A sequel to this and that and these and those and here and there and anywhere and everywhere and a bit of a CAF-like game but it’s more than just one family and there’s multiple aspects of many CAF games. 20 people may not have had luck on their side when their ferry sunk, but had luck on their side escaping the ferry and surviving on an island. And on this island, luck plays a huge role for these surviving people and they have to hope things will work out for them in the end. Fair warning: It will be hard for everyone to survive until the end and it’s very likely some might not…

Emojis will be used to represent characters’ status. You do not have to use the emojis next to the names when creating your families but they do serve purpose in monthly events.
Hearts will be used in events where someone of a certain skill can be used for the event.

Family making/Question Portion: In this portion, there are no right or wrong answers, this is just basic information on how to create your family.
This is for last names. Question: How will the survivors deal with the luck aspect?

A: They will take it as it is and understand they don’t always necessarily have control. All character surnames must have only one consonant.

The first survivor family (6) consists of two dads, twin daughters, and twin sons. The older dad [47] is a professional poker player and has a smart and cunning lifestyle. The younger dad [46]
is a ranger for a national park and was recently promoted to Head Ranger. The twin daughters [23] couldn’t be any more different with one
just starting medical school to be a surgeon and the other
starting law school to become a lawyer. One twin son [20]
always spends his time in the gym while the other twin son [20]
is in culinary school. Question: While they may be different, they all get along. How will this play into island survival?

A: They can use their skills and knowledge to work anything out. Names of this family will be Central European.

B: They are already family and can use their skills with helping other families. Names of this family will be South Asian.

C: They can get stuff done quicker. Names of this family will be from Pacific Islands.
The second survivor family (3) consists of two life partners and a son. The man [32] is a professional at jousting and the woman [32]
is a physical science teacher and believes in science behind every “miracle”. Their son [6]
is very family-focused and was the ring bearer at his uncle’s wedding, but knows his parents don’t want marriage and he loves and understands his parents. Because the couple isn’t married and has no plans to do so, they have different surnames but their child has a hyphenated surname. Question: Why do the life partners choose not to ever marry?

The third survivor family (3) are two non-binary parents and a daughter. The older non-binary parent [35] is a stay-at-home parent who spends lots of time with their daughter and enjoys playing luck games with her. The younger non-binary parent [34]
is a biology professor and takes no nonsense with people saying “ThErE’s 2 GeNdErZ!!!1! iT’s BiOlOgY!!!1!” and can be very brutally honest but is a nice and caring person. Their daughter [10]
was adopted and shows tremendous stamina and is an expert junior darts player. Question: Who has the most survival motivation?
A: The older parent. Everyone in the family has short nickname-names.
B: The younger parent. Names of this family have one vowel used more often than other vowels.
C: The daughter. Names of this family are unisex names that are more common today on one gender but at one point used to be more common on the other.
The fourth survivor family (2) consists of newlyweds. The husband [26] is a sushi chef. The wife [26]
is a pizza chef. The husband uses his vast sushi knowledge to his advantage in fishing and the wife uses her knowledge of spices and herbs to flavour her pizza and help forage. Question: What will be the hardest part, despite their food expertise?

The fifth survivor family (4) consists of grandparents and two grandchildren. The grandma [80] is a pro blackjack player and is a fan of strategic luck. The grandpa [80]
still exercises every day and keeps his body healthy. The granddaughter [27]
loves planting gardens and will use it to help the yellow-hearted survivors gather food but is mainly in it for the botany. The grandson [26]
is a yoga teacher and despite lots of physical strength, he keeps a calm and relaxed demeanour. Question: What happened to the parents of the grandchildren?

A: They didn’t survive the ferry sinking. Names of this family will be names of old Hollywood actors and actresses.

B: They were working and couldn’t take the days off to vacation on the ferry. Initials of this family spell out a 3-letter word.

The sixth and final survivor family (2) consists of boy/girl fraternal twins. The man [23] is an influencer but not a toxic one and truly cares about his fans. The woman [23]
works at a small local basketball class for kids. Both of them know hard work and luck are the two things that kept their careers thriving and know this will intertwine to island survival. Question: Which do they value more?

Island Monthly Events
The survivors will stay on the island for as many months as possible until you get the Rescued scenario. Most scenarios have changed since the last one but some are the same. Each event represents a month spent on the island. This will require 36-sided dice.

Event: All remaining survivors in the game are found and safely rescued. The game is over.

Event: A female survivor is pregnant with a baby! If 9 months pass since this event and the survivors aren’t rescued yet, add the baby to the survivors. If they are rescued before 9 months, add the baby as (exp).

Event: The yellow-hearted survivors find a new source of plentiful food! Everyone increases in health.

Event: The food unfortunately goes missing while everyone is asleep and the yellow-hearted survivors have to get new food.

Event: While yellow-hearted survivors are looking for food, they see what looks like a corpse of a 25-year old (you choose gender and name). However this body doesn’t look like anyone from the ferry and must have been stranded there some other way, but before they try to figure out what happened, the body moves! The person is very weak but still alive! The yellow-hearted survivors feed this person and bring him/her/them to the others and the blue-hearted survivors nurse the new survivor for 2 months until health is restored. (You choose which heart colour the new survivor becomes part of.)

Event: While yellow-hearted survivors are looking for food, they see what looks like a corpse of a 30-year old (you choose gender and name). However this body doesn’t look like anyone from the ferry and must have been stranded there some other way, but before they try to figure out what happened, the body moves! The person is very weak but still alive! The yellow and blue-hearted survivors do what they can to save this new person but the person is in danger of dying. Roll the dice, if it’s even they survive. (If they survive, they become a new survivor character and you choose which heart colour the new survivor becomes part of.)

Event: A survivor (you choose) is seriously wounded. Roll the dice, if it’s even, they are healed by blue-hearted survivors and if it’s odd it gets infected. If they get infected, roll even for them to be healed of infection (they will not be usable for the next two months) and if it’s odd, they die from infection.

Event: A yellow-hearted survivor (you choose) goes missing and is unfortunately found dead, after being buried alive under mud and rocks. However they have a final gift, a plethora of food found for the survivors this month.

Event: Termites destroy the wood in the shelters so the red-hearted survivors rebuild them.

Event: The survivors successfully survive a tropical storm.

Event: The green-hearted survivors lead everyone among a new path, which fortunately gives them a new body of safe drinking water.

Event: The green-hearted survivors warn a survivor (you choose) not to move forward in the direction they’re going and to turn back. This turns out to be a life-saving call, because that survivor was approaching venomous snakes and was about to get bit.

Event: Two survivors (you choose) get into an argument when a blanket is swept away by the ocean waves and one of them wants to grab the blanket to keep them warm while another tells them not to do it because it’s not safe. Just then while they’re arguing, they see sharks in the ocean grabbing the blanket and tearing it apart. The survivor who wanted the blanket is relieved that their life was saved by the other survivor warning them not to get it, but now they unfortunately have one less blanket to keep them warm at night.

Event: The survivors are unable to start fire for most of the month and are forced to sleep many nights without warmth.
