I’m so happy that this thread was created, because I love hearing about everybody’s characters and storylines, and also because I’m very excited about the fact that I have actually started putting a story down on paper and I’m glad I can tell you guys about it!
Protagonist- [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_m]Clarke[/name_m]. The youngest in a group of four sisters, she is clever, cunning, but secretly compassionate, and absolutely despises the fact that she is royalty. She hates how nobles treat middle-to-lower class people and she wants to take over the throne now that her parents have died, only because she wants to change the way the kingdom is run and because she wants to shame her sisters, who she has a bad relationship with (for the most part.) She has Schizoid Personality Disorder. She has a lot more depth, but I won’t get into it all now!

She is a very gentle, yet melancholic girl. She feels torn because of the turmoil within her family and she feels as though she has to “pick a side.”
Andriel (no mn or ln yet)- [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]'s most dedicated suitor. He’s very arrogant and selfish and only wants to marry [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] so that he can become king. Their engagement will be sabotaged, however…
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] Johansson- a servant in the castle. Has a passionate love for pastries and also [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] kidding, but only kind of. He’s [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]'s love interest. He loves to read and wants to travel the world. His relationship with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] will develop throughout the story into a romance, and they will have an unconventional and complex, yet wholly loving relationship due to [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]'s mental illness (which I am doing A LOT of research on in order to portray correctly. As a neurodivergent person myself, I am especially dedicated to/passionate about accurately portraying mental divergence in works of fiction)

The main characters in the novel I’m attempting to write atm don’t really have ‘exciting’ or interesting names, as I didn’t think that would suit them or their story. It focuses on [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], as she deals with the mess she’s made of her relationship with her children, [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and [name_u]Aiden[/name_u].
My current main character names are [name_f]Allouette[/name_f] Blacke and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_u]Theroux[/name_u].

It’s slightly different, but I’ve been designing a board game and each character has their own backstory. There are 14 heroes, each with their own unique style, abilities, and homeland. It’s a fictional/fantasy world vaguely set (though nowhere mentioned) in the 15-1600’s.
*I’m not going for name-era authenticity but rather names that meet these criteria: fun to say, fairly easy to pronounce, and fits the character well.

I’m writing a fantasy that takes place in a different universe (think [name_f]Narnia[/name_f], Wonderland, etc.), whose culture and development is very much behind our own in terms of technology, but they make up for it in Magick.

So, for that reason, I figured I could put down the supporting characters in my stories (plus one more I started). The first two have minimal surnames because I am soooo bad at them.
