Based on the real show The [name_m]Amazing[/name_m] [name_m]Race[/name_m], teams of two will travel around the world to try and win 1,000,000! In the show, the teams get clues and do tasks in various countries, trying not to be the last team to arrive. In the majority of these legs (parts of the [name_m]Race[/name_m]), there will be an elimination for the last team to arrive, unless spared by a Non-Elimination Leg. For those who don’t know, here’s what the terms mean.
Roll D4 for teams and list the teams. There will be 10 teams of 2 with a pre-existing relationship. Rolling 1 means the team is family (can be any relation), 2 means the team is a couple (can be any gender and relationship status), 3 means the team is two friends/best friends, and 4 means the team can be whatever you want.
For the first country, roll D6. Rolling 1 means starting in an African country of your choice, 2 means starting in an [name_f]Asian[/name_f] country of your choice, 3 means starting in a European country of your choice, means starting in a [name_m]North[/name_m] American country of your choice, means starting in a [name_m]South[/name_m] American country of your choice, and 6 means starting in an Oceanic country of your choice.
DETOUR (where teams must do one of two tasks): Teams must paint a piece similar to the country’s style or score a point in a sport commonly played in the country. You may choose which teams complete which Detour.
[name_m]Roll[/name_m] D6 once for extras to add in.
1: A team (you choose) keeps messing up and bickering with each other on what’s going wrong.
2: A team (you choose) gets there early but struggles and decides to switch to complete the other Detour.
3: A team (you choose) talks a lot about how they know each other and what they want to get out from the [name_m]Race[/name_m].
4: A team (you choose) both have a very strong bond with each other and use their teamwork to get the task done.
5: A team (you choose) isn’t doing that bad, but worries they could be in the back of the pack and don’t want to go home so soon.
6: A team (you choose) works together well with another team (you choose) doing the same Detour.
ROADBLOCK (where only one member on the team does the task): One team member must listen to the country’s National [name_m]Anthem[/name_m], then correctly pronounce the first four lines (if it’s a wordless anthem, just have them hum the tune). You choose everyone who does this Roadblock.
[name_m]Roll[/name_m] D6 once for extras to add in. You may choose which team this is for.
1: The team member not performing the Roadblock is getting a bad feeling they should have done the task instead.
2: The team member doing the Roadblock is getting nervous but thinks about why the team is here.
3: The team member doing the Roadblock makes the most of of the experience.
4: The team member not doing the Roadblock sees other teams coming and encourages the partner to hurry.
5: The team member not doing to Roadblock roots their partner on and thinks about the bond the team has together.
6: The team member doing the Roadblock remembers a connection they have with the country and uses it as motivation.
PIT STOP: Use the List Randomiser to determine the team placements. The last team on the list is eliminated.
