A sequel to this and that and these and those and here and there and anywhere and a bit of a CAF-like game but it’s more than just one family and there’s multiple aspects of many CAF games. In this game, 20 people were sailing when a storm destroyed their boat, leaving them on an island for shelter. However this island is home to Mother Nature’s wrath, making it harder for the survivors to handle. Emojis will be used to represent characters’ status. You do not have to use the emojis next to the names when creating your families but they do serve purpose in monthly events.

This is for last names. Question: How do the survivors get along?

A: Very well, they enjoy each other’s company. All character surnames must have only one vowel.

C: Some get along and some don’t. All character surnames must be in languages other than English.
The first survivor family (6) consists of a mother [47] , father [47] , older daughter [26] , older brother [25] , younger daughter [17] , and younger son [14] . The mother is a repair shop owner and is very strong and hands-on. The father is a dermatologist but will help treat wounds as well as he’d treat unbroken skin. The older daughter works at a care facility and is used to having her eyes on seniors and profoundly disabled and will use her vigilance here. The older brother has traveled to many tropical places and knows and enjoys their delicacies. The younger daughter shouldn’t be underestimated as a teenager, she’s spent her life judged and underestimated and now it’s time for her to lead and take charge. The younger son doesn’t yet know where he wants to go in his future life but is always in support of everyone else and roots them on. The second survivor family (3) consists of a single father [38] , and his twins, a boy [17] and a girl [17] . The father is a lumberjack and his son and daughter plan to work together in terms of food, with him finding it and her verifying if it’s safe or not to consume. Question: Will the father consider having a lover or co-parent?

The third survivor family (3) consists of three adult siblings who were orphaned as children after their parents died in a house tornado. They are scared to relive more natural disasters but have the willpower to try and conquer them for their parents. The oldest sibling [29] is a non-binary activist for human rights and also had to lead the other siblings to live life after disaster. The middle brother [26] has scars from the tornado but lives every day testing his physical strengths to the limit. The youngest sister [24] has not been the same since losing her parents but lives her life consoling others who have lost loved ones. Question: Which will be harder for these siblings: physical or mental hardships?
A: Physical. Everyone in the family has names of plants and/or animals.
B: Mental. Names of this family are virtue names or names with positive meanings.
C: Equal of both. Names of this family are from children’s books or movies.
The fourth survivor family (2) consists of married elders. The husband [86] has 10 lovely grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and is loved by the neighbourhood. The wife [86] runs an observatory and finds the stars a peaceful setting for her to get her thoughts down. Question: What will help the grandparents align well with the younger people?

The fifth survivor family (4) consists of two moms and two sons. The older mom [32] is a rescue call operator whose job is to respond to emergency calls and dispatch the right people over. The younger mom [30] grows her own garden and has a job making “food art” or art created using food. The older son [8] is excellent at hiding and likes to be sneaky for fun. The younger son [7] loves to play with his food but has used his love for fruits and veggies to try out gardening and loves fruits more than anything. Question: What will get this family through the harsh conditions?

The sixth and final survivor family (2) consists of a married couple of two men. The older man [52] is a former mayor of his city and used his time as mayor to help keep the city and community thriving. The younger man [51] is a city health inspector who makes sure establishments are safe for the public and while he knows an island isn’t the most sanitary place, he will use his skills to warn people against possible ways of contracting disease. Question: How long have they been married?

A: They married as soon as same-sex marriage was legal in their country. Names of this family will be names of inventors or scientists.

B: They are newlyweds. Names of this family will be names of somewhat-famous people or people in history you believe deserve more credit.

Island Monthly Events
The survivors will stay on the island for as many months as possible until you get the Rescued scenario. Most scenarios have changed since the last one but some are the same. Each event represents a month spent on the island. This will require 36-sided dice.

Event: All remaining survivors in the game are found and safely rescued. The game is over.

Event: A female survivor is pregnant with a baby! If 9 months pass since this event and the survivors aren’t rescued yet, add the baby to the survivors. If they are rescued before 9 months, add the baby as (exp).

Event: The yellow-hearted survivors find a new source of plentiful food! Everyone increases in health.

Event: Yellow-hearted survivors are forced to get new food when the ocean’s crashing waves sweep away their food supply.

Event: While yellow-hearted survivors are looking for food, they see what looks like a corpse of a 25-year old (you choose gender and name). However this body doesn’t look like anyone from the yachts and must have been stranded there some other way, but before they try to figure out what happened, the body moves! The person is very weak but still alive! The yellow-hearted survivors feed this person and bring him/her/them to the others and the blue-hearted survivors nurse the new survivor for 2 months until health is restored. (You choose which heart colour the new survivor becomes part of.)
