Starting over! If you had a son named Cruz

Yep, I graduated from [name]Wren[/name]. Nothing wrong with the name, just don’t want to hear the jokes from my old classmates. [name]Ren[/name] always reminds me of 1)[name]Ren[/name] & Stimpy and 2)Footloose. Can’t do it.

Girl names are hard for me anyway, and I think I made it harder by giving [name]Cruz[/name] the name I did. But maybe I’ll find out Friday this is another boy and the headache will lessen a bit!! Whatever name I choose though, she is already becoming my little Roo in my head.

I’m also really digging [name]Rocco[/name] and [name]Jacoby[/name], as well as [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Mateo[/name]. If this is a boy, I think I will definitely have an easier time finding the right name–or at least a few “right names” to take to the hospital with me.

leonielee–I love both of those sibsets too, I’m just not sure if I’m brave enough to use either of those!

Other thoughts along the lines of [name]Canyon[/name] and [name]River[/name]/[name]Rio[/name]:

[name]Arroyo[/name], nn [name]Ari[/name]/[name]Roy[/name]/Royo; Maybe Arroya for a girl? Or is that too made-up. . .? You could get Roo from Arroya. Or there’s just Roya, nn Roo.
[name]Mesa[/name]: the -a ending could work for a girl, I think, but it’s not too girly. . .

Also, have Runa/[name]Rune[/name] been mentioned? They could get you to Roo too.
