Mine is [name_f]Anne[/name_f]. So I’m [name_f]Ebony[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m], exciting right.
Well not until i mention my mum and grandma’s middles are both [name_f]Anne[/name_f] and my Great Grandma is named [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. My dads and my brothers middles are both [name_u]James[/name_u] ([name_u]Darren[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]) and my sister is [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. I love my middle name though and plan on using it on one of my first girls.
For possible future children i listed them here
So what are your middles are they simply fillers, or family names? Would you ever use them on your own children? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like them?
Mine is [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. I wasn’t named after anyone though. My mom heard [name_f]Erin[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] on tv and fell in love with it and so that’s what my parents went with. Would I use it for future children? Probably not. It’s not that I don’t like the name, but there are some middle names that I like a little more. Over all, I really like my name and it suits me well.
Mine is Katea - pronounced like [name_f]Katie[/name_f]. I’m named after my grandparents - first name is [name_f]Kennedi[/name_f] after grandpas [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], middle name is after my grandmas [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] and Teallie. We gave my daughter Katea as a middle name as well.
My name is [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_f]Starr[/name_f]. My mom pulled both names out of thin air when she had me as the doctors were telling her I was a boy until I popped out (guess the doctors knew something biology didn’t show ). She was going to name me [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. My sister is [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] and my brother is [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. No, I don’t want [name_u]Angel[/name_u] (or any version of it) or [name_f]Star[/name_f]/[name_f]Starr[/name_f] in my children’s names. [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_f]Starr[/name_f] [name_m]Cash[/name_m] was my maiden name and if you google it, it’s a porn star >.<
Recently I picked a name for myself to use when since I’m beginning my transition into presenting male more often and I picked Remy for the first. Right now, I’m debating between Remy Archimedes and Remy Voltaire. And yes, I would use Archimedes and Voltaire on any of my boys (if my husband would agree).
My middle name is [name_f]Lynne[/name_f]. It’s my aunt’s name, and the name of my mother’s best friend growing up.
I think coincidentaly, I also have the same full name my grandmother was contemplating for her ONLY daughter, which she lost in birth.
I’m planning on giving my first daughter my middle name.
My middle name is [name_u]Courtney[/name_u], making me [name_f]Larissa[/name_f] [name_u]Courtney[/name_u]. I think my parents just chose it because it sounded nice, but since it means “of the court” it sort of makes sense because my moms first career was court reporting. I don’t think it’s filler, but I don’t think i would give it to my children because I’m not a huge fan of the name. If anything, I would probably use my moms middle name, [name_u]Adair[/name_u].
My middle name is [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. I was born in 1990, and it was quite a popular name back then. LOL. I don’t have any real good stories about it. My mom just liked it.
My middle name is [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] after both of my grandmothers. I haven’t really planned on giving my first daughter [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as a middle, but I’ve though of using [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], which is what [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] means. I could never spell my middle name when I was younger lol, I always used to spell it Margrat lol.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. My full name is [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but I usually just go by [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
My middle name is [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] after my great-granny. There’s been a [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] in each generation since, so it’s definitely being passed on if I ever have a daughter.
My middle name is [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It has a long, romantic, meaningful story behind it that I adore and like to keep tucked in my secret back pocket (sorry berries)! It is neither a family name nor a filler; it bothers me like crazy when people assume and call filler. No. [name_m]Just[/name_m] no.
No, I probably wouldn’t give it to a child. Though I once did think that if I had one daughter it would be simply adorable to name her [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (after dad [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and mom [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]), but I got over that.
Mine’s [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f]. It’s my aunt’s middle name, too, and it was my great-great-grandmother’s first name. I think it was chosen because of my aunt, though, because my brother’s middle name is also the same as one of our uncles, but I’ve never asked. They’re all family names anyway.
My middle name is [name_f]Marie[/name_f], and it is not a filler name. My mother’s middle name is [name_f]Marie[/name_f], and she was named after a family member whose first name was [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. I might consider using it someday.
My middle name is [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], which was almost my first name. It was chosen mainly for the Scandinavian roots, but also because it was extension of [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] which is my Grandmother’s middle name. I like it but I am not sure if I would ever use it as a name for a future child.
My middle name is [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f]. It’s my mom’s middle name as well. I’ve always liked my middle name. I won’t be using it for my first girl, as her middle name will be after my grandmother, but if I have two girls then the second one’s middle name will be [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f].
My middle name is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Feels filler but it’s actually honoring my great-grandmother [name_f]Betty[/name_f]. Sometimes I wish it was my first name rather than my middle. I might consider using it for child one day.
My middle name is [name_f]Maria[/name_f], after my grandmother [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. I’m neutral to it. I don’t like it, but I don’t dislike it either. I kind of wish I had a normal first name and a weird middle name instead of a weird first name and normal middle; because no one was able to pronounce my name growing up ([name_f]Eleni[/name_f]). So yeah. My name is [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f].
My middle name is [name_f]Teresa[/name_f], making my full name [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Teresa[/name_f]. I was named after my mom, whose middle name is also [name_f]Teresa[/name_f], and my great-grandmother Thresia. It’s not a name I’m particularly fond of, so I won’t be passing it down to a daughter.
I love this. [name_f]One[/name_f] of my best friends is an [name_u]Angel[/name_u] and her character on our site is [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] [name_f]Starr[/name_f]
My middle name is [name_f]Rose[/name_f], after four other Roses: my nanna, great grandma,* great great great grandma and great great great great grandma. I’ll definitely be passing it down to my first born daughter. She’ll be the sixth [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (as far as I know, it could well go back further…)
*Great great grandma was [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f] Doolittle. I don’t know how she escaped being a [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
My middle name (along with both my sisters’ and my brother’s middles) is my mom’s maiden name. I’m growing to like and appreciate the familial sentiment behind the name but I used to hate it. I was always quite embarrassed by it because every other girl’s was [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_f]Marie[/name_f], etc.
I don’t want my future children to have those feelings about their names at all so I’m not planning on passing it down. Plus, my mom’s brother has two boys who can carry on the family name so I don’t feel like I have to
