Background on why it feels meaningful to me
I’m not a religious person (nor do I have a set religion), but the motto of my alma mater is “[name_u]Truth[/name_u], even unto its innermost parts” and for the past decade that phrase has become a mantra and occupies a very special place in my heart.
It comes from [name_m]Psalm[/name_m] 51:6, so I’ll leave a few translations here:
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. [New American Standard Bible]
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. [King [name_u]James[/name_u]]
