I just found out I am expecting twins, again. My other children are [name]Olivia[/name] Rimmington, 13, [name]Aiden[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], 11, [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Jacob[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Sophia/name, 5. I am looking for names for twins that start with vowels and don’t have the nn [name]Bella[/name] (that’s [name]Isabella[/name]'s nn). They don’t have to match by any means, [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] was just a coincidence, [name]Isabella[/name] was my favorite name and [name]Isaac[/name] was the only one my husband and I could agree on. My last name is very flexible. Some names I am considering:
Because your first two daughters have such classically feminine names, I think you can narrow down your girls’ list pretty easily: [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] feel like the best sib set. I think [name]Abigail[/name] and [name]Adeline[/name] could work, too, but the gender neutral/place name choices like
[name]Avery[/name] and [name]Aspen[/name] feel out of step with your other daughters’ names.
Assuming you want two A names, that leaves [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name]. But I think [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] would be my favorite combo. I can see [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] as brothers, too.
Thanks for your help! [name]Amelia[/name] is definitely my favorite of the girls, too. I do like [name]Owen[/name], but my husband…well, not so much. His favorite name for a boy is [name]Ethan[/name], and I like that name pretty well. But I don’t know if I’ll even have a boy yet, so we’ll just have to see for now. Thank you so much!
I’m thinking maybe you should go for E names, since you’ve already covered A, I, and O. Since your husband likes [name]Ethan[/name] and you like [name]Amelia[/name]…how about [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name]?
Fantastic! [name]Linda[/name] and I are looking forward to lots and lots of nameberry babies. When are you due? Be sure to send us a report and a picture when the babies are born!
Okay, so I know that I’ll name my twins [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name]…that is if I have a boy and a girl. But what if I have two boys? Or two girls? I love those names and especially together, so I want to keep them. So I need a boy name to go with [name]Ethan[/name] and a girl name to go with [name]Emilia[/name]. Any suggestions?
I like [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Do[/name] you want the other boy/girl to have the same initial?
Since you’d have three girl names ending with an a, I think the possible fourth one should be the same.
Here are a few ideas for girl names that start with E and end with a :
[name]Eliana[/name]
[name]Elisa[/name]
[name]Ella[/name]
[name]Emma[/name]
[name]Elena[/name]
[name]Estella[/name]
[name]Evelina[/name]
[name]Elodia[/name]
[name]Love[/name] it! [name]How[/name] about [name]Eloisa[/name], which seems to be a favorite on the boards? I love [name]Eliza[/name], but it has the same derivation as [name]Isabella[/name] ([name]Elizabeth[/name]). Or maybe you should go to another vowel – [name]Ursula[/name]? [name]Yasmina[/name]?
For a boy, you had several other E names you liked: [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Edison[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Emmett[/name]?
[name]Ethan[/name] & [name]Owen[/name] work beautifully together from your suggestions and keeps them from being too similar.
[name]Emilia[/name] &…
Some vowel girl thoughts (trying to stay as regal as [name]Emilia[/name]!):
[name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Ophelia[/name] (well it’s a long shot but why not?!)
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Andrea[/name]
[name]Allegra[/name]
[name]Anna[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
I love [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name]! Great names…
I like [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Edison[/name] (fantastic name!).
With [name]Emilia[/name], I think an [name]El[/name]- name would be perfect. [name]Emmy[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] are great nicknames for twin girls!!
Thank you so much for all the name suggestions! I saw several that I liked, and some very good points were made. I talked to my husband about them and together we came up with some that we both liked. Here are our favorites (besides [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name], which has already been established):
[name]Eleanor/name
[name]Anastasia/name
[name]Annabel/name
[name]Abigail/name
[name]Adeline/name
[name]Alexander[/name](I know a little [name]Alexander[/name] who goes by [name]Zander[/name] and I have grown to like it)
[name]Edison[/name]
Okay, I’m now leaning towards [name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name] for twin girls. I have fallen in love with that combination and absolutely love the nn [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Stasia[/name]! Any thoughts? Still open to boy names to go with [name]Ethan[/name], though I like [name]Edison[/name] and especially [name]Alexander[/name].
I like [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name] together, but I mainly wanted to post because I too am a [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Lol.
[name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] are lovely!
For two boys how about:
[name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Everett[/name]
[name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name]
[name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Eli[/name]
For two girls how about:
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Eva[/name]- These are actually two of my top three girl choices, the other is [name]Isabel[/name].
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Esme[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name]
