Maybe just change bradford’s nickname. In my accent we say the place name ‘Bradford’ as brad-fud rather than [name_m]Ford[/name_m] anyway so for me the nickname made it more of a connection. But I’m not into star wars or indiana jones…so if it weren’t my housemates who cosplay star wars I wouldn’t even know [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] Ford’s name

in [name_f]British[/name_f] [name_f]English[/name_f] you wouldn’t traditionally add an ‘s to a name ending in s when forming the plural so it wouldn’t be annoying…it would be Miles’
