@stephaniebrooke, did you wind up getting results yesterday or will [name_f]Monday[/name_f] be more likely?
@anon25197097, haha, bedwetting twins. H has been out of nighttime diapers for a year now. Accidents just once in a blue moon like the other night.
He prevented me from calling myself not fertile prematurely though. [name_f]My[/name_f] temps have been wishy-washy, haven’t risen high enough but also aren’t as low as they would normally be for my follicular phase either. [name_m]Just[/name_m] hovering right around the cover line (but this month also feels wildly inaccurate to begin with as I missed the first few days since I didnt have my new thermometer to replace the broken one)… we had to turn our heat on two weeks ago though so I may still be adjusting to our different nighttime temps…
I had two bone dry days, but then lotiony, and a smidgen of the super clear, not copious, not super stretchy stuff (I call that “serum”), which should be considered fertile.
I would normally be ovulating today based on my lunaception norm but of course one can never schedule these things. So perhaps I’m still warming back up after something (stress) cooled me down before… Sorry for the hue and cry in search of my ov. This cycle clearly hasn’t been normal.
Our 3 solid hours alone yesterday were so needed. And perhaps I’ll have conceived afterall…
Hubby back to work today so I’m pretty sure we’ve gotta kinda pack it up this month. I’ll bug him if I have any more copious egg-white, but otherwise not at this point. We had an intense week.
@_thelittlefairywren, you’ve been quiet. How did your stormy weekend in go?

@Marae_Grace1, you should be close to knowing. Status?
My husband has the same view as many of you, When it happens it will happen. I also try to have that few but 10 cycles in, it feels at this point that it never will. Its hard sometimes, it feels like everyone around me is pregnant or has babies this last year. I’m hopeful my time will come soon.
I’m on CD 28 here, took a test yesterday morning and it was stark white. Still no AF though so I’m technically not out but I think its coming. It should be here today or tomorrow. This last month was my first with OPK’s so I’m hopeful that continuing to use them these few months will help me learn more about my body and catch an egg. This month I ovulated 4 days later than I though I was.
Happy Halloween everyone! ( The things you do for the kids) !
I’ve always liked Medusa and Greek mythology. Medusa is great as she doesn’t have to change her resting bïtch face.

@PrincessShannon, based on your ov date it may just be legitimately too early for a positive (depending on the sensitivity of your test). I am hopeful for you, if not this month then in the next couple months. Honestly you probably have been shooting in the dark up to this point based on what you’ve said about your cycle so these tries will be much more accurate and I think your time will come soon.
@anon25197097, that is awesome! You look so cool and I’m sure your kiddos enjoy your resting bitch face enthusiasm.
Question: Would you use an expired pregnancy test (First Response Digital test expired [name_f]April[/name_f] 2019)?
- Yes, if that is what I had around
- No, it isn’t to be trusted
- Yes, but if I got a positive I’d immediately schedule a doc appt to confirm
- Yes, but if I got a positive I’d immediately go buy a new test to confirm
- Yes, but if I got a negative I’d wait a few days and go buy another test if AF didn’t show
- Yes, but only after AF would have showed (when HcG is hopefully higher)… don’t treat it is as an ‘early response’ so if you’re looking for an answer earlier, go buy a new test

Yes I would use it, but I’d go buy another test if it came back positive. Then again, I had to have 6 tests to confirm positive before I really believed it.

Haha. I was so lucky to have only ever used a single pregnancy test in my life (but bought these two together… I honestly kinda like the idea of those being my only sibling positives but idk if that is insane considering how expired it is so it is more likely to give a false negative or false positive). I never had my pregnancy “confirmed” by anybody else (no doc appt), but this time we will monitor my thyroid every month so I know I’ll have a doc appt before I see my midwife again and I know he will want to confirm. Eventually my midwife could feel my fundus so we knew I wasn’t just suddenly amenorrhic with continuing high temps and puking everyday because Pseudocyesis manifested it…

Yeah, I would buy other tests to confirm either way. But I would probably use it just because it’s there. If it was negative I would just wait until after my period was about to start and get more if it didn’t. If it was positive I’d buy more just to see more positives.
I had a pack of three when I found out and I used them all in two days. And then I went and bought the ones that actually say “pregnant” because I wanted to see it.
I didn’t have a doctor’s appointment until 7 weeks. That’s when we found out it was two!

My first appt was at 11 weeks and by 13w6d I was feeling the quickening of first fluttery R0ry kicks and knew it was all real.
When I had my preconception appt with her this time, my midwife said I should expect between 10 and 13 weeks for my first appt again. Feels like such a long time.

Aww sweet little flutter kicks
Yeah, I’m debating whether to just wait until 10 wks this time because I have to do testing then anyway.
That would take so much patience though.

I might base that decision more on covid numbers than anything else. [name_f]My[/name_f] midwife comes to me so I’m less concerned, but if I had to go into an office or see and interact with more than a single person, I would probably base it on that. But maybe that is just me. If you conceived right away this would be dead winter/flu season we are talking about anyway (end of [name_u]November[/name_u] cycle is when I conceived). I’m excited for you! Less than a month to start date, right?

That’s exactly like me. I do so many tests it makes it feel more real!

Thank you.
I would still use the preg test that’s out of date. Like @whatchamacallit suggested, I’d probably buy a few more though just to see what they say.

[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t lose hope. I can understand it must be so frustrating. I know what you mean about the baby thing too, when you want something. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] imagery seems to be everywhere. Keep us posted
@whatchamacallit are you likely to have twins again? As you’ve had twins? I read somewhere your statistically higher for having multiples.

@hyacinthbucket Nothing today. It was technically a working day for my doctor’s office, but I figure [name_f]Monday[/name_f], [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] at the latest. I also plan to test on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], as I’ll be 10DPO. More breast tenderness, a little bit of passing nausea this morning. Tons of stuff makes me cry on a normal basis, but this morning friends shared a post about their 5 year wedding anniversary and it made me burst into tears.
Come to think of it, I was listening to “Isn’t She [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]” by [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] [name_f]Wonder[/name_f] while driving yesterday, and that made me tear up too. Still not trying to symptom spot over here though.

It is IMPOSSIBLE not to. I hope all that means what it sounds like, though.

@anon25197097 I supposedly have a 1 in 12 chance of having twins again. Because my first pregnancy was twins and because of my age. I’m not sure whether I trust that or not because I’ve heard of more families with a singleton after twins than with another set of twins.
But then I don’t know too many people with twins as their first either.
Actually, your chances of having twins is probably higher than most too since your sister did.

Feeling heightened awareness of relaxin in my joints… feeling extra supple and weirdly squishy and wondering why. I just looked it up and apparently we have it all the time in the progesterone phase, but I never notice this feeling during my cycle. I’m probably just inventing sensations…
