I like names that go together, maybe even start with the same letter, but I wouldn’t want names so similar that I am constantly mixing them up and/or mashing them together, if you know what I mean.
I have never known any triplets, but I have known plenty of twins. One set in particular that stands out to me are [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. Their names aren’t similar, but they share some sounds and go together really well.
I know triplets who are in their late teens names [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Paige[/name_f], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. I think that’s a pretty nice sib set.

If I had triplets today I would name them [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]. I wouldn’t go for any particular theme - perhaps a linking letter, but no more.
I really don’t like the idea of a marching sibset or obviously themed one, and I like the idea even less in multiples. They are separate persons, not the same entity as some will treat them throughout their lives (the youngest set of twins I know are named [name_u]Abby[/name_u] and [name_u]Gabby[/name_u] and are referred to exclusively as “The Twins”, and I have seen this among the other twin sets I know).
Personally, I don’t mind a subtle theme or even connecting middles.

I know of one set of all girl triplets, [name_u]Chandler[/name_u], [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u]. They have two sisters, [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. I think the triplets’ names go pretty well together although I might have used [name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] just so they each have a different ending but I would never actually use any of these names. I think it’s strange that they have sisters named [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] which seem so feminine compared to [name_u]Chandler[/name_u], [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u].
I really love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. Does anybody know of a name that would go with those two?
