Talk About Your Story

I figured out the last one! Or at least moreso. So, two siblings mourning their dad learn that they have a younger half sibling–or maybe they’ve known for a while but no one really dealt with the blow and they never met til or got to know each other til now, since they are all equally entitled to grieve their shared dad. And the oldest sibling is weirded out to see their “baby” sibling play older sibling to the youngest, half sibling. Both moms will be major characters too, as well as grandparents potentially, or other extended family members.

I am a little nervous about what the final word count of this draft is going to be! The last one was a hair over 90,000 words but I’m at 92,000 now and still have 3 big events to get through? I didn’t think I added that much!

I have the exact opposite problem! I tend to forget description, and have to really push myself to do it (Especially architecture! I suck at it!). I also end up with too little plot to carry an entire story, which has made me quit exactly six projects! However, on some of those projects, it might be a good thing that I quit…
