/name_u], [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] [name_u]Bird[/name_u], [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], etc instead. Or if you want to use [name_f]Beth[/name_f], I’d pick a very modern first name, like [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] for example. But it’s not a bad combo sound-wise!

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] - A bit L-heavy, but it works. Both names are fun and spunky and they make for a firecracker of a combo.

[name_f]Gwyneira[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] - This one’s stunning! I love [name_f]Gwyneira[/name_f], I think it’s a stunning and underused name. And [name_f]Helen[/name_f] is a GP of mine. I find her hard to pair and make exciting, but it’s so romantic here.

[name_f]Inara[/name_f] [name_u]Josie[/name_u] - [name_f]Inara[/name_f] is definitely interesting, I think I like it. It has a bit of a “colder” sound so I really like the warm, cuddly [name_u]Josie[/name_u] with it.

[name_f]Kira[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - I prefer the [name_f]Keira[/name_f] spelling. I’m not really feeling this one, [name_f]Kira[/name_f]/[name_f]Keira[/name_f] feels quite early 2000s to me, and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] doesn’t exactly freshen her up. I’d go for something like [name_f]Kira[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Kira[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] etc.

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Noa[/name_u] - I have a soft spot for [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], because of a close friend. And even though it’s a bit dated, it has a soft sound and adorable nicknames. [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is a really cool choice next to it.

[name_f]Orla[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] - I’m in love with this one. [name_f]Orla[/name_f] is simple yet stunning, and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is so pretty and romantic next to it.

[name_f]Quirina[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - [name_f]Quirina[/name_f] is a bit out there for me, though the sound itself isn’t bad. And I understand why it’d be hard to find a Q name to use for this challenge! I do like it with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] though, it makes it more usable and plays off of [name_f]Quirina[/name_f]'s spunk.

[name_f]Sally[/name_f] [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] - This is interesting! I like how you picked [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] and not [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] here, it adds a vintage quirkiness that works well with [name_f]Sally[/name_f]. I don’t love [name_f]Sally[/name_f] myself, it means something negative-ish in my first language, but I get the appeal.

[name_f]Una[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f] - This one’s very “nameberry”, but in a good way. I really like [name_f]Una[/name_f], and I think I’m one of the few people who prefer this spelling to [name_f]Oona[/name_f]. It’s a very cool and pretty name, and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] works well with it.

[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] - I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u], it’s so sweet. For some reason I find [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] next to it a little odd, and I can’t tell why. That said I get that you probably didn’t have too many options for X names.

[name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] [name_f]Zippora[/name_f] - This one’s a bit… too much. I can’t imagine [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] as a first name, but in that case I definitely wouldn’t use a name as unique as [name_f]Zippora[/name_f] with it. I’d go for something more familiar, like [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] etc.

[name_m]Alec[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] - I really like [name_m]Alec[/name_m]! I’m surprised it doesn’t get more attention on the site. Since it’s quite close to the common [name_u]Alex[/name_u] I’d go for a middle name that was a bit more out there, like [name_m]Benedict[/name_m], but that’s just my taste. The combo sounds and looks good.

[name_u]Cairo[/name_u] [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Cairo[/name_u]! I think it’s sort of a more obscure (at least on nameberry, not sure about real life statistics) [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], and it’s just as fun and spunky. I do prefer it on a girl though. For boys, I’m a fan of the similar [name_m]Caio[/name_m]. I wouldn’t use a unisex middle like [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] with a unisex first like [name_u]Cairo[/name_u], but I like how it sounds with it.

[name_m]Euan[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] - I love [name_m]Euan[/name_m]! It’s so handsome and underrated, and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is the perfect middle for it. This is a combo I could see myself having in my own signature.

[name_m]Gregory[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]'s another one I never see on nameberry, but I really like it as a full name! I think it’s just fun to say. [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is a good match stylistically, though I can’t decide if it makes the combo too “g” heavy or not.

[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_m]Jason[/name_m] - Neither name is my cup of tea. [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] is a bit too religious, and [name_m]Jason[/name_m] I find dated and a bit plain. Sound-wise, [name_m]Jason[/name_m] is great with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], I think it really grounds it.

[name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] [name_u]Lior[/name_u] - This is your only combo that I don’t think sounds good. The repeating -ley Li- sounds make it awkward to say. I’d go for [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] [name_u]Lux[/name_u], [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u], etc. Though maybe [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] just isn’t the best K name for this challenge, I think all L middles sound odd with it.

[name_u]Mercer[/name_u] [name_u]Nico[/name_u] - [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] is interesting! I really like [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] for a girl, and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] for a boy, and this is sort of a combination of the two. I also like the use of [name_u]Nico[/name_u], it’s a fun name.
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Orion[/name_u], it sounds mythical and modern at the same time which is hard to achieve. [name_u]Parker[/name_u] isn’t my style but I have no issue with it here.

[name_u]Quill[/name_u] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] - [name_u]Quill[/name_u] is a GP of mine. It’s too close to ‘‘kill’’ but I love it’s fun, playful vibe anyway. And [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] adds a lot of character to it!

[name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Timothy[/name_m] - Like I just said, I love [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]! It’s just an all-around solid name. Modern but not too trendy, easy to spell and pronounce and nice to say. I’m usually not fond of [name_m]Timothy[/name_m] but it’s cute here, I like it.

[name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] - [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m] is definitely a bold choice! I do like the literature connections, though the sound of the name itself isn’t my favorite. [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is another one I don’t see enough on nameberry, it’s a strong, handsome choice.

[name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] [name_m]Xander[/name_m] - While I prefer just [name_u]Wolf[/name_u], I do like [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m]! It’s, again, a very bold name, but I think it works with a familiar name like [name_m]Xander[/name_m] in the middle.

[name_u]Yuri[/name_u] [name_m]Zev[/name_m] - [name_u]Yuri[/name_u]'s kind of cute, though I wouldn’t use it because of certain connotations. I think [name_m]Zev[/name_m]'s interesting though! I’ve only seen it a handful of times and I think it has huge potential. That said, since [name_u]Yuri[/name_u] is so short I’d go for a longer middle name.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] @jonquils! You did get skipped. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I would love to comment on your names. I think I may have a few times before, but it looks like you’ve done a little adding/rearranging.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]-This could pretty much not be cuter. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is so sweet & lovable, but also a classic. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] paired w/it just gives it a soft feminine imagery.

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Galilee[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. I think that I’m getting sick of it, since I see it on these forums a lot. But it’s a nice vintage name that’s feminine yet not too fussy. I can’t get into [name_f]Galilee[/name_f], but it’s different.

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] -I love [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. It’s bold & a little exotic, but also has some classic spunk. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea, but this combo is pretty cool.

[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]-I like the soft simplicity of [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is one that I just can’t get into, but this combo flows well.

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]-Dang, this is cute! I still think that [name_f]Etta[/name_f] sounds a bit incomplete, but [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is classy & adorable.

[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]-Aw, I just love [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]. It’s so friendly. It’s simple yet somehow fairly off the radar. I’m more into as a nn for [name_f]Anwen[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Ceridwen[/name_f], [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f], Meriwen, [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]…lots of good full names. But [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is super sweet.

[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]-Ooh, I like this. Very kind & simple w/vintage charm.

[name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] quite a bit for a nn, but this seems a bit incomplete on its own. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] would be lovely.

[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] -I really want to like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. I really like the idea of it. It’s short, sleek, old fashioned & underused. [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] is really cute as a mn.

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]-Ooh, I like this spunky tom boyish fn w/the super frilly mn. I do prefer [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a nn (love [name_f]Katia[/name_f] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u]), but just [name_u]Kit[/name_u] isn’t bad.

[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] -I kind of like [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]. It’s a little much for me, but it’s different & handsome. I don’t think that [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] doesn’t flow that well.

[name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]-That’s really cute. I don’t usually like [name_m]Bear[/name_m], but [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] sounds sweet. I like [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. It’s quirky & smart.

[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]-I don’t generally care for [name_u]Sage[/name_u], but [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] actually sounds really cool.

[name_u]Paxton[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]-This combo flows nicely. I’m not generally into [name_u]Paxton[/name_u] though. I knew a little imp (that’s a nice word…) called this, so it’s just a personal issue.

[name_m]Knox[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]-I quite like [name_m]Knox[/name_m]. It’s posh yet approachable. Really cool paired w/[name_m]Elijah[/name_m].

[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u]-Not sure why I can’t get into [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], but it’s a good solid name & this combo has a nice flow.

[name_u]Holland[/name_u] [name_u]Theo[/name_u]-I’m not sure I love [name_u]Holland[/name_u]. I think it’s too feminine for a boy yet too masculine for a girl.

[name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]-Not sure why I don’t love [name_m]Deacon[/name_m]. It’s just sort of meh to me, but it’s not bad.

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_u]Langley[/name_u]-I like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]. Such a cool cowboy feel. [name_u]Langley[/name_u] is not my style, but it’s fine as a mn.

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Brave[/name_u]-This sounds like a Disney character, LOL. I like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] for a boy, but it’s annoyingly popular for girls.

@MichelleM
First off, I love your kiddos names!

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as a middle name, and it sounds perfect with [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]!

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]- So sweet! I usually do not care for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] really brightens it up!

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]- Maybe a bit too much for my personal taste. I would prefer [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] with a short middle (and maybe not a botanical, nature, or word name).

[name_f]Gerty[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]- Very sweet and simple!

[name_f]Nuala[/name_f] [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f]- I love the feel of this one! [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] really adds spunk to the calming [name_f]Nuala[/name_f]!

All of your boy names are so solid! I’d love to see what you would pair them with! [name_f]My[/name_f] faves are [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]!
