I have always really loved the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and more specifically [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle name. I know however this name is totally over done as middle but what do you think?

It is totally overdone as a middle but there’s no denying it flows wonderfully with almost any first name and is clearly a longtime favourite for you. No reason at all why you shouldn’t go for it!

I think it is, but I think it still has its charm, unless of course your baby’s fn is [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]!

It’s on the list but it’s a very big setback for me, the fact that it’s overused and expected as a MN.
It is a common middle name, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Especially if you have always loved the name, it’s still a special choice.

It’s super common but the reason for it is because it’s a gorgeous name! Go for it!

You will not be awarded any bonus points for choosing a middle name that’s less common. 
I think you should do what you think will bring you the most joy and avoid comparing yourself too much to others. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a lovely name!

Yes, it is overdone. On the other hand, if you love the name and connect with it, it shouldn’t matter how popular it is. If anyone expresses a problem with it (not that they should), just tell them you love the name and that’s all there is to it.
Summarizing… use the name you love!

As someone with the middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f], it is overdone. But for good reason, it literally goes so well with every single name out there. And my first born daughter (if I ever have one) will have the middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f], too.

Haha nope, my neice is [name_f]Isobelle[/name_f].
The first name I love is [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and we also like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. But paired together I do actually really like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and feel like it’s the best of both. I actually posted a poll looking at other [name_f]Rose[/name_f] combos like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].

It is a bit expected but it’s still really pretty. I would consider using it since it’s an honor name for us.

I see it as a common middle, & a bit of a filler. 
But use it if you love jt! ^.^ [name_f]My[/name_f] adult cousin is R0s@nn3 ([name_f]Rose[/name_f] + [name_f]Ann[/name_f]) & it’s fitted her well.
It definitely doesn’t matter if it’s overused or not. Her middle name probably won’t be used very often.

In a word, yes, but there’s more too it than that! For me, it really depends on the first name. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a bit dull, as it’s the #1 name with a super common middle name, however, something less popular like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] or [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] or [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] would really work well with [name_f]Rose[/name_f], imo!

Rose is really popular as a middle name but that shouldn’t stop you from using it if you love it enough! I’ve met soooo many girls with the middle name [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but it still is very pretty and one of my favorite middle names!l

Rose is definitely overdone as a middle name. It just flows well with pretty much everything. I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name would be kind of refreshing though.

As others have said, I agree that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very done as a middle, but for good reason! It’s a lovely name that flows with almost everything and adds beautiful imagery to any combo. And more importantly, it’s a long-time love for you. That’s what would make it special to your daughter! So in this case I don’t think it matters a bit that it’s popular–I say use it!
