Based on the real show The Amazing Race, teams of two will travel around the world to try and win 1,000,000! In the show, the teams get clues and do tasks in various countries, trying not to be the last team to arrive. In the majority of these legs (parts of the Race), there will be an elimination for the last team to arrive, unless spared by a Non-Elimination Leg.
Remember to do Part 1 before continuing to this part. Use the remaining teams from Part 1 and start with the country the teams visited in that part. They will now visit another country in that continent. The teams start out in the airport where three teams (Use the first place team from last leg and two randomly chosen teams with Decision Maker to determine which three) get a head start on an earlier flight. The rest leave on a later flight that goes in an hour after the first flight.
Roll D6 twice for extras to add in.
1: A team who did well last leg (you choose) would have made it on the earlier flight but admittedly overslept.
2: A team (you choose) is pleasantly surprised to make it on the first flight.
3: Two teams (you choose) talks about their lives before the Race and why they wanted to be here.
4: A team (you choose) doesnât mind the flight theyâre on and is just excited to visit the country theyâre going to.
5: A team (you choose) accuses another team (you choose) of cutting them in line to get plane tickets.
6: One member of a team (you choose) is hoping to stay on the race long enough to really take a big step in the bonding of them and their teammate.
DETOUR (where teams must do one of two tasks): Teams must grapple down a wall looking over the city theyâre in or walk several blocks to deliver national goods for a local vendor. You may choose which teams complete which Detour.
Roll D6 twice for extras to add in.
1: A team (you choose) chose the grapple task because they found it quicker but are now fearing the heights.
2: A team (you choose) chose the goods task because they canât imagine doing a heights task so soon.
3: A team (you choose) had differing opinions on what task to do but finish it well thanks to their good bond.
4: A team member (you choose) is impressed with their partnerâs skilled and calm ways of the task.
5: A team (you choose) keeps talking about what they did wrong last leg but insist it wonât happen again.
6: A team (you choose) takes it in as a fun moment in the country theyâre in.
ROADBLOCK (where only one member on the team does the task): One team member must finish an entire bowl of a traditional food served from the country. You choose everyone who does this Roadblock.
Roll D6 once for extras to add in. You may choose which team this is for.
1: The team member not performing the Roadblock is getting a bad feeling they should have done the task instead.
2: The team member doing the Roadblock is getting sick but focuses on getting this done quickly and forgetting about the food.
3: The team member doing the Roadblock actually really enjoys this food.
4: The team member not doing the Roadblock cheers for their partner but admittedly is getting antsy seeing their partner eat all of it.
5: The team member not doing the Roadblock loves the smell of the cooking but is happy not to do this task.
6: The team member doing the Roadblock doesnât even like the food theyâre eating, making it harder.
PIT STOP: Use the List Randomiser to determine the team placements. The last team on the list is eliminated.
