For those who play/played video games…what are some of your favorite names you’ve heard while playing? It’s a great place for hidden gems!

[name_f]My[/name_f] love for [name_f]Amalia[/name_f] stems from playing Final [name_f]Fantasy[/name_f] XII when I was around 12/13. I also think I first heard [name_f]Elena[/name_f] in Uncharted and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Alessia[/name_f] in TES: Oblivion.

Began to like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] more because of Uncharted, and started to like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]/Sully. Actually, I like [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] as well…
Same with [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] from [name_f]Soul[/name_f] Caliber
[name_m]Louis[/name_m] from Left 4 Dead. I actually kind of disliked it before, but now I’m rather fond of it

A favourite of mine is [name_m]Daxter[/name_m]! I don’t think I would ever use it though, as being confused with [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] would probably drive me (and my kid) nuts. I definitely prefer the name with an “ah” sound though

Also, @anon57824181 where did you hear [name_f]Luma[/name_f]? [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name but I can’t remember hearing it from a video game?
@choupette The [name_m]Elder[/name_m] Scrolls has SO MANY interesting names! Some are a little… out there but there are some really beautiful finds in those games.
@KJGlitter Ooo I forgot how much I love the name [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]! I haven’t played many games this past year either…I hope you get to dive into a new game soon
Ooh that sounds really like Eske the Frisian girl name which I totally but DH hates names with less than three syllables especially on girls and we don’t live in the Frisian part of [name_m]Germany[/name_m].
DH often finds names in computer games and tries to persuade me about them. Yennefer and [name_f]Morrigan[/name_f] were both on his long list. He very nearly convinced me re [name_f]Morrigan[/name_f] as a middle because of the mythological links and the crow symbolism

I can’t remember if it was one S or two
I love a lot of the names from Dragon Age! I liked [name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]/Kieran before I played the game, so it’s just given me more appreciation, but there’s also a lot of really great names that I got introduced to like [name_m]Alistair[/name_m], [name_f]Anora[/name_f], and [name_f]Morrigan[/name_f], plus more explicitly fantastical but fun ones like Solas, Zevran, and Varric.
