Because I love Nathaniel so much but can never find a middle name that I’m 100% happy with…

Narrowing it down and getting rid of Mara because it really skewed votes (she’s still in the running it’s just basically everyone voted for her and… that’s not a vibe):

I didn’t include Finnick because I most likely can’t use it
[name_m]Benedict[/name_m] is my favorite full name for Ned!
Well, turns out when I said that was the last Imogene-related poll, I lied! Sorry!
Favorite middle for Hazel?

I was talking to my best friend about theater, and I suddenly realized I quite like Estragon for a little boy… What do you think?
For those of you that don’t know: Estragon is one of the two main characters in Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. It’s a French word meaning “tarragon” (the herb)

I read it as estrogen at first, which is why I’m not super enthusiastic about it
However, I also think it sounds great!
@katkabet and @venezio I see what you mean now, but it hadn’t even crossed my mind until you mentioned it. I guess it also doesn’t sound like estrogen at all in the language(s) I speak, so it’s not an issue for me.
I can see it when it’s written out, but when I say it, it’s not even close with my accent.
can Hopie be a nickname for Nadzieja?

Ever since I read Nim’s Island as a kid I have had such a soft spot for Nim as a nick name. But it’s kind of an uncomman sound in full names. Could Imogen be a way to get to Nim?

Nim’s Island is also one of my favorite book / movie series! Some others I like (though they may not be your style) are Nimue, Nimia, and Nimiane. I also quite often use Nim as a quirky nickname for Naida, or really just any N name.

I love those too! Especially [name_f]Nimue[/name_f], I just don’t know if I would have the courage to use it on an actual child. Idk if it would be confusing for young children learning how to spell or not.
